Blake walked from his study into the kitchen on Monday night. The house was silent. The boys had already left for their grandparents’.
Tasha was watering the herbs on the windowsill.
“Hey,” he whispered and moved to the refrigerator, and brought out two bottles of ginger beer.
“Sit with me.” He sat on the high dining chair at the breakfast nook and patted the chair next to him. He opened a bottle with his teeth and held it out to her.
“Thank you.” She collected the bottle and sat down on the chair at the far end of the table instead, leaving two chairs between them.
“Cheers,” he tilted his bottle towards her before taking a long swing of the drink.
“I’m going to miss the kids so much,” she said and darted a quick look into his eyes. “One week,” she groaned. “I think it’s too much.”
“Don’t worry,” he burst into laughter, “the kids will enjoy themselves. We adults too should try and enjoy ourselves here.”
He tilted his bottle towards her and she just smiled briefly.
She looked more beautiful than ever. He had to fight the urge not to pull her into his arms for a kiss.
“Can I ask for a favor, Blake?” She dropped her beer bottle on the tall table. “Can I go to Sandville on Wednesday? I will be back on Saturday before the boys return on Sunday.”
“You want to go away?” he frowned.
“I just needed to go and …” Her voice trailed off to her dismay. “It will save me another trip when we return to Berkeley.”
“You think the house will be boring with just you and I?”
“No, not that.” she shook her head and looked away.
“Of course you can go.” He gulped down the last of his drink. “I’m sure your parents will be delighted to see you.”
“They will be,” her face lit up. “Thank you.”
He rose to his feet. “I need to retire now.” he dropped his empty bottle in the trash.”I have an early start tomorrow.”
“Okay, goodnight Blake,” she sipped from her drink.
“Goodnight Tasha,” he said over his shoulders as he walked out of the kitchen.
When he returned from work late in the evening the following day, Tuesday, he met her sitting on the front porch, looking lost.
“Hey Tasha,” he called brightly.
“Oh my God,” she turned to look at him. When did you get here? I did not even hear the car.”
“Is everything okay?” He walked up the stairs to join her. “You look kind of…” His voice trailed off.
“I’m missing my boys,” she said forlornly.
“I’m missing them too,” he sighed.
“Oh my God,” she covered her mouth with her hand and jumped up. “I should have started dinner. I forgot, I was lost in thought. I am so sorry.”
“It’s nothing, I can understand,” he smiled. “Don’t bother cooking. Let’s go out for dinner.” He checked for the time on his wristwatch. “It’s just after five.”
“Dinner?”
“Yes, dinner,” he put his hand in his pocket. “Can you be ready in thirty, forty minutes?” He asked as he walked up to the front door.
“Yes, thirty minutes is okay.”
“Good, see you outside in thirty minutes,” he told her and went inside.
Tasha chose a simple short gown. It accentuated all her curves. She complimented it with a pair of black low sandals and a small black purse.
Blake whistled silently when she walked down the stairs. He cleared his throat, smiled into her eyes as she walked up to him. His gaze stayed a bit longer on her boobs.
Tasha was oblivious of this as she was trying to hide how attracted she too was feeling about. She was so happy that she was wearing a padded bra. If not, he would have seen how her nipples had hardened against her bra.
“You look exquisite, Tasha.” He whispered. His voice was deep and rumbling.
“Th-, thank you,” she managed to say. Her cheeks flare with heat emanating from his eyes into her body.
He took her hand and kissed it before he led her outside.
He took her to dining luxe; one of the best restaurants in New York city. She nearly fainted from excitement when they got there. It was everything she had never seen before.
Their dinner went well; they discussed the boys, and he told her about his running battle with the board of directors.
“Thanks so much for dinner,” she said when they got home.
“You are welcome Tasha,” he dropped his car key on the mantle. “You were such a good company.”
“I…I’ll be upstairs in my room,” she looked at the staircase. She was so self conscious and didn’t know what else to say.
“It’s just after nine,” he checked for the time on his wristwatch. “I thought we could have a nightcap drink or something.”
“I’m sorry,” she folded her arms around herself to stop her from doing anything silly. “I’m a bit tired already. I need to retire now.”
“It’s okay,” he said dejectedly. “I will see you in the morning, then. Your flight is in the afternoon right?”
“Yes, it’s three pm, goodnight, Blake.” She said and scurried away.
Tasha couldn’t sleep after she had her bath and climbed into bed. She was just turning and tossing on the bed. Her body was on fire. She ached for Blake’s touch. Her head felt heavy and her heart thudded wildly in her chest. She was just so restless.
Blake couldn’t sleep in his room either. He had been running the events of the night over and over in his mind since he got into the bed. Blake was so tensed up, he couldn’t just stop thinking about Tasha. He wanted to hold her, to bury all of his eight inches erection into her and fuck her silly.
The sudden sound of an opening door startled him out of his thoughts. He listened carefully and smiled to himself when he realized it was Tasha and she was going downstairs. He thought of going out to meet her, but decided against it.”
