“Do you have the method for making it?” Billy asked.
“Except for the Full-color Array Talisman, the methods for making the other seven colors are all here,” Ben Muir said, taking out an animal skin scroll from his storage ring and handing it to Billy.
Seeing that Billy had made up his mind, he did not try to persuade him further.
“Thank you!” Billy took the animal skin scroll and started reading. About half an hour later, he handed it back to Ben Muir. “Got it!”
“Mr. Billy, if you’re interested, you can keep it. There’s a copy in the Array Alliance warehouse,” Ben Muir responded.
“Thank you very much!” Billy accepted without hesitation.
This was valuable information. Except for the Full-color Array Talisman, the scroll contained instructions for all other Array Talismans. In the future, when his array skills and cultivation improved, he could attempt to make Indigo and Purple Array Talismans.
“You’re welcome, Mr. Billy!” Ben Muir smiled.
Billy then immersed himself in studying the Blue Array Talisman, with Ben Muir staying to discuss it with him.
Time flew by, and half a month passed in the blink of an eye.
“Mr. Billy, did you succeed?!”
One morning, Ben Muir exclaimed as he noticed a Blue Array Talisman in front of him.
At the same time, Billy spat out a mouthful of blood. His aura became chaotic, and his face turned pale.
“Mr. Billy, what’s wrong?” Ben Muir exclaimed again. “Did you suffer a backlash?”
“Yes,” Billy nodded slightly. “I need to meditate for a while.”
He took out two pills from his body and swallowed them, then began to heal himself using his cultivation technique.
As Ben Muir had said, he had succeeded but also suffered a backlash.
Clearly, with his current cultivation level, making a Blue Array Talisman was too much for him.
However, with this experience, given time and further improvement in his cultivation, making Blue Array Talismans would become easier.
About an hour later, Billy finished meditating and opened his eyes.
“Mr. Billy, how are you?” Ben Muir asked.
“I’m fine,” Billy nodded slightly.
“Are you sure?” Ben Muir asked again.
“Yes,” Billy stood up. “So, the Blue Array Talisman was successfully made?”
“Yes,” Ben Muir nodded vigorously and couldn’t help but praise him. “Now I understand why the Nine Dragons Cauldron chose you as its master. I am truly impressed!”
“It was just luck,” Billy replied. “Is the usage and purpose of the Blue Array Talisman the same as the Red Array Talisman?”
When he had saved Howlin Muir, the Array Alliance had given him three Red Array Talismans, so he knew their usage and purpose.
Once, during a tribulation, he had been ambushed, and Stout had used one of them to help everyone survive.
“The usage is the same,” Ben Muir nodded. “But the purpose is quite different.”
“Once activated, a Red Array Talisman can last at most half an hour before disappearing automatically. A Blue Array Talisman can last for six hours.”
“If someone who doesn’t understand arrays is trapped by a Blue Array Talisman, they would have to stay inside for half a day before they could escape.”
“In the sixth-rank star domain, can anyone break a Blue Array Talisman?” Billy asked.
“Not just the Blue Array Talisman; even the Green Array Talisman is difficult to break. There are very few people in the entire sixth-rank star domain who can do it. At least, I don’t know anyone who can break a Green Array Talisman,” Ben Muir shook his head.
“Good!” Billy nodded again. “Besides trapping opponents, does it have any other uses?”
“It does,” Ben Muir responded.
“All Array Talismans are offensive arrays. The power of a Blue Array Talisman is far greater than that of a Green Array Talisman. If trapped, unless one has Supreme Ancestry Realm cultivation, survival is unlikely.”
“Oh?” Billy’s eyes lit up slightly. “What about the Green Array Talisman?”
“The power of a Green Array Talisman is slightly weaker but still significant,” Ben Muir continued.
“If trapped by a Green Array Talisman, anyone below mid-Holy Ancestry Realm cultivation is unlikely to survive. Even those at mid-Holy Ancestry Realm would face great danger.”
“Not bad!” Billy nodded and continued to ask, “If someone activates an Array Talisman in Heavenly Xuan Space to interfere with the Heavenly Xuan Array Compass, is there a way to counter it?”
“Sure!” Ben Muir nodded. “Just activate an Array Talisman of the same or higher level to interfere with the opponent’s formation line, rendering their Array Talisman ineffective.”
“Similarly, if someone is trapped by an Array Talisman, activating an Array Talisman of the same or higher level can also break the array.”
“Understood!” Billy nodded slightly.
After a brief pause, he looked at Ben Muir and said, “Prepare some materials needed for making Green Array Talismans. I’ll make a batch for you.”
“Thank you, Mr. Billy!” Ben Muir’s eyes lit up upon hearing this.
“You’re welcome!” Billy waved his hand. “Go ahead!”
In the following days, Billy stayed at the Array Alliance and made nearly a hundred Green Array Talismans in five or six days.
He gave half of them to Ben Muir and distributed the other half among Opal and Harleen’s group.
With Green Array Talismans on them, they could handle most situations unless they encountered opponents above mid-Holy Ancestry Realm.
Additionally, Ben Muir gave Billy a storage ring filled with materials for making Blue Array Talismans. When Billy’s cultivation improved, these materials would come in handy.
One morning, as Billy was preparing to bid farewell to Ben Muir with his group, his sound transmission stone activated.
Taking out the sound transmission stone and listening to the message, Billy’s eyes narrowed slightly.
“Boss, whose message is it? What’s going on?” Azure Dragon asked.
“It’s from The Scholar,” Billy replied. “People from Sky Realm are looking for me all over Radiant City!”
“Sky Realm?” Everyone was slightly surprised.
“Yes,” Billy nodded. “Let’s go back and talk!”
With that, he bid farewell to Ben Muir and left with his group.
A few hours later, they returned to Radiant City. After circling around the city once, they went back to their inn.
“Boss, should I take Azure Dragon and the others out to gather information?” Casey asked Billy.
“No need,” Billy waved his hand. “We’ll wait here; they’ll come to us!”
The reason he had led his group around the city was clearly to expose their whereabouts intentionally.
“Alright!” Casey responded.
As Billy had predicted, within half an hour, a powerful aura swept over from afar and enveloped the entire inn.
“Luca Ryan from Sky Realm is here to visit Mr. Billy. Please grant me an audience!” An old man’s voice soon reached their courtyard.
“Let’s go up and see,” Billy said and led his group into the air.
Soon they saw four or five dozen people standing in mid-air not far away.
The leader was the old man who had spoken earlier. His cultivation was strong-sixth-rank Holy Ancestry Realm.
Besides him, there were two fourth-rank Holy Ancestry Realm cultivators and four early-stage Holy Ancestry Realm cultivators in the group; the rest were at Entering Ancestry Realm or below.
“What do you want?” Billy asked Luca Ryan, the old man leading them.
“I’ve long heard of you and wanted to meet you, Mr. Billy. I’m here today to pay my respects,” Luca Ryan said with cupped hands.
“You’ve seen me now,” Billy waved his hand dismissively. “If there’s nothing else, you can leave.”
