“What are you all doing? Get them!” Silverio ordered out in disbelief as Abigor unwrapped his arm from around his neck and punched him repeatedly.
Silverio grunted in pain and tried to break free, but he was no match against the beast put out of his cages.
Silverio couldn’t believe his men were just standing there, letting it all happen. A loud click of heels resonated before the clapping was heard, Sylvia appeared from the entrance with a bright big smile.
“Good job boys,” she said enthusiastically.
“Donna” the men greeted her back respectively as they bowed for their new leader.
Aria rolled her eyes and finally freed herself from the tight rope around her wrists. If she had just arrived a few minutes ago, she would have saved her from all this drama. But what can she say, it was Sylvia, she like dramatic entrances.
Sylvia threw an unmoving, dead, body with deep fresh marks all over his face. Silverio’s eyes widened as he stared at the body of Mateo, his right-hand man, now dead.
Abigor rained more punches on his now bloodied face, tearing his gaze away from the dead body.
“He was starting to be a problem” Sylvia muttered recklessly before her gaze went back to Aria “I’m sorry sister, but he-” she pointed at a beat-up Silverio.
“He was being such a rat. He wouldn’t come out of his hole, otherwise, I would have killed him way before. I knew he would come out if you came” Sylvia smiled before continuing “So I told my men to go along with him for the last time”
Jorje came from behind her and walked towards Aria. He helped her stand up, away from Kahlil who stood frozen, as she thanked him lowly.
Sylvia was such a genius, her best game was manipulation and violence. She didn’t waste the year, waiting for Silverio to strike. She made the men remember who their true leader was and got them on her side.
She was a born leader.
Her eyes traveled back to Kahlil as disgust swirled in her jade eyes “I never liked him” she commented with gritted teeth.
Aria’s whole form stiffened as she turned to look at teary-eyed Kahlil with an equally distressed and Karl pointing his gun at him, keeping him from running away.
She felt the fresh betrayal on her nerves as her hand traveled to her bloody neck.
A loud gunshot made both of the sisters look back at Abigor and Silverio. Abigor just shot Silverio on his upper thigh, dangerously close to his dick.
Silverio cried out in immense pain as Sylvia tutted in a continuous sequence as approached them while swaying her hips confidently.
“Not so soon, brother-in-law” Sylvia addressed Abigor as she kept a hand on his shoulder.
As expected, he jerked her hand away from him and gave out a rough breath as he glared at her “Don’t touch me, and fuck off”
Sylvia’s careless smile faltered as Aria felt Jorje stiffening beside her at the disrespect of his girl.
“He’s mine” Sylvia commented coldly as she gazed at Silverio’s almost unconscious body “I’ll give him a painful death”
Abigor read her emotions which mirrored that of Aria.
Sylvia’s eyes slid over to the four of her men, who were trying to subdue Abigor, dead on the floor. She knew the moment she assigned the duty to them, that they’d be dead.
“Come on, you caused me four men, you owe me brother-in-law”
“I don’t owe you shit” he was quick to respond.
He looked over at his woman as she nodded at him. He sighed and thrusted Silverio to the ground roughly before turning back, to walk towards Aria.
“He’s all yours” he threw over his shoulder as he closed the distance between him and his love.
He hugged her tightly and she hugged him back just as passionately, burying her face on his wide chest and breathing in his dark masculine scent which never failed to provide her comfort.
“Aria” he whispered out desperately as he pulled her even closer, and kissed her forehead reassuringly.
Aria’s heart warmed at his small gesture as she clutched the back of his shirt tightly and clung to him for life.
“Boss” Karl’s voice interjected their moment as Abigor’s sharp gaze snapped to him while Aria refused to let go of him and continued to keep her eyes closed, basking in his warmness.
“Say the word” she heard Karl say, but she refused to pay any attention to him.
“Do it-”
Kahlil’s whimpers echoed in her mind as her eyes snapped open to find, Kahlil squeezing his eyes shut and Karl’s teary eyes glaring at his back while readying his gun to shoot him.
“STOP!” She snapped while she separated from Abigor, making him growl at the distance while he put an arm around her waist and pulled her back roughly.
Karl’s eyes bored in on her as a single drop escaped from his right eye, expectantly. He didn’t want to shoot Kahlil either.
“Aria” Abigor growled in rage as his finger dug into her waist.
“Please,” she begged, “let him go.”
“No way” he gritted out glaring at the young boy, making him shrink back in terror “He’s a traitor, he was going to kill you.”
“He didn’t” she argued back “He had countless chances, but he didn’t. It’s because he loves me”
Her eyes softened at him as Kahlil’s eyes widened and he sniffed aggressively. He didn’t know his sister could be so kind, he now felt like crap betraying her.
“He was just a bit angry at me,” she whispered as she tried to walk to him, but Abigor had a death grip around her. She sighed and gave up.
“It was my fault” she accepted “I hurt his little heart, he was just a child too.”
Warm tears escaped Kahlil’s eyes as he broke down in small painful sobs, shivering against Karl’s tight hold.
“I’m sorry” he cried out as Aria’s brows knitted together and she shook her head, her nose burning and her eyes clouded with a teary curtain.
“It’s ok, baby” she whispered with the softest of voice which made him cry harder.
Abigor pulled her closer at the nickname as a jealous voice whispered in her “I do not care if you are emotional and shit, I suggest you to shut it with the nicknames unless you want your ass red and purple by tomorrow.”
She absolutely hated how her body reacted to his words as she threw a playful glare at his way while his hand slipped down and squeezed her ass roughly.
She suppressed the whine in pain as she looked back at Karl.
“What do we do now?” his question made her look back at Abigor as he sighed defeatedly.
Abigor let go of her waist “Don’t move” he ordered darkly as she nodded expectantly.
He stood in front of Kahlil with his jaw clenched as his rage rained down at him through a simple loud punch to his jaw, knocking him to the floor.
Aria flinched and gasped at his unpredictable nature.
Abigor squatted in front of him and looked him directly in the eyes, giving him a sense of deja vu.
Did all the Mafia Dons threaten the same way?
“I’m letting you go”
Aria broke into a small smile before she heard him continue.
“I do not care where you go” he warned as Kahlil listened carefully while wiping away his blood from his lips, “But if I see you again in this lifetime, I’ll make sure to put a bullet between your eyes”
He shivered at his threat before nodding.
“I would not care if she cries-” he pointed at his woman before his cunning eyes went back to a teary-eyed Karl.
Pathetic.
“-or him”
Kahlil gulped down the guilty lump in his throat before nodding again. Karl glared down at Kahlil one last time before storming out of the warehouse.
Without looking at his face one last time. Without saying goodbye forever.
Abigor stood back and walked towards Aria, who stood there with a soft smile. She opened her arms for him and he fell into them without hesitation.
He wasn’t the type of man who would be swayed of his decision because of anyone’s begging. But it wasn’t anyone, it was his Aria.
He would do anything for her. No matter how twisted.
A loud shriek made them both turn towards Sylvia, who sat on an unmoving Silverio with his eyeball in her hand.
She had a wide grin as she handed it over to Jorje, who cradled it so carefully like it was the most expensive gift he had ever received.
