“Did someone tamper with this camera?” Calvin thought as he watched the video the second time to make sure he didn’t miss anything.
“The person has gotten into a lot of trouble that he can handle” he said and came out of the room and went straight to the kitchen.
When he reached there, he entered the kitchen and closed the door. He then went to the refrigerator and pulled out something from the body.
“Gotcha” he muttered and left.
He went back to the study room and put the flash drive he got from the kitchen into the laptop.
The video started playing showing the culprit who made his sweet wife fall.
Calvin stared at the laptop with a dangerous glint, he was giving out a murderous aura that could suffocate anyone close to him.
And that was exactly how Edward fell when he opened the door and saw him.
“Uhmm, Cal.. Boss” Edward stuttered.
He was confused on what to call him now so he just stuttered.
“Move” Calvin ordered calmly and Edward just did as he was instructed.
Calvin then went into the room, Kyla was on the bed scrolling through her phone when he was in.
She looked up from her phone thinking that it was Edward but she froze when she saw Calvin.
Calvin just stood there staring at her and she wished that she would just disappear.
“Boss, is there any problem?” Edward asked.
“Yes, I need you to take your girlfriend to my favourite room” Calvin replied.
“Please, can we talk outside, Boss” Edward said.
“There will be no need for that, take her there now” Calvin replied.
“I am not taking her there myself because she is your girlfriend, so Ed, don’t disappoint me” he added and left.
Kyla got out of the bed and went to Edward who was trying to not pull out his hair.
“What the hell is happening Ed?” She asked but he ignored her and was pacing around the room.
“Ed !” She yelled and touched him but Edward pushed her hands away.
He then turned to her and said, “you brought it upon yourself so I am not going to be sorry for you”.
“What are you talking about?” Kyla asked.
“Don’t worry, you will find out very soon” Edward replied and dragged her out of the room.
Kyla kept screaming like a lunatic as Edward dragged out of the house.
When they were outside, he released her and just stood there, “Ed, have you lost your mind?” She asked, standing at his front.
“Where are you dragging? What’s going on?”
“Get out of the way,” Edward replied.
“Huh?” Kyla didn’t get what he was saying until she heard a car horn and shifted away.
The car stopped where they were standing and the driver got out and gave Edward the keys.
“Get in,” he ordered.
“Where are you taking me, Ed, please tell me” she pleaded.
“I told you that you will see when we get there, are you getting it or should I do it myself?”
She then got into the car and Edward drove away, he made sure that Kyla was sitting in a way where she couldn’t see where they were going.
When they reached the LEO official building, Edward drove into the garage and got out of the car and called Calvin.
Calvin was in his room discussing with Dorothy when Edward called.
“Good, just wait a little while, I am coming” Calvin replied and the call ended.
“You are going out right?” Dorothy asked.
“Yes, I have to. It is very important” he replied.
“Okay then, you can go but make sure you come back early” Dorothy said, smiling at him.
“I will, my Doll” he replied and ruffled her hair.
“Bye” he added and left the room, he was smiling when he was in the room but immediately he came outside.
His expression became serious and deadly and no one talked to him till he left the house and entered his car and drove away.
Dorothy remembered that she had not seen Mia since she left the amusement park so she came out of her room and went to her own room.
She reached there but there was no one there and the room looked tidy.
She then went to the kitchen and was surprised to see that the floor was being renovated.
Mr Jack, the butler was there and he was directing the worker what to do.
“What is going on here, Mr Jack?” Dorothy asked.
“Oh.. Madam, we are just removing the old tiles and putting in new ones,” he replied.
“Why?”
“Boss told us to do it and the new one doesn’t get slippery when wet, it is a new design,” he replied.
“Oh.. is that so, by the way where is Mia?” She asked.
“She has left for school” the butler replied.
“And she couldn’t even check up on me before leaving,” Dorothy muttered.
“Did you say something, Madam?” The butler asked.
“No, I wasn’t talking to you, continue what you were doing” she said and left the kitchen.
She went back to her room and texted Mia then lay down on the bed again.
She was bored so she took her sketchbook and started drawing on it when someone knocked at her door.
“Come in” she said and then opened and Kelly came in.
“Hi My Doll” she greeted.
“Hi Kelly, how are you doing?” Dorothy asked.
“I am doing great, I heard what happened to you, we wanted to see you but Calvin won’t allow us” Kelly replied.
“We?” Dorothy inquired.
“Yes, Aunt Mia and I” she replied.
“Oh.. is that so, I actually thought that she left for school without seeing me”.
“No, we begged Calvin to let us see you but he bluntly refused” she said.
“I am so happy that you are okay now because I really need your help,” she added.
“What do you need?” Dorothy asked.
“Uhm, never mind I will do it myself” she replied and wanted to walk away but Dorothy stopped her.
“What do you want, Kelly?”
“Well I would like you to design a dress for me” Kelly replied.
“Sure, what kind of dress?” Dorothy asked.
“I don’t really know but I want something nice and classic,” she replied.
“Okay, leave it to me, I will make you beautiful” Dorothy said.
“When will you be able to sew it?” Kelly asked.
“It will be ready this time tomorrow” Dorothy replied.
“Tomorrow?, wow you are really fast in it” she commented.
“I was actually drawing some sketch and I have the perfect design for you”
“Really?” Kelly asked and Dorothy nodded in affirmation.
“Thank you so much Doll, can I see the sketch?”
“No, you only get to see the dress when it is ready” Dorothy replied, “and by the way what colour do you want?”
“You are the designer so find a colour that will be perfect for me” Kelly replied.
“Yes ma, the dress will be so perfect” Dorothy said.
“Okay then Doll, I will be going out now so that my brother won’t see me here when he comes back” she said.
“He is not home? Where did he go?” Dorothy asked.
“I don’t know but he looked really angry when he was going out,” Kelly replied.
“Do you know why he was angry, Doll?” She asked.
“No, I don’t,” Dorothy replied.
“Then I guess that it is business related, anyway I am going out now, Doll take care” Kelly said.
“Take care, Kelly” Dorothy replied and she left the room.
When she left, Dorothy took out her phone and called Calvin but he wasn’t answering.
Meanwhile at LEO’s group official building, Calvin was seated at a chair staring down at Kyla who was sitting on the floor.
“Do you know where you are?” He asked her.
“No sir, I don’t” Kyla replied, trying to hide her fear but she couldn’t.
“You are in my favourite room, now look around and tell me how it is?”.
Kyla looked around the room making sure that she didn’t look at where he was seated.
“So?”
“It is beautiful, Sir,” she replied.
“Just beautiful?” Calvin asked.
“No, sir it is beautiful, nice and classic and everything good” she replied quickly.
“No one comes into this room, goes out, did your boyfriend tell you that?” He asked and she stared at him with shock.
“I guess he didn’t judge by your expression, anyways I just wanted you to know so take your time” Calvin said, stood up from the chair and went out of the room.
“Boss” Edward greeted, when he came out of the room.
“You don’t want to ask me any questions?”
“There is no need for that because I know that she must have done something terrible for her to be here” Edward replied.
“Yeah, she did and I won’t spare her”
“Don’t Boss, in fact I will help you in it if you don’t mind” he said.
