The cutting silence and tense atmosphere made more than one uncomfortable. The two moguls stared at each other. She had asked him to see her people and he had refused. Nebraska made a line of her lips and slowly got up, analyzing his every move, yet her knees creaked. Enduring the pain, she approached where the alpha should be and stopped in front of him, raising his head.
Her smell betrayed calm, tranquility, not outburst as Hades imagined after his refusal.
-I just want to see them and return to their normal state-
-No- the alpha again denied.
-Why?- She tilted her head trying to reason with him.
-Are you aware of the state of your body? – His voice had lowered several tones -I would not take anyone in your condition to such a dangerous place-
-Alfa, I’m a pure-blood omega-
Hades did not understand the comment.
-Take me and you will understand-
Curiosity gnawed at him, what did she mean by that. He did not know much about omegas and less about pure blood as she said. They were quite rare and few spoke about themselves, they stayed in the shadows trying to go unnoticed. They would have something to make it so. Maybe this was the chance to find out.
-Do not leave my side, and it will only be a few minutes-
In the end he agreed, the wolf seemed to want to escape and run to where he kept the males. He saw her smile. Slightly, almost imperceptibly but sincerely.
-Thanks-
Nebraska turned to say goodbye to everyone and went behind Hades when her foot missed and she fell forward. The alpha responded thanks to his overdeveloped reflexes and wrapped one of his firm arms around her, lifting her off the ground and carrying her as he had done before.
-Rest in the meantime- he commented without looking at her. He did not seem very sure he was doing the right thing, he wanted to take her back to the mansion, but he knew that she could do something crazy to reunite with her people. He felt it inside him.
Nebraska held onto his neck with more confidence this time. This alpha didn’t seem so bad? He hadn’t assaulted her family and was caring for her like she was delicate, she would still have to wait for his true colors to come out. You couldn’t trust anyone, just yourself.
Liam, for his part, stayed with the other wolves watching his queen leave in the arms of that alpha who seemed to want to monopolize her, constantly mixing his scent with hers. He could only click his tongue and clench his fists until he bled.

Leoxi found the image in his eyes comical. His brother so intimate with a wolf, that was only in his dreams.
-Commander, what do you think is so funny?- The twin just shook his head and denied his companion’s question.
-Nothing, just that I remembered something-
Hades smelled something strange coming from his brother from afar, he knew something would plot or make fun of him. The brilliance of its orbs gave it away.
-And what does the queen say?- Leoxi bowed to the omega in respect when her brother helped her to get up on the ground.
-You smell just like him. No, similar-
-He’s my twin brother- the alpha stayed by herside with his hand on her back and making her lean against his body, the little rest had not helped her stability.
-I had business to attend to so I did not have the opportunity to go greet her. I am Leoxi, the Commander of the pack-
She nodded in response to the greeting, she was sure that by now she would know his name.
-The spots of my pack are here? Can you take me inside? – She pointed inside where she could only see lights and flashes.
Leoxi looked at his brother.
-She insisted and there is something interesting that I want to check-
His brother just lifted his shoulders and turned, leading the way into the large nave of cells, the vast majority occupied by wolves, some in their animal form, some in their human. The common factor, all of them with red eyes and chained.
Nebraska couldn’t make a good difference with just the light coming from the small windows and from the torches scattered throughout the ship.
-Take me into someone’s cell- she asked Leoxi.
He felt Hades’s hand curl around her arm.
-That was not what we had agreed to, you will not enter any of the cells-
-Then you can hold it, I can’t do anything from here- she removed his hand pushing it down- Just look-
Hades clenched his fist and looked at his twin.
-Guards- two more wolves appeared running- Hold him- he pointed to the prisoner of the cell he was opening, more than six feet high, with what must have been a good musculature, now consumed by his own body trying to survive.
The two guards entered and grabbed the prisoner’s neck and secured his hands. He began to growl and white phlegm dripped from his lips.
Nebraska entered the cell guided by Leoxi.
-Leave me here- she indicated a few meters- I will walk the rest, he can get more upset-
Reluctantly the wolf left her and joined Hades at the entrance, guard up, ready to attack if need be.
-Are you sure of this?-
-No- his brother looked annoyed.
Nebraska walked and stopped in front of the man who tried to assault her. The two soldiers tensed their arms to stop their movements and even the brothers had broken their posture. For her part, she was unfazed.
-Shhhhh- she released in a low voice raising her arms and bringing his hands to the cheeks of the man who as soon as he felt his contact stopped in his tracks- That’s it, good boy-
From the body of the omega, for a moment a soft and sweet aroma began to come out that spread throughout the ship.
-Quiet, come back with me, I’m here, everything will be fine- each word dragged her fixing on the man.
The tormenting noise of growls and howls in that place gradually stopped. The prisoner fell forward and they could only see his eyes return to their natural green before losing consciousness.
Those present were shocked.
Nebraska staggered and her legs eventually failed exhausted. His body was held by Hades before falling to the ground.
-What did you do?- He looked more than surprised.
-What only omegas can do, awaken the wolves from madness-
