“What?”
Rosalind still looked confused, completely at a loss.
To be honest, she wondered if Ulric had hit his head in the car accident, as he kept saying things she couldn’t understand!
“I’ll give you a few more days. Go back to the hotel.”
After saying this, Ulric sat back in the driver’s seat, his words filled with a sense of helplessness.
Rosalind blinked, seeing that he seemed to have more to say but didn’t. Finally, she steeled herself and asked directly, “Mr. Walters, are you planning to terminate the contract? You can just say it, I have no objections.”
She would be more than willing to step aside for him and Sirena!
“…”
Ulric raised his hand and rubbed his forehead.
Johnny was right, he himself didn’t know why he was acting so irrationally.
Even he couldn’t understand why he insisted on putting himself through this.
…
The car arrived at the hotel.
Cedric and several assistants were already there to greet them.
Seeing their president get out from the driver’s seat was quite surprising.
“Rosalind, weren’t you supposed to pick up the president?”
Why did the president end up being her driver?
Rosalind smiled awkwardly, “Mr. Walters probably feared I might damage his car.”
“…”
Ulric took the luggage out of the car’s trunk and walked over to Cedric, saying, “It’s too late today. Let’s meet for a meeting tomorrow morning. Everyone, go rest.”
“Yes, Mr. Walters.”
Cedric nodded and gave Rosalind a look, signaling that she could leave.
But then Ulric suddenly shoved the suitcase into her hands.
“Rosalind, follow me and bring the luggage up.”
“… Okay.”
She followed Ulric with a heavy heart, already imagining how surprised Cedric must be at this moment.
Why didn’t Ulric say what he needed to in the car? Why did he have to bring her to his room in front of everyone? Fortunately, Cedric was tight-lipped, otherwise, there would be rumors in the company by tomorrow.
Rosalind carried the luggage into the room Ulric had booked. Before she could say a word, he handed her a bottle of ointment.
“I’ll take a shower. You apply the medicine for me.”
With that, he took his robe and went into the bathroom.
Hearing the sound of running water, Rosalind was still trying to process everything.
What was going on? Why was everything so different from what she had expected?
Ulric hadn’t mentioned terminating the contract or scolded her for taking Malcolm to the hospital without permission.
Clearly, at the airport earlier, she could feel his anger!
After a while, Ulric came out of the bathroom.
His robe was loosely tied around his waist. He took a few long strides to the bed and lay down.
Seeing that Rosalind hadn’t moved, he frowned, “Aren’t you coming over?”
“Coming.” She walked over to the bed and saw a large wound on Ulric’s leg. The surrounding skin was bruised and looked alarming.
“Maybe we should get a doctor? I’m afraid I might hurt you more!”
“No need. I don’t like being touched by others.”
With that, he pulled his robe up further, revealing tight black boxer briefs that clearly outlined his form.
Ulric seemed completely unfazed by this.
It was Rosalind who averted her eyes, her face burning as she started applying the medicine!
As she worked, she suddenly remembered the text message Sirena had sent her.
These black briefs, she hadn’t seen them in Ulric’s wardrobe when she packed for him last time. So they must be new ones Sirena bought for him during this trip!
