“It was nothing, Miss Frost, no need to thank me!” Billy smiled again.
“Thank you, Mr. Billy!” Asher Frost bowed along with the members of the Alchemists’ Alliance.
Asher had already heard about Billy from his daughter. Initially, he wasn’t very supportive of his daughter’s actions. He didn’t want the Alchemists’ Alliance to get too involved with Billy. After all, the matter of the Nine Dragons Cauldron was well-known throughout the mid-tier star domain. He knew that the Alchemists’ Alliance wasn’t a super sect in this domain and never intended to claim the Nine Dragons Cauldron for themselves. Therefore, he didn’t want his daughter to get too close to Billy, fearing they might get entangled in trouble.
However, Juliana Frost was always very determined in her actions, and he couldn’t stop her even if he wanted to. Eventually, he stopped trying to intervene. When Juliana wanted to give the high-tier Spirit Essence Pill formula to Billy, he hesitated but ultimately supported his daughter against opposition within the sect. He did this purely for his daughter’s sake, not expecting anything in return from Billy.
To his surprise, one day Billy would become a great benefactor to the entire Alchemists’ Alliance!
“No need to be so formal, Leader!” Billy replied with a smile. “Miss Frost is our friend!”
“Thank you!” Asher Frost said again and made a gesture of invitation. “Mr. Billy, shall we talk inside?”
“Sure!” Billy nodded.
Five minutes later, everyone was seated inside a grand hall.
“Once again, thank you, Mr. Billy, for your great kindness to the Alchemists’ Alliance!” Asher Frost began.
“Leader, there’s no need for such formality. Miss Frost has helped us a lot before!” Billy smiled and then changed the subject. “By the way, Leader, I have something to ask you.”
“Please go ahead, Mr. Billy,” Asher Frost responded.
“Do you know the current situation of the Cooper family?” Billy asked.
“The Cooper family?” Asher Frost was slightly taken aback before replying. “Mr. Billy, I’m sorry, but I don’t know much about that.”
“Mr. Billy, are you planning to visit the Cooper family?” Juliana Frost asked.
“Yes, I am,” Billy nodded. “Miss Cooper was my first friend in this mid-tier star domain and helped me a lot. I want to see how she’s doing now.”
“I see!” Asher Frost nodded and continued. “Mr. Billy, how about this? You stay in Pill City for a few days while I send someone to Celestial Origin City to gather information?”
“The Cooper family is in Celestial Origin City?” Casey asked after a brief pause. “Is it far from Pill City?”
“Although both Pill City and Celestial Origin City are in the east domain, Celestial Origin City is closer to the central region. There is quite a distance between the two cities,” Asher Frost explained. “Moreover, there is no direct teleportation channel from Pill City to Celestial Origin City. You need to take a starship and transfer twice, which takes about seven or eight days one way.”
“Thank you for your trouble, Leader,” Billy said after some thought.
“No trouble at all, Mr. Billy,” Asher Frost replied.
“Leader, do you know anything about Asura City?” Harleen asked.
“Not much,” Asher Frost paused before sharing what little information he had with Billy and his group.
The next day, Billy and his group returned to the Alchemists’ Alliance courtyard. The high-tier Spirit Essence Pills that the Alchemists’ Alliance was refining for Asura City had reached the stage of blood infusion.
After Billy added a few drops of Essence Blood into the alchemy furnace, a batch of high-purity high-tier Spirit Essence Pills was successfully produced.
Initially, Asher Frost planned to give all the pills to Billy, but Billy politely declined and only took half, enough for each person in their group to have two pills.
Seeing that Billy had made up his mind, Asher Frost didn’t insist further.
In the following days, Billy and his group stayed in the Alchemists’ Alliance courtyard to cultivate. They had plenty of cultivation resources in their storage rings, and apart from Billy, Opal, and Harleen, none of them needed high-tier Spirit Essence Pills yet.
Time flew by quickly, and seven or eight days passed in the blink of an eye. Everyone made significant breakthroughs.
Harleen, Amber, and Ivy each refined a high-tier Spirit Essence Pill and subsequently faced Thunder Tribulation, successfully advancing to the Breaking Emptiness Realm.
The energy from the high-tier Spirit Essence Pill was astonishing; each of them advanced three levels after refining one pill. Amber reached third-rank Breaking Emptiness Realm, Harleen advanced to second-rank, and Ivy reached first-rank Breaking Emptiness Realm.
Casey and Stout also made good progress, reaching half-step Breaking Emptiness Realm with the help of the high-tier Spirit Essence Pill, just one step away from breaking through.
Azure Dragon, Azure Fang, Ian Blade, and Bob advanced from fourth-rank Perfection Emptiness Realm to sixth-rank with the help of high-tier beast cores. Felicia, White Tiger, and Vermilion Bird advanced to fourth-rank Perfection Emptiness Realm.
Night Orchid, Frostblade, Judge, Soul Chaser, and Alex Long all advanced two levels over several days and now stood at third-rank Perfection Emptiness Realm.
Opal’s breakthrough was also impressive; she advanced directly to fourth-rank Breaking Emptiness Realm with the help of the high-tier Spirit Essence Pill.
As for Billy himself, with the help of his bloodline power and after refining several high-tier beast cores and one high-tier Spirit Essence Pill, he also faced Thunder Tribulation. The process went smoothly without any surprises, and he broke through to third-rank Breaking Emptiness Realm.
Notably, since White Feather emerged from the Nine Dragons Cauldron some time ago, its soul recovery had accelerated significantly. Its combat power increased rapidly without needing cultivation resources as if its body was self-repairing.
As for Purple Spirit, she had almost merged with Billy’s body; as long as Billy’s cultivation improved, she would also grow stronger.
Over seven or eight days, everyone’s combat power had undoubtedly increased significantly.
One morning after finishing their cultivation session, Billy and his group were resting on the lawn in the courtyard.
“Mr. Billy!” Juliana Frost walked in just as they started chatting.
“Hello, Miss Frost!” Billy greeted her with a smile.
“Mr. Billy, our people who went to Celestial Origin City have sent back information,” Juliana Frost said as she approached. “The Cooper family’s situation is quite difficult.”
“What exactly is going on?” Harleen asked.
“Our people found out that a few days ago, Yama from Asura City led people to Celestial Origin City,” Juliana Frost explained. “They demanded that the Cooper family submit and wanted to take Miss Cooper away. The Cooper family refused, leading to a conflict with casualties on both sides.”
“The city lord of Celestial Origin City is the second-in-command of the Cooper family. He died in battle along with several members of their Elder Pavilion,” she continued. “However, Asura City’s losses were heavier; they underestimated the Cooper family’s strength. It’s said that Yama from Asura City also perished in Celestial Origin City.”
“The Cooper family must be quite strong to kill a mid-stage Entering Ancestry Realm expert,” Judge commented.
“The major families in a sixth-level star domain are indeed powerful-much stronger than our Alchemists’ Alliance,” Juliana Frost nodded. “Killing a mid-stage Entering Ancestry Realm expert isn’t too difficult for them.”
“But since they killed Yama from Asura City, Asura City won’t let this go easily,” she added. “Our people found out that Asura City’s young city lord might personally go to Celestial Origin City.”
“If he goes, he’ll likely be accompanied by experts at late-stage Entering Ancestry Realm or even Saint realm,” she warned. “If that’s true, the Cooper family will have a hard time resisting.”
