21-Imaginary Friend.
Arianna POV.
I had to go back home, sadly I have to get back home, papa would be checking on me soon, and he’ll, of course, see I wasn’t in my room sleeping. I was about to say goodbye to Scar, but that’s when I noticed the bodyguards in the park, that either means uncle is out with Andy, or they knew I’m not home and are searching for me, both aren’t good at all.
“I have to leave Scar,” I say, he followed my line of sight and saw them, something in him changed, his aura changed, for a minute he wasn’t the Scar I knew, his aura wasn’t muffled, it felt more dominant, more similar to what I see in my dreams, the more scary Scar.
“Go, we’ll meet in the dream world tonight,” he says landing a kiss, a real kiss to my lips making me smile, I love the kissing. He left me then, he wasn’t walking toward my bodyguards, he walked the other way leaving me here, his aura went back down, back to being muffled and hidden, that made me think that maybe he’s not what I think he is.
“Ariiiiiii!!” I hear a voice call me, before small hands engulfed me in a hug, Andy!
“Hey baby,” I say turning to him, kissing his cheeks.
“What are you doing here? You want to go eat ice cream with us?” he asks, by us, I’m sure he means my uncle.
“Uncle is here?” I ask him, knowing I’m in deep trouble now.
“Mhm, daddy said we can have ice cream,” he says holding my hand, I just hoped he didn’t see me playing with Scar.
“Let’s go then,” I say holding his hand hoping uncle won’t beat my ass for sneaking out.
“Daddy! Look who I found!” Andy says showing me off to my uncle, thank you, little snitch!
“Arianna, I didn’t know you were out, who are you playing with?” he asks me, I looked at him not knowing what to answer, I can’t say Scar, he’d hunt his bum down and have a full-on investigation/interrogation!
“My imaginary friend?” I ask not knowing what to answer, uncle, of course, took my answer, thinking my little self is talking but Andy raised a brow at me wanting to know more details.
“Ice cream?” Andy asks I want ice cream too, I love ice cream, it’s the thing me and Andy would never disagree on, we both love it.
“Ice cream uncle!” I demand too, slipping to my little space, the mention of ice cream got me slipping, he just smiles at us two and walk us toward the ice cream shop. We both got our cones and sat down to eat it, uncle sent a message to my parents telling them not to worry, he took me out for ice cream, he didn’t mention me sneaking out which I was really grateful for.
“Ari” Andy asks midway through his ice cream, looking at me with accusing eyes, I just looked back at him all innocently, enjoying my ice cream.
“Yes?” I answer when he doesn’t stop it.
“Who’s your friend, why you don’t tell me about him. I thought I was your friend” he asks in an accusing voice.
“He’s just an imaginary friend,” I say blushing remembering all the kisses, the time we spent together, the way I saw him when I was sick, it was all weird but had me excited at the same time.
“Tell me more,” he says now all excited too, I smile and start telling him, I don’t mention his face or how I can’t see it, but I told him about our dates, how he makes me laugh and calls me little fox.
“Ari is in love,” Andy says with his eyes sparkling with innocence only he could master, it’s a mix of an innocent kitten and the most adorable puppy ever.
“I’m not in love,” I say back, although that’s exactly what Scar wants me to do, fall in love with him, but I’m not, not yet, aren’t I.
“Let’s go little prince, you done with your ice cream?” uncle Dante asks Andy, before back to me, checking that I’m done too, papa gonna have a fit when he knows I ate ice cream when I was supposed to be sick, I’m not, I’m feeling much better.
“Daddy, did you know about Ari’s imaginary friend, why don’t I have one?” Andy asks on the way back, at least I didn’t have to walk back home.
“You can have one if you want Andy” uncle answers with a smile, I pinched Andy wanting him to shut it about my friend, he doesn’t need to tell uncle all about him.
“Aouchi” Andy says but keeps on talking making me groan.
