The following day, Tanesha didn’t see Skull at all and she was grateful for that. She didn’t think she could look the man in the eye ever again. He obviously didn’t want to see her either, after her mortifyingly sluttish behaviour. That was fine by Tanesha. The way he’d reacted after her orgasm clearly showed his disgust. If he’d even laughed to her face, when she was convulsing with that absolutely intense climax, Tanesha didn’t think she would have felt as humiliated as she felt at how he’d actually reacted. Just thinking about it made her cringe. The sooner she was out of that godforsaken place, the better, she thought. With the new development, she had to think very hard of ways to get out of there. And that was exactly what Tanesha did… She thought!
When Mickey came to escort Tanesha to the bathroom after breakfast the following morning, she had to make an effort to stifle her grin. She did prefer Mickey to Donk because although Mickey was obviously infatuated with her body, Mickey had the decency to look away whenever she was taking a shower. But that wasn’t why Tanesha was happy to see Mickey. She had a plan. And Mickey’s infatuation with her body was going to come in handy…she hoped. She noticed that there seemed to be a buzz in the air.
“What’s going on Mickey?” Tanesha asked as she dried herself.
“The boss is coming.” He replied simply.
“The boss? I thought that was Skull.” She said, stepping out of the bath tub.
“The head of our group. He’s called Ghost. He’ll be here this afternoon so we’re getting ready for him.”
Tanesha rolled her eyes as she tried hard to stifle her snort of disgust. “Oh, I see.” She preceded Mickey into her room.
“Listen, Tanesha.” Mickey turned to face Tanesha after closing the door. “Ghost is…he’s something else. He’s not like Skull. We heard Skull was wicked and all but he’s been good to you so far. He’s left you alone. It’s rather strange but…” Mickey shrugged, obviously perplexed. “He’s been cool. But Ghost is not a good person.”
“And your point is…”
“My point is that don’t go running your mouth in his presence. He won’t be as forgiving as Skull was.” Mickey’s eyes pleaded with Tanesha.
“This Ghost character seems to really scare you. What did he…”
“Tanesha, you should be very scared too,” Mickey said urgently. “Trust me on this.”
“Really? Trust you?” Tanesha’s incredulous look drew a groan from Mickey. “If you really want me to trust you, maybe you should help me get out of here before this…Ghost gets here.” Tanesha said sarcastically. But before Mickey could say anything she gave him her killer smile and said sweetly; “Will you be a dear and fetch my bra from the bathroom please, Mickey.” Tanesha allowed her towel to slip to the floor, leaving her gloriously naked body to Mickey’s eyes. “I seem to have left it in there.”
“We…where is…did you l…leave it?” Mickey swallowed hard, looking at the black goddess standing in front of him.
“I’m not too sure. Look everywhere.” Tanesha pouted. “Hurry, I’m cold.” If it had been any other time, she would have burst into laughter. The look on Mickey’s face was priceless. She knew the effect she had on the boy and thought that was the best time to use it to her advantage. If her plan went well, she wasn’t going to be around when that Ghost person showed his face…whoever he was.
Mickey was out of the door so fast it was almost like a blur. Tanesha couldn’t believe her plan had actually worked. Mickey had left the door open, just as she’d hoped. She dashed to where her clothes were and pulled on black leggings and a black tank top. She was in too much of a hurry, she didn’t even bother with bra or panties…or her flip flops for that matter.
Tanesha slowly stepped out of her room, locked the door, and slipped the key between her waistband and her body. Then she started moving cautiously towards the room she’d been taken to when Skull asked to see her when he arrived. She’d noticed there was a door leading outside from that room. Surprisingly, none of her captors seemed to be around. Tanesha entered the room and tentatively headed towards the door. Still no one. Tanesha could almost taste her freedom. She slowly opened the door and stepped out onto the porch. Then she froze.
Right there on the porch sat Shark and Donk, playing cards. They didn’t even turn to see who had come outside. Of course, she was the last person they were expecting so they couldn’t be bothered. Thanking her stars, Tanesha slowly got off the porch…right into the way of Jess, or Scar Face as she preferred to call him. They stared at each other, with Jess looking so shocked it was almost comical. Tanesha used that surprised to her advantage.
Without thinking, she gave a perfect kick to Jess’ groin and smashed her elbow into the back of his head when he bent over in pain, just as her big brother, Leon, had taught her. And even before he crumpled to the ground, Tanesha was sprinting away. She heard shouts and then feet running after her but she didn’t stop or turn to look behind. Tanesha panted as she run. She however became very worried when she soon realized that there was no one around to help her. It looked like they were isolated, wherever they were. And she could see the ocean all around them. An Island, she thought. They were on an Island, just as Mickey had said.
“Great. Just great!” She muttered to herself as she run.
Where exactly had her kidnappers brought her, Tanesha wondered worriedly. She still kept running. Soon she realized that besides the fact that she couldn’t see any human beings, her feet were killing her. Those chasing her seemed closer and Tanesha actually felt cheated because whilst those brutes had on boots, she was barefooted.
Tanesha got tackled from behind and fell down under the weight of two men. She realized it was Polks and Heat when she got to her feet. The same two idiots who had kidnapped her in the first place. She struggled, her adrenaline pumping but they wouldn’t let her go. After much biting and kicking, she was able to stick a finger into Polk’s eye, yanked her hand from Heat’s, and then turned around to face off with Heat.
“Why the fuck do you always go for my eyes, you bitch?” Polks screamed from his crouch on the ground, trying to get his eye to open. Tanesha didn’t spare him a glance. She and Heat circled each other.
“Think you can take me down?” He leered.
“Even if I can’t, I’ll die trying,” Tanesha responded, panting harshly. “You don’t look so macho without your gun, fool.” Tanesha taunted, remembering how Heat had pointed a gun to her head on the day of her abduction.
Heat was so furious at her words, he charged at Tanesha, who easily sidestepped him and kicked the back of his knee with all her might, getting the crook to fall to his knees. Then she gave a quick blow to the back of his neck, which would have rendered Heat unconscious if it had been packed with the energy it deserved. It was still enough to get him to fall facedown onto the ground. But before Tanesha could do any further damage, she felt a hand coil around her neck, and then there was a slight pressure on a point at the base of her neck. Tanesha gasped when she felt a sharp pain. Then everything went black.
