MAVERICK
His thighs widened as he sat at the edge of the bed while I was on my knees, naked under his mercy.
He pushed my head down until the tip of his cock had reached my throat. I’d gone down, deep-throating him many times, yet I hadn’t adjusted fully to the size of his cock.
Then he pulled it out of my mouth. I released a gasp as I struggled to breathe. Then I sucked him again, holding his base, stroking him firmly.
“Fuck. Give me your pussy,” he commanded, but I shook my head and looked at him in the eye as I sucked him, bobbing my head up and down.
Watching him so turned on, eyes filled with excitement and admiration while he was holding onto the last thread of his self-control, turned me on, too- it throbbed my clit, puckered my nipples, and made me soaking wet.
With my body buzzing with so much pleasure rushing through me, I pushed myself to its limit. I flattened my tongue, opened my mouth, and pulled him all in. Then I drew back, pushing in and out repeatedly.
His grip tightened around my hair, pushing me down, and then the muscles in his thighs clenched, and his groan grew louder.
I slipped my hand between my thighs and began rubbing my fingers against my soaking fold. Then I pressed them against my clit, moving in circles. I was so sensitive, my body shuddered, and my skin was on fire.
“Are you fingering yourself, baby?” His voice was deep and husky.
I nodded my head with a moan.
“Are you wet? Do you like it?”
I nodded and moaned again.
“Fuck, you’re fucking hot.” He grunted.
“Do you want to come?”
This time, I ignored him. Instead, I quickened my strokes and sucking and slid a finger into my heat. It didn’t take long. He began cursing and stilled. His dick thickened in my mouth until it jerked, and his hot release spilled into my throat.

I visited Nana in the hospital. The doctor said she could be released tomorrow.
“Why don’t you just come with us so I don’t have to travel back and forth? I can also take care of you. Just for a couple of days, Nana. You would like it there. The backyard is big and beautiful, and he has horses.”
“What do I do with horses?”
I rolled my eyes. “Why are you like this? You’re making everything hard for me. What is so hard of accepting that you need my help?”
“It’s not like that, Ricky.”
“Then what is it? I really don’t get you. If you’re worried about Lake, don’t be. In fact he suggested that you should come with us and hire a private nurse.”
“You have to be selfish sometimes and think about your happiness and relationship.”
“Jeez, Nana. I’m happy, and my relationship with Lake is pretty good. What doesn’t make me happy is you are there alone, and I couldn’t sleep well at night knowing you might miss your medicine.”
“I can take care of myself if you are worried about me. Just hire a nurse to come and check me every day for ten minutes.”
“Ten minutes?” I snorted. “How does it work? She would just say hello and leave?”
“Don’t be ridiculous.”
“You’re a pain in the ass.”
Someone knocked on the door and caught our attention.
“Great. Are you here to convince me to come with you? Don’t waste your breath, son. I already agreed with a private nurse.”
I smiled at Lake with a bouquet of flowers, smiling at Nana. “Don’t be so quick to fall on it. She said for ten minutes every day.”
Lake chuckled. “I’m not paying a nurse to visit you for ten minutes. Five hours at least.”
“You, too, are ridiculous.”
“That’s why we’re perfect, Mrs. Bates.” He sat on the bed, taking my grandma’s hand. “I want to take care of you, even not personally. You choose between a private nurse or a housekeeper. A housekeeper is permanent until she resigns.”
“There’s nothing much to do. I can get a pet dog.”
I blew a breath and crossed my arms over my chest.
“Relax.” Lake gripped my shoulder. “A housekeeper and a dog then.”
“A private nurse for a month.”
“Most people would be thrilled just to sit down and relax with a cup of tea. You, on the other hand, are making everything difficult for us and yourself.”
My grandmother didn’t look impressed. “Just do whatever you want and get out of here. I can’t breathe whenever you visit me and force me to agree on things I don’t want to.”
“Nana.”
“Shoo shoo. Go away.” She gestured with her hand. “Both of you. You’re making me sicker.”
“You have to be a pain in the ass,” I said as I stood up to kiss her on the cheek.
I suddenly felt dizzy. It was good that I managed to hold on to the bed rail.
“Hey. Are you okay?” I felt Lake’s hand on my back.
“Yeah.” I squeezed my eyes for a second before I glared at Nana. “You see what you did to me? You’re stressing me out.”
“Take her away from me, Lake.”
“We’ll be here tomorrow, Nana.”
“You should take a rest.”
I shook my head in annoyance as we got out of her room.
Lake didn’t let go of me. “We’re in the hospital. We should see a doctor.”
My head snapped at him. “No. I hate needles. I want to get out of here and drink coffee.”
“Coffee, then.”
“And Cannoli.”
Lake tried to hide his smile, but I saw it.
“Why are you smiling? Nana made me angry and hungry.”
“We should see a doctor.”
“Why?” I stopped before the elevator and grabbed him on the elbow. “Do I look like sick?”
He stared at my face for a while. “You look beautiful. Maybe we’re expecting.”
I almost choked on my saliva and words and stared at him in shock. “What?”
“Well, we never stop fucking. It’s not impossible.”
“You’re unbelievable.” The elevator slid open. I still had much to say to him, but the hospital staff and others were leaving. I held onto my thoughts as we entered the elevator. Homer followed us.
I was still pissed off at him. I took my pills regularly, and it was impossible for me to get pregnant. With my family situation and threats, and Nana and I were still jobless, I didn’t want to bear a child, even if he seemed happy at the thought of it.
“Just saying,” He leaned in and whispered.
“Don’t do that. I have to get my life together before considering raising a kid.”
His eyes narrowed. His face twisted as if he just swallowed a lemon. “What is your problem?”
“My problem? Can’t you see my life right now?” I gestured exaggeratedly. Thankfully, it was just the three of us, and Homer just pretended he wasn’t listening. “Nana was probably poisoned. She’s sick, refusing my help. My father is a notorious criminal, and because of his influence, my siblings are criminals, too. And here I am, wanting to swallow my pride to accept the job offer from the company owned by my husband. I am sure there’s a lot more qualified than me, but because of you, I will get the job.”
“Don’t flatter yourself. You will go through a proper processing to get the job.”
“Great.” I walked away as soon as the door opened. I suddenly felt ashamed.
He grabbed me by the elbow and looked at me with so much displeasure. “Maybe you’re right. We shouldn’t have kids.”
