“So I asked Mr. Billy from the start, who killed Dalton Yancy,” Nyla Monroe continued.
“If he truly died at Mr. Billy’s hands, can I understand it as Mr. Billy using the Nine Dragons Cauldron?”
“Got it!” White Tiger replied, “You want my Boss to use the Nine Dragons Cauldron to take down the Netherworld Clan leader?”
“Exactly!” Nyla Monroe nodded.
“Then you’re probably out of luck!” Stout clicked his tongue, “The Nine Dragons Cauldron doesn’t even acknowledge my Boss, let alone be used to kill someone!”
Casey and the others: “…”
“Hmm?!” Nyla Monroe and the people from Heavenly Scent Pavilion were taken aback.
“Then Dalton Yancy was?” Mitchell Monroe couldn’t help but ask.
Billy didn’t respond to Mitchell Monroe but turned to Elder Saul, “What level of combat power does the Netherworld Clan leader have now?”
“I don’t know the exact level!” Elder Saul shook his head.
“A month ago, we went with twenty people, ten of whom were in the Breaking Emptiness Realm. The strongest was fifth-rank Breaking Emptiness Realm.”
“But even with our combined strength, we couldn’t last a single round against him!”
“That strong?” Ian Blade couldn’t help but ask.
Casey and the others also showed a hint of surprise on their faces.
“According to our estimates, at least seventh-rank Breaking Emptiness Realm or higher!” Mitchell Monroe added.
“Seventh-rank Breaking Emptiness Realm? That’s not much!” Stout clicked his tongue again and looked at Elder Saul, “Are there really many treasures in there?”
“Is that place far from the City of the Unclaimed?” Billy asked another question.
“With a fifth-rank starship, about ten days,” Mitchell Monroe responded.
“Let’s go take a look then!” Billy said after a brief thought.
For him, agreeing to take a look was because he had heard about the Netherworld Clan’s previous deeds, which were indeed inhumane.
Moreover, if the other party regained their strength and escaped, no one could guarantee they wouldn’t cause trouble in the fourth-rank star domain.
Great Green City and Bladesong City had many of his good friends and mentors; naturally, he didn’t want such an outcome.
“Mr. Billy, if you can’t activate the Nine Dragons Cauldron, I’m afraid…” Nyla Monroe began.
“No worries, I have my ways!” Billy interrupted her, “Time is of the essence; we’ll depart tomorrow. Grand Elder, please arrange a starship!”
“Alright!” Mitchell Monroe nodded.
After another brief conversation, Billy and his group returned to the Alchemists’ Alliance courtyard.
Early the next morning, the group boarded a fifth-rank starship and headed to the location marked on the map.
This time, Billy only brought Harleen, Ivy, Casey, and Stout. The others stayed at the Alchemists’ Alliance.
Additionally, Samuel from the Alchemists’ Alliance and Mitchell Monroe from Heavenly Scent Pavilion accompanied them.
Along the way, they encountered a large-scale cosmic storm, much stronger than the one they faced traveling from Great Blue City to the City of the Dead.
However, with Mitchell Monroe and Samuel, both Breaking Emptiness Realm experts, they managed to get through safely.
On the morning of the tenth day, the starship stopped in an unknown region.
Ahead of them floated a vast mountain range in the void, several kilometers away from the starship.
According to the map and Elder Saul from Heavenly Scent Pavilion, the Netherworld Clan leader was hiding in these mountains.
“If the Netherworld Clan leader’s body and soul have already recovered, why is he still hiding here?” Stout asked.
“Isn’t he supposed to enhance his cultivation by seizing other warriors’ bloodlines? Why not go directly to the City of the Unclaimed or other cities?”
“It’s simple!” Mitchell Monroe responded, “Because until his cultivation is fully restored, he doesn’t dare show himself!”
“In today’s fifth-rank star domain, although not as powerful as a thousand years ago, the superpowers are still formidable.”
“If they learn that the Netherworld Clan leader has revived, they will undoubtedly join forces again. At that point, he might truly be wiped out!”
“Understood!” Stout nodded.
“Let’s go take a look!” Billy said as he led his group out of the starship.
“Mr. Billy, the Netherworld Clan leader is at least seventh-rank Breaking Emptiness Realm; don’t be careless!” Samuel reminded him.
“Got it!” Billy nodded in response.
Then, the five of them flew towards the mountains ahead.
“Why is there such a strong smell of blood here?” After a while, as they reached above the mountains, Stout couldn’t help but comment.
“Tens of thousands died here; it’s no wonder there’s a bloody smell!” Ivy responded.
“True!” Stout nodded.
“The spiritual energy here is also very dense!” Harleen added.
“Indeed!” Casey nodded in agreement.
“Billy, the spiritual energy here is really dense!” At that moment, Purple Spirit’s voice echoed in Billy’s mind. “Can I absorb it later?”
“Of course!” Billy smiled faintly. “But wait a bit longer!”
“Alright!” Purple Spirit replied.
“Boss, can you sense their location?” Casey turned to Billy and asked.
“I can’t sense it!” Billy shook his head and looked at Mitchell Monroe. “Grand Elder, can you detect it?”
“I can’t either!” Mitchell Monroe shook his head.
“Let’s move forward cautiously!” Billy continued. “Everyone be careful!”
As they moved forward, the smell of blood grew stronger, as if they were walking through a sea of corpses and blood.
“Be careful!” After about ten minutes of walking forward, Mitchell Monroe warned.
Almost simultaneously with his warning, an overwhelming aura erupted from a valley ahead, enveloping the surrounding void in an instant.
Casey and Stout, being relatively weaker in cultivation, couldn’t help but shiver.
Immediately after, a figure rose from the valley.
“What is that?” Stout exclaimed upon seeing it clearly.
Billy and his group were also momentarily stunned.
It was a blood-soaked figure as if it had just emerged from a pool of blood. Blood dripped continuously from its body, making for a horrifying sight.
“Grand Elder, can you gauge his cultivation?” Samuel asked Mitchell Monroe.
“We underestimated him!” Mitchell Monroe’s face turned serious as he added, “Eighth-rank Breaking Emptiness Realm!”
Samuel gasped in shock.
“You all step back!” Billy said sternly.
“Mr. Billy, I’ll stay with you!” Mitchell Monroe replied.
“No need!” Billy shook his head. “I can handle this!”
“Hahaha…” At this moment, the Netherworld Clan leader opened his crimson mouth and laughed wildly. “I’ve finally found such an exquisite bloodline!!!”
“Boss, he wants your bloodline!” Stout said to Billy.
“And not just one but five people with special bloodlines! Heaven has truly favored me!” Before Stout could finish speaking, the Netherworld Clan leader added another sentence.
“… Even us four?” Stout’s mouth twitched slightly.
