“Mr. Billy, are you sure that person told you to go to Radiant City to find someone at the Blade and Sword Sect?” Foster Cooper asked after a pause.
“That’s what she told us!” Billy nodded slightly. “Is there a problem?”
“Mr. Billy, is the person you met from a thousand years ago?” Maisy Cooper responded. “The Blade and Sword Sect disappeared a thousand years ago during the same turmoil that wiped out the Domain Lord’s Mansion!”
“What?!” everyone exclaimed simultaneously.
“A thousand years ago, the Blade and Sword Sect had a close relationship with the Domain Lord’s Mansion. When the turmoil occurred, the Blade and Sword Sect joined the battle but couldn’t prevent the fall of the Domain Lord’s Mansion,” Maisy Cooper added.
“Miss Cooper, what exactly happened a thousand years ago?” White Tiger asked.
“We don’t know the specifics,” Maisy Cooper shook her head.
“The most popular legend is that internal strife within the Domain Lord’s Mansion led to its downfall.”
“Only this reason can barely explain why such a powerful Domain Lord’s Mansion would decline.”
“Was the Domain Lord’s Mansion very strong back then?” White Tiger pressed.
“Very strong!” Foster Cooper replied.
“Although we don’t know exactly how strong, one thing is certain: the Domain Lord’s Mansion definitely had Supreme Ancestry Realm experts!”
“Ever since the fall of the Domain Lord’s Mansion, this sixth-tier star domain has never seen such powerful experts again!”
“Supreme Ancestry Realm?!” White Tiger and the others exclaimed again.
“Yes!” Foster Cooper continued, looking at Billy. “There’s something else you might not know, Mr. Billy.”
“Asura City and the other three top-tier forces began to rise about a thousand years ago. It’s rumored that the first core members of these four forces were from the Domain Lord’s Mansion!”
“What?!” everyone was stunned again.
“Mr. Billy, who exactly did that person ask you to find at the Blade and Sword Sect?” Lance Cooper asked Billy.
“A person called The Scholar,” Billy replied.
“The Scholar?” Lance Cooper was puzzled, clearly unfamiliar with the name.
“Grandfather, have you heard of this name?” Maisy Cooper asked her grandfather.
“I haven’t heard of it either,” Foster Cooper shook his head and added.
“Mr. Billy, if you really want to find someone in Radiant City, you can inquire with someone called The Shadow Judge.”
“The Shadow Judge?” Billy was puzzled. “Who is he?”
“I’m not sure who he is exactly,” Foster Cooper shook his head again.
“But it’s said that he’s an all-knowing person in this sixth-tier star domain. Many people go to Radiant City specifically to seek information from him.”
“It’s said that as long as the reward is sufficient, no one leaves disappointed.”
“Really?” Judge couldn’t help but ask.
“This is well-known in Radiant City; it shouldn’t be false,” Foster Cooper nodded.
“Elder Foster, what do you mean by sufficient reward? Does it require a lot of spirit stones?” Stout asked with a pout.
“I’m not sure, but it probably isn’t just spirit stones,” Foster Cooper shook his head.
“Thank you, Elder Foster!” Billy replied and continued.
“Elder Foster, since Asura City’s young lord died in Celestial Origin City, they won’t let this go easily.”
“I will set up a protective array around this courtyard in the next few days. If people from Asura City come, you can activate the array.”
“As long as they don’t have Holy Ancestry Realm experts, it’s unlikely they can break through by force. Even if it’s an early-stage Holy Ancestry Realm expert, it will take some time to break the array.”
“You can then send me a message in time, and I should be able to return from Radiant City in time.”
“Boss, if a Holy Ancestry Realm expert comes, will your return make any difference?” Stout asked inappropriately.
Before he could finish speaking, Ivy slapped him on the back of his head. “You talk too much!”
“I was just asking!” Stout rubbed his head.
“What’s there to ask? We’ll kill as many as come!” Felicia replied.
“Thank you, Mr. Billy!” Foster Cooper and his grandchildren bowed to Billy simultaneously.
What Billy just mentioned was exactly what they were worried about!
The death of Asura City’s young lord was no small matter for Asura City; they would definitely send people to Celestial Origin City.
For the Cooper family, although they passed today’s hurdle, what about next time?
Next time Asura City sends people, they will definitely be stronger than Rowan Wynn, leaving the Cooper family with even less chance of resistance!
Now hearing Billy’s words, their hearts were half at ease, although they still didn’t know if Billy could contend with Holy Ancestry Realm experts.
“It’s a small matter, no need to mention it!” Billy smiled.
“Also, spread the word that Asura City’s young lord was killed by me. Let them come for revenge if they want!”
“Thank you again for your great kindness, Mr. Billy!” Foster Cooper expressed his gratitude again.
“Elder Foster, no need to be so polite!” Billy smiled. “Miss Cooper has helped us a lot before!”
“Thank you, Mr. Billy!” Maisy Cooper also bowed gratefully to Billy.
In the following days, Casey and others stayed at the Cooper family courtyard to cultivate in peace while Billy set up a high-level offensive and defensive array around the courtyard with Opal and Ivy’s help.
As Billy said, if the opponent doesn’t understand arrays and relies solely on brute force to break it, even an early-stage Holy Ancestry Realm expert would find it difficult.
Early one morning, after bidding farewell to the Cooper family, Billy and his group flew towards the teleportation channel in the suburbs.
Next stop: Radiant City!
By noon, their figures appeared outside the main gate of Radiant City.
Over the past few days, Maisy Cooper had given everyone a comprehensive introduction to what she knew about Radiant City.
According to her, Radiant City no longer had a Domain Lord’s Mansion or even a City Lord’s Mansion; it was similar to the City of the Unclaimed in a fifth-tier star domain.
However, despite not having a City Lord’s Mansion, as the largest city in a sixth-tier star domain, it was full of hidden talents and experts.
“This city is really huge!” White Tiger couldn’t help but remark after entering the city.
The city was indeed enormous, definitely the largest city they had encountered on their journey so far. It was estimated to be at least twice as large as the City of the Unclaimed.
“Boss, should we find a place to stay first?” Casey looked at Billy and asked.
“Yes,” Billy nodded. “Find somewhere a bit more secluded.”
“Alright,” Casey responded.
About half an hour later, they rented an inn near the outskirts and settled down temporarily.
“Boss, what’s the plan? Should we go out and gather information about The Shadow Judge first?” After a quick wash-up, everyone gathered in the courtyard again.
“No rush,” Billy said. “First, let’s study the Nine Dragons Cauldron!”
