“Yes!” Isabell smiled faintly and looked at everyone. “Do you all remember the black dragon in Black Dragon City?”
“Of course, why?” Judge asked.
“Have you ever wondered why our city is named Phoenix City?” Isabell continued with a smile.
“Hmm?” Hearing her words, Billy and the others understood her meaning.
“City Lord, do you mean there is a phoenix in Phoenix City?” Felicia asked.
“True Divine Dragons and phoenixes only exist in high-level star domains!” Isabell nodded slightly.
“So strictly speaking, the phoenix in Phoenix City isn’t a true phoenix. It’s more like a relative, similar to the relationship between a dragon and a flood dragon.”
“Really?” Soul Chaser couldn’t help but ask, “Then why not awaken it today?”
“You want to know why we didn’t awaken it today, right?” Isabell smiled. “Because its true form isn’t in Phoenix City. I don’t know where it went!”
“Even if it were here, it wouldn’t be a match for someone at the mid-stage of the Entering Ancestry Realm. Heavenly City’s trump card is a good example!”
“Understood!” Soul Chaser and the others nodded simultaneously.
“However, it left an avatar in the City Lord’s Mansion!” Isabell added.
“City Lord, do you mean to use that avatar to help Opal and Amber temper their physiques?” Night Orchid asked.
“Exactly!” Isabell nodded and looked at Opal and Amber with a smile. “Of course, only if the two ladies are willing!”
“Willing, of course!” Before Opal and Amber could respond, Stout shouted. “Why wouldn’t we want such a good thing?”
Billy and the others: “…”
“Thank you, City Lord!” Amber looked at Isabell. “If that avatar helps us temper our physiques, will it disappear?”
“It should,” Isabell nodded.
“Then forget it!” Opal said. “That’s Phoenix City’s trump card. If it helps us…”
“No worries!” Isabell responded again.
“In the past, Phoenix City and the other three forces coexisted peacefully for years because we all had a trump card, so no one dared to act rashly.”
“But now, the other three cities have changed owners, and their trump cards are gone. They pose no threat to Phoenix City.”
“Moreover, if a strong person from a sixth-level star domain comes, even awakening that avatar won’t help. So keeping it doesn’t serve any practical purpose.”
“The City Lord’s kindness is appreciated, but…” Billy began.
“Mr. Billy, we owe Phoenix City a great debt of gratitude. Please don’t refuse this small favor. Consider it a token of our appreciation!” Isabell interrupted him.
“Alright then! It’s better to accept graciously!” Billy thought for a moment and responded.
“Thank you, City Lord!” Opal and Amber didn’t insist further.
“No need to be so polite!” Isabell replied. “Compared to your help to Phoenix City, this is nothing!”
After speaking, she turned to Billy. “Mr. Billy, why don’t you stay at the City Lord’s Mansion for a while? So I can consult you if needed?”
“Alright!” Billy nodded.
“Thank you!” Isabell said and then looked at Roselyn. “Roselyn, take Mr. Billy and his group to their quarters. I’ll take the two ladies to the back mountain later.”
“Okay!” Roselyn nodded.
Then, Billy and his group followed Roselyn towards the door.
For the next half month, Billy and his group stayed at the City Lord’s Mansion to cultivate, while Opal and Amber tempered their physiques in the back mountain.
During this period, Isabell occasionally sought out Billy to discuss her plans for the future of the fifth-level star domain.
Billy mostly went along with Isabell’s ideas but offered some suggestions regarding the construction of an academy.
Time passed quickly; twenty days flew by in the blink of an eye.
With ample cultivation resources, everyone’s cultivation levels improved significantly, most breaking through two levels.
Billy stepped into the half-step Breaking Emptiness Realm, just one step away from the true Breaking Emptiness Realm, ready for Thunder Tribulation at any moment.
Harleen advanced to the ninth-rank Perfection Emptiness Realm, Ivy broke through to the eighth-rank Perfection Emptiness Realm, and Casey and Stout reached the seventh-rank Perfection Emptiness Realm.
Notably, Vermilion Bird, White Tiger, Night Orchid, and Frostblade all faced their Perfection Emptiness Realm Thunder Tribulations and successfully overcame them.
Thus, everyone successfully entered the Perfection Emptiness Realm!
“Why aren’t Opal and Amber done yet? Could something have happened?” Stout wondered aloud one morning as they chatted.
“Stout, stop jinxing things! You better keep quiet!” Felicia glared at him.
“Hehe, I’m just worried about Opal!” Stout grinned.
“Look up there!” Alex Long suddenly shouted.
Hearing her words, everyone looked up simultaneously.
The once clear sky was now covered with dark clouds, dimming the light significantly.
Soon after, strong winds began to blow, thunder rumbled within thick clouds, signaling an impending storm.
“What’s going on?” Soul Chaser couldn’t help but ask.
“If I’m not mistaken, someone is about to undergo tribulation!” Harleen replied.
“Hmm?” Everyone was stunned.
“Could it be Opal and Amber?” Frostblade asked.
“It’s possible!” Harleen nodded.
“Let’s check the back mountain!” Billy said as he led everyone towards the back mountain.
He had guessed this possibility too!
Before they reached the back mountain, three deafening roars echoed through the void.
Following that, three bolts of lightning tore through the sky towards the mountain top with immense force.
Soon after, the void gradually calmed down; the clouds dispersed, revealing clear skies again.
“Opal!” Amber’s exclamation came from the mountain top.
“It really is Opal!” White Tiger shouted.
“Let’s go see!” Billy said as he quickly headed towards the mountain top with Casey and others following closely behind.
In a few blinks of an eye, they landed at the mountain top.
Looking ahead, they saw a large pit several hundred meters away with Opal curled up inside, her condition unknown.
Amber stood nearby, full of anxiety, wanting to check on Opal but hesitant to act rashly.
“Amber!” Billy walked over quickly.
He released his spiritual power to roughly check Opal’s condition and felt slightly relieved; at least her life wasn’t in danger.
“Billy Boy, you’re just in time! Check on Opal’s condition?” Amber called out loudly.
“Mr. Billy, don’t move her!” At that moment, Isabell and Finley arrived through the air.
“City Lord, Elder Finley!” Everyone greeted them.
“Don’t worry; Miss Fraley will be fine!” Finley assured them. “Her tribulation was a bit rushed this time, so there was a slight mishap!”
“Elder Finley, why did Opal suddenly undergo tribulation?” Billy asked.
