29-Hell.
Scar POV.
I scared her, my temper got the best of me! All my hard work of hiding who I am, hiding my beast of a face, visiting her dreams, I’ve fallen for her! But then I went ahead and scared her away. I didn’t want anyone to scold my little fox! She’s mine why is he yelling at her, in my possessive brain, it didn’t register that the one talking to her was her father, we’ve been bonding, she trusts me enough, she and I have a bond strong enough that she could see me all the time, she was falling for me but she wouldn’t say the words.
I knew I was having a chance with her, my own little fox, she was everything I wanted in this life, but I still had to tell her who I am, I had to explain the truth, my time is starting to end, I’ll have to get back to hell, but she has to agree to come with me by then.
She blocked me out, I saw the fear in her eyes, before she blocked me, my aura was showing, my anger was making it hard to hide who I really am, other people were starting to notice that I’m here, that a different aura is around the place. It all started when they chased me out of the house, I gave them a run for their money, I ran quickly, I kept my aura hidden, but they almost got me a few times, but I got out of the vampire lands without being caught.
That was a close call, she was mad at me then, but she forgave me, I loved her for that, she have a big heart, she didn’t mind forgiving me for what happened.
I pushed my luck too hard, I showed my aura way too much, and I messed things with her, finally, I was pushed away, from her sight, from her dreams. She read the books about us lords, it’s when I knew I’ve lost her, she wouldn’t allow me to tell her that the king have given us a chance, she thinks I don’t love her, she told her parents that I’m hunting her. I left, I knew I had to leave then, the protection they placed over her, there’s no chance for me to reach her anymore, she doesn’t want me, she rejected me.
I went back to hell, I went back to my king, I kneeled in front of him with a broken heart, the king was nice enough to not rub any salt into my injury, he just welcomed me back to his castle, he didn’t ask about why I came back alone or what happened, he knew it all. I saw his pet again, usually, I’ll be happy to see her, but that day, every time I saw her all I could see was my Rina, my missed chance, I went to my room, I stayed in my quarter until I was needed, everything else Arlo did in my absence, it all just hurt.
“Drinking already?” Arlo asks, I had a glass of whiskey in my hand.
“It’s five pm somewhere,” I say copying the humans, he doesn’t laugh at my joke instead he just looked guilty, he did something.
“What did you do?” I ask him, he just avoids my eyes.
“Arlo, what did you do?” I ask him out loud.
“I might have contacted the fox girl” he mumbles, fox girl, it’s how I described Rina, I never said her name out loud to him.
“What!” I yell at him.
“You’re just moping around, and she tried to contact you” he says.
“How did she do that?” I ask him worried about Rina! Did she try to talk with one of the demons, she might get hurt by that!
“She sent you a message down here, saying she missed you” Arlo says making me see red, why didn’t he tell me right away.
“When did that happen! Why didn’t you tell me?” I yell at him, I want to get a second chance, I’ll beg Lucifer if I have to, I didn’t break his rules, I still have some time from his three hundred and sixty-five days.
“It… it… she…” Arlo stutters before taking off running out of my room, I’m going to beat his bum once I catch him and it won’t take me that long, he did something and he’s going to tell me what he did.
