Seeing that she had admitted her mistake, Father Ying’s tone turned gentler even though it was obvious that he was still furious.
“Xiaoxiao, I know that you don’t want to go on a blind date. However, you shouldn’t just get a random person to pretend to be your boyfriend. When Steven Song told me about this today, I was so ashamed!”

Xiaoxiao murmured in her heart. However, she dared not speak out for fear of being scolded directly.
She lowered her head and remained silent, an appropriate attitude for admitting to a mistake.
Father Ying’s heart turned tender as he sighed. “Steven Song had always been a smart and obedient child. He is truly outstanding. You are of a similar age to him and thus should get along well. Why don’t you like him?”
“Dad…” Xiaoxiao lifted her head and said with a determined attitude, “Regardless of how outstanding the other party might be, I don’t have an obligation to like him. I really don’t like him.”
“Darling, marriage is not something to be maintained merely by love. Other than a good relationship, family status matters too.”
Father Ying was giving sincere advice but Ying Xiaoxiao dismissed the idea. “Daddy, for my desired marriage, my hubby and I must be deeply in love. Anything else is additional criteria which I don’t care much about.”
“You…” Father Ying was dissatisfied with his daughter’s response. However, he doesn’t want to argue with her and hurt their relationship.
Regardless, he had given her his heartfelt advice. He couldn’t force her if she refused to listen.
Hence, Father Ying sighed. “Whatever. You will regret your decision eventually.”
“I won’t, Daddy.” Ying Xiaoxiao was certain.
“I hope you’re right.” Father Ying decided to not worry so much about her. He would let her be since she would naturally make her own life path.
Ying Xiaoxiao curved her lips in secret satisfaction at having convinced her father so easily.
“Xiaoxiao…” Father Ying called out.
“What’s up?” Ying Xiaoxiao raised up her head to look at him.
“That child Steven Song wanted me to tell you that he will be waiting for you, no matter how long it takes.”
Ying Xiaoxiao’s gaze turned cold. “What exactly does Steven Song mean? Wait for me? Don’t be ridiculous! Didn’t he abandon me two years ago?
“Waiting for me? Go to hell!”
“To be honest, Darling, I think that Steven Song is a great match for you! You can date first. If you are really incompatiable with him, you can just break up.”
Even though he didn’t want to be worried about his daughter’s marriage, he was inevitably concerned.
“Dad!” Placing down her chopsticks, Ying Xiaoxiao glared at him with an unhappy gaze. “Don’t mention Steven Song in front of me. Once you mention him, I feel disgusted and want to vomit.”
After speaking, she made vomiting noises to show her attitude.

Returning to the hospital, Rosiley walked into the room and discovered that Sachin was missing.
“Did he already leave?”
She frowned before walking to the front of the bed. Seeing the pale face of her father, she fell into deep thought.
After a long while, she turned to leave.
She could no longer allow her father to stay there and would rush to send him to the United States. On the one hand, he could obtain better treatment. On the other hand, he could stay away from trouble and be safe there.
She walked to the head doctor’s office and took a deep breath. When she was about to knock on the door, it swung open.
She lifted her head in astonishment. “Sachin, why are you still around?”
Yes, the man who had opened the door was Sachin, whom she thought had left.
Sachin’s brows were raised as his lips curved into a smile. “Same as you.”
