ESTELLE
“Blood will flow if the monster behind this attack on my innocent girl isn’t found!” Father roared, pacing about in the living room.
After that horrible incident, Argon and father immediately took me away from the show, bringing me down to my home.
I have been shivering ever since we got to the mansion. My body wrapped in a long sheet given by my manager to hide my nakedness.
The humiliation, the pains, the mockery… Everyone was laughing and taking pics of me.
“Shit! It’s all over the net!” Argon groaned, checking his phone.
I was too weak to ask what the public were saying. All I know is that they are all making jest of my body.
Oh goddess! This beautiful body made to model beautiful attires was exposed to all those disgusting people. I don’t think I’ll be able to recover from this ever again!
“This people are mad! What do they mean by it’s part of the show? Are they blind?!” Argon roared, pacing around like my father.
He shared some of the bad tweets made by the public, calling me a slut who purposely pulled my clothes off to get everyone to see my nakedness.
One of the headings Argon read, said ‘BODY FOR SALE.’
I was crushed.
“No!” I groaned, burying my face right in the sheet, crying.
“This will ruin my career. Who did this to me?!” I cried bitterly.
“My darling, don’t cry. Please, ” Father begged, sitting right next to me, wrapping his arms around my body.
“You have your father here, as well as Argon. We’ll fish out that animal and deal with them mercilessly. They dared to embarrass the Alpha’s daughter before the world and think they can go free? I will not allow them to get away, Never!” Father vowed, petting me.
I kept crying, unable to control myself anymore, until Argon sat beside me. He placed his hand on me and called my name softly.
I lifted my head off father’s shoulder, settling my gaze on him. His eyes no longer had rage like before but love for me.
With sadness, I cried my way into his arms, burying myself in his hold.
“It’s okay. We’ll get the culprit, I promise you, ” Argon assured, caressing me close.
“The culprit would be someone who was in the room where Estelle’s dress was. That person tempered with it before she wore it.”
“You’re right. Whoever it was, must have waited for the right time to do this without anyone’s presence to monitor the room. I bet it’s one of those models. Estelle did say they envy her success. They must have done this, ” Argon pointed, accusing all the models that joined in the mockery.
As they were busy picking out their suspects, only one person came to mind. And that was Brielle.
And the most shocking part is that she’s here in the living room with us, standing close to the entrance, all quiet.
I didn’t even know she followed us back. I didn’t see her throughout the chaos. How come she’s here with us?
I stared at her. She just crossed her arms, leaning against the wall, gazing back at me with those terrifying eyes.
She was with me after Argon left. I attacked her and she didn’t freak out but left. Yes! She is the one who did it! She ruined my dress to get back at me!
“When Jerome returns, we’ll know what they found, ” Argon said, caressing me.
With my heart set on this wretch, I pulled myself out of Argon’s hold with speed, rising to my feet.
Father and Argon wondered what had happened, until I pointed at Brielle, yelling, ” It was you! You are the one who ruined my dress!”
“What?!” Brielle voiced out, widening her gaze at my accusations.
Argon got to his feet and asked, “What are you talking about?”
“The truth! This woman must have done it! She is the culprit!” I accused on, still pointing at Brielle.
There was a sudden glare from Brielle on me that gave me more reasons to accuse her. I pointed that out, telling them she was the person.
But Argon was finding it hard to believe.
“Estelle, you… can’t be serious. I don’t think Brielle did anything to your dress.”
“Argon, stop siding her blindly! Have you forgotten your melted suit?!” I picked that out, so he’d remember.
“If she could mix your suit into chemical to ruin it, what makes you think she can’t do the same to me?! She is the one!” I roared, pointing at Brielle.
Father also supported me, making my accusation strong. And Argon was beginning to fall on our side.
But just then…
“That’s enough!” Brielle sparked, shocking us all. We turned to face her direction and saw how she stood boldly like a warrior, glaring at us.
“Enough of all this accusations. I will not stand here and watch you blame me for your own mishap,” She said, raging at us.
I was blown by this. What happened to being innocent and quiet? She has finally shown her true self.
Smirking out, I pointed to Argon. “Can you see? Isn’t this the same Brielle you kept siding with? Can you see her true colors now?”
Argon was astonished by her outburst. He didn’t expect it either.
“Look at this useless woman. So, you know how to speak up, huh? ” Father mocked Brielle, only to get a response he wasn’t expecting.
“Did you expect me to stay quiet while you and your daughter accuse me over your silliness?”
“How dare you?!” Father roared
“Brielle!!” Argon yelled at her.
“DON’T!!” She sparked at them, silencing them with her voice.
I was shocked by what she just did. How disrespectful. At least, Argon will stop thinking she’s innocent anymore.
“I will not stand back and listen to this nonsense. Why? Is it because I chose to stay back and allow you ride me like a fool, that’s why you feel whenever a bad thing happens, it’s Brielle?” She questioned them, mostly staring at Argon.
“Alpha, your lover just told you I was the one and you were set to support her. Did you ask her where her hand maid was? Did you?” Brielle asked Argon.
He couldn’t respond to her question but stared at Brielle. I was expecting him to silence her but he didn’t. He was just looking at her.
“We made a deal to hide whatever was going on between us until you two are married. I played my own role but she didn’t. At her rehearsal, she attacked me before all. She bullied me in front of her coworkers and yet… I kept acting like it was nothing, so no one would attack you.”
“Stop telling us stories and admit the truth. You ruined my dress! ” I accused, wanting to silence her from opening old matters, but she didn’t budge.
She brought up the matter at the boutique and how I exposed Argon’s affair with me. That brought heat to my chest, making me feel scared of Argon’s reaction.
What he did at the dressing room is still fresh in my memory. I can’t go through that again.
“Despite the press questioning me, I was defending you and her, trying to protect your image. But she ruined it by telling them the truth. And out of anger, she left me alone to find my way back to the show, ” Brielle revealed.
“What? ” Argon uttered, looking at me.
My body shivered at his gaze, swaying my head in defense. “So… So what? It’s because of you the press attacked me. Did you think I was going to carry you afterwards?”
“I’m glad you admitted that you didn’t carry me, because I had to trek down to the show, all because of the order given by Argon, just to be your hand maid. But what did you do when I arrived? Come on, what did you do?! ” Brielle questioned me with a loud voice.
My body began to tremble at her boldness. The whole room was beginning to get hot, almost like the walls were closing on me.
But knowing father and Argon was here, I was still able to stand my ground.
“So, what are you saying, huh? ” I asked.
“I returned to your room to find you crying. And what did you do when you saw me? ”
Right there, she lifted her arm and pulled off the rag she had used in wrapping it, revealing the wound I had given to her.
Argon was stunned to see the injury I gave to Brielle, but I was more stunned than he was.
“Is it me or did that wound get bigger? ” I was confused.
Brielle showed her wound which was dripping out water. If she had a wolf, it would have healed up a long time.
“You ran your claws into my skin and kicked me out! I had to leave since you didn’t want me there. I stayed away from your room or the backstage, all because you felt I was the reason for your mishap!”
She began panting, before delivery the final question, ” So, how did I get to your pretty rain forest dress, if all the dresses were sent to every model an hour to the show? I wasn’t around, so how?”
My body shivered. She wasn’t wrong there. My dress was already in my room before Argon showed up and she arrived.
I didn’t know how to turn this table back on Brielle. It was beginning to choke me.
That’s when father chipped in, insulting Brielle for speaking to us without any respect.
“You are in my home and you’re speaking to my daughter like that?!”
“Alpha Deron, with all due respect, your daughter is the one who should think before speaking, because I didn’t ruin her dress!”
“SILENCE!” Father roared, calling his guards in at once. Six guards came storming into the room, answering father’s call.
“Grab that disrespectful servant and deal with her! Flog her until she learns to respect those in authority!”
“Yes, Alpha.”
“Alpha Deron, what are you doing?”
“No Argon! Let me handle this woman myself! My daughter says she’s the one and she dares to lie?! She must be punished!”
I was filled with delight, watching the guards grab Brielle. She was struggling to push them off, as they pinned her against the wall with one of the guards getting set to pull his whip out.
And just when the fun was about to begin…
“STOP!!” Someone yelled from the entrance, storming into the living room.
It was Jerome. He was back from the modeling hall.
“Jerome, you’re back,” Argon said, stepping forward to meet with his Beta.
“What are you doing?” He asked on seeing how the guards pinned a furious Brielle.
“She is the one who ruined my dress, and now she’s going to be punished for it.”
“Who told you that? It wasn’t Brielle,” Jerome revealed, leaving us astonished.
“What?” Argon and I uttered.
“The real culprit was found and arrested. It’s not Brielle. It was a model named Maya,” Jerome shared.
When I heard Maya’s name, I immediately remembered that Maya was in the room as well.
She had come over to mock me.
“That witch?” I cursed, feeling angry.
“Your dress was slashed in a nice fine line with Wolf’s claw. It was done in a professional manner so it won’t fall immediately, until when it’s stretched out. So, the moment you took your pose, it came falling,” Jerome explained.
No wonder it felt so free.
“We found a piece of your dress in her nails. She was arrested before all.”
“Did the press take this? Is it on the net?!” I asked, taking out my phone to check.
When I found the video, I saw Maya crying and begging, saying she’s not the one.
“I didn’t even get closer to her dress! It’s not me. I don’t know how that piece got to my nail, I swear, ” She cried.
This was both fun to watch and shocking. I still can’t believe Maya did this.
“Brielle is innocent. And besides, she’s wolfless,” Jerome pointed out.
I lifted my eyes to see she was set free by the guards. Her eyes came settling on me while wrapping her wound.
I felt troubled within on meeting her gaze.
I don’t like this.
