Chapter 1602: Another Match

As soon as Prince George finished speaking, the Goryeo audience erupted in cheers, much like the Atraria audience had earlier.
“The second patient’s score is one hundred!”
Another round of cheers broke out, and the Goryeo audience’s faces were full of pride.
The Atraria audience’s mood grew increasingly somber.
Seung Kim’s face was full of confident satisfaction, while he subtly watched Leo’s expression.
“The third patient’s score is…” Prince George didn’t immediately announce the final score. Instead, he looked at Leo and Seung Kim with a surprised expression and repeated, “The third patient’s score is eighty-five!”
The entire venue erupted in chaos.
The Goryeo audience gaped in shock, thinking they had misheard.
The Atraria audience cheered once more.
Brennen and others standing nearby breathed a long sigh of relief, feeling as if they had narrowly escaped danger.
It was a close call. If Seung Kim had scored just one more point, the news of Atrarian traditional medicine losing to Korean Medicine would have spread worldwide. At that point, Atrarian traditional medicine wouldn’t have been able to survive internationally, let alone thrive.
Sophia’s tense expression finally relaxed, and she looked at Leo with tenderness in her eyes.
Martin laughed heartily, “I told you, there’s no way Goryeo could be a match for Leo!”
Seung Kim was stunned at first upon hearing the final result, then his face turned extremely grim.
“There must be a mistake. The third patient couldn’t have given me eighty-five points!” Seung Kim angrily approached Prince George’s assistant. “I demand a re-evaluation of the third patient’s score!”
The assistant hadn’t expected Seung Kim to reject the score and sternly said, “Dr. Kim, please calm down. The announced scores were verified by your representatives and are accurate.”
Seung Kim turned to look at the two representatives who had verified the scores backstage. Their faces were sullen, and they nodded at Seung Kim with reluctant acceptance.
Seung Kim stepped back, his face stormy, feeling utterly miserable. He cursed the third patient in his mind for being a deceitful fool.
“Damn it, we agreed on a perfect score, and you gave me eighty-five? This is a joke!”
At Seung Kim’s age, nothing was worse than a sudden fall after a moment of joy.
Seeing Seung Kim’s furious expression, Leo couldn’t help but laugh. “Dr. Kim, isn’t this rollercoaster feeling exhilarating?”
“Leo, don’t get too smug. This is just a tie; I haven’t lost yet!” Seung Kim retorted angrily, though his confidence was shaken.
Initially, he was certain he could defeat Leo, but now the situation seemed absurd to him.
Prince George’s assistant approached Prince George and other members of the Royal House of Albion and shrugged helplessly. “Your Highness, it’s still a tie. How should we proceed?”
The Royal House of Albion had only proposed two rounds because they believed two rounds would be enough to determine the winner.
Now that both rounds ended in a tie, they were at a loss. Should they come up with a new competition plan?
At this moment, a representative from the Goryeo Medical Research Association suddenly spoke up. “Your Highness, I have a solution for this situation!”
Hearing there was a solution, the members of the Royal House of Albion immediately looked at the Goryeo Kingdom representative.
The representative continued, “In both rounds of competition, we tested Needlework treatment skills. So I suggest that in the first round, whoever administered the needle first should be considered the winner of this competition!”
The venue erupted again, with Atraria spectators cursing the Goryeo Kingdom representative for being shameless.
Anyone could see that in the first round of competition, Leo administered needles without even feeling for acupoints, which was far superior to Seung Kim’s method.
Now Goryeo suggested that whoever administered the needle first should win. This was akin to saying whoever took the first step in a sprint would win.
Seung Kim looked appreciatively at the Goryeo Kingdom representative.
Just as Leo was about to object, someone suddenly ran up from backstage.
It was none other than the female patient Leo had treated earlier.
The woman was very emotional and ran directly to Prince George’s assistant, speaking rapidly.
After listening to her, the assistant looked quite surprised.
Prince George walked over and asked, “What did she say?”
The assistant quickly replied, “Your Highness, she said she regrets her earlier score for Dr. Leo and wants to change it to one hundred!”
Those nearby who heard this were all astonished.
They instinctively looked at the woman’s face and saw that her acne scars had almost completely disappeared.
Her previously frightening face now looked quite delicate and beautiful.
A woman’s love for beauty is natural, and her face is her most precious asset. It’s no wonder this female patient wanted to correct her previous score.
The woman approached Leo with an apologetic expression. “Dr. Leo, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have given you such a low score earlier. Please forgive me.”
Leo shook his head with a wry smile.
“I object!” Seung Kim’s face changed dramatically as he loudly said, “The scores have been confirmed and announced; they are final and cannot be changed!”
The Goryeo Kingdom representatives also voiced their objections in unison.
Brennen couldn’t help but sneer angrily. “Now you know it can’t be changed? When you made that shameless suggestion earlier, you were so confident!”
“Our representative’s suggestion was indeed inconsiderate,” Seung Kim said thick-skinnedly without blushing. He then looked at Leo. “Mr. Bloomer, given the current situation, why don’t we have another match to determine the winner?”
A tiebreaker was also what the Royal House of Albion wanted, so they all looked at Leo, waiting for his response.
“Fine, let’s have another match so you can lose fair and square!” Leo agreed with a cold smile.
Seeing Leo agree, Seung Kim secretly breathed a sigh of relief.
Prince George nodded to his assistant, who understood and stepped forward. “Since both parties agree to another match, we will use the same rules as the second round…”
“Something’s wrong!” The assistant’s words were interrupted by an urgent voice.
