Nelson held her waist, listening to her rapid breathing, and let out a short laugh.
In a low voice, he said, “I saw the jasmine.”
Before Callie could respond, he kissed her again, this time more intensely. As he bent down to pick her up, there was a clear sense of desire, an instinct warning that something significant was going to happen tonight.
The moment they touched, it felt like electricity coursed through their bodies.
In the dim light, Nelson’s voice was husky as he said, “We have time tonight, and no one will disturb us.”
Callie felt both embarrassed and flustered, her face burning. “Don’t talk!”
Nelson turned his words into actions, removing her outer clothing and lifting her in his arms as he headed straight upstairs.
The master bedroom door was locked behind them. Callie knew there was no avoiding it tonight.
Nelson was a dominant man in every way. His body radiated heat as he pressed Callie against him.
“Are you scared?”
Callie gritted her teeth. “No.”
Nelson was tense, but he moved slowly to ensure her comfort. He was gentle, and she quickly transitioned from discomfort and resistance to gradual enjoyment.
In the end, she clung to his arms as she reached the climax. When she calmed down, there were tears in her eyes. Nelson was startled. “Did it hurt?”
Callie was silent for a long time, making Nelson anxious enough to almost check on her himself. Finally, she whispered, “Nelson, we’ve crossed a line.”
In the dim light, Nelson’s face was hard to see. His eyelids drooped, his clothes half-open, revealing his sexy collarbone and Adam’s apple, making him look very enticing.
“Do you regret it?”
Callie didn’t answer, lost in thought.
After a long silence, Nelson finally moved as if to get out of bed. At that moment, his wrist was suddenly grabbed.
He looked down to see Callie’s delicate white hand and her determined eyes.
He turned back in surprise.
Callie felt like a floating speck of dust in the light, slowly sinking into his dark gaze.
She wrapped her arms around his neck and brought her lips close to his. She could see the fine hairs on his face. Every touch sent a shiver through her. How could a man be so handsome?
As soon as she touched his lips, he took control, pressing her head firmly as their lips and teeth almost clashed, revealing a hint of his wild nature.
This was the real Nelson.
After a night of passion, they woke up the next day in each other’s arms.
Callie woke up early and looked up at him, tracing his well-defined face with her fingers, feeling content and happy.
Just then, Nelson’s personal phone rang from the bedside table. Callie flinched in surprise. He woke up slowly but didn’t move to answer it.
Callie nudged him. “Aren’t you going to answer?”
He caught her fingers without opening his eyes. “You answer it for me.”
The phone kept ringing persistently. Callie bit her lip and picked it up. Seeing the caller ID marked as “Marilyn,” she raised an eyebrow. “It looks like it’s from that person in London. Should I answer?”
Nelson had opened his eyes and was studying her. “You don’t dare.”
“What’s there to be afraid of?” Callie was provoked and swiped to answer, putting it on speaker.
“Nelson.” The voice was cold and fragile.
There was no response.
The caller continued with a slight tremor in their voice. “I heard from Regan that you got married. Is it true?”
Nelson remained silent for a long time. Callie took a deep breath and replied, “It’s true.”
