6-Dreams.
Scar POV.
I stayed with her, I followed her around like her shadow, I saw her go through dinner, the way she picked on her food, the way she only took a few sips of her blood claiming she’s not hungry, I wanted her to take better care of herself, she’s tiny, she needs the food.
“Ari, eat please,” a guy says, he and her shared the same eyes, she had some of his looks.
“Papa, I’m an adult now, I can take care of myself,” she says, the way she keeps reminding people she’s an adult, a big sign she’s not.
“And as your parent, I have every right to tell you to eat, adult or not” he says but that didn’t end well with her, she wants to be treated like an adult, I could read her easily, I could read her eyes, the way her body moves, the way her aura shifts, we are made for each other, I could feel it.
“I’m done eating, dear father,” she says, taking her plate to the sink, throwing the blood and the food in there before leaving. I saw the guy, her father, he tried to call her back but then stopped, I followed her through the house until she made it to what I’m sure is her room, the whole place was drenched in pastel pink and greys, a mix of little and big in the same time. She closed the door but turned to look at me, our eyes met, she couldn’t see me, but she felt I was there, the way her eyes trying to grasp something out in the air.
“I’m spending too long with Andy” she mumbles to herself, going toward the bathroom to get ready for bed I guess, I didn’t look, I’m being a gentleman I’m not going to look at her body. I saw her come back in hello kitty PJ, she got a book, and moved to bed, I sat on her side reading the story along with her, she’s reading a romance story, one about Lucifer, that made me smirk. They made Lucifer the big nice guy, he’s anything but that, she was enjoying the story, the way she kept reading until she started to yawn with tiredness. She unclipped her ears ready to sleep, laying down in bed closing her eyes, going to sleep soon, I laid next to her on the bed, even in my not so physical state, I could hug her, going to sleep with her, trying to get inside her dreams, it wasn’t hard, I joined her there in just a few seconds.
“Hello, little fox,” I say looking at her, in her dreams, she had the same clothes as this morning, a skirt along with a jumper, with high knee socks, her ears weren’t clip-on, in the dream they were real.
“Hello?” she says trying to look at me, I didn’t allow her to see my face, she’s only hearing my voice, seeing half of my body, not my face.
“I’m Scar,” I say introducing myself in the dream, she didn’t know it was a dream, she thought we’re meeting for real.
“Hi Scar, I’m Arianna, most people call me Ari,” she says, that’s nice, but I won’t be calling her as everyone else does.
“You have a beautiful name,” I say smiling at her, although she couldn’t see the smile.
“Why can’t I see your face?” she asks, my face is hidden for a reason.
“I don’t want to scare you away,” I say truthfully.
“I won’t be scared, I want to see your face,” she says, but I can’t show it to her.
“Tell me about you Rina,” I say, touching her ears, making her purr, she loved the touch.
“Rina?” she asks.
“I won’t be calling you as everyone else do” I say, I’m going to be special.
“And what am I supposed to call you? I don’t want to call you like everyone else” she answers me.
“People don’t call me much usually, they take off running,” I answer her, it’s sir or lord actually if they do talk to me.
“Ohh, scary,” she says with a laugh.
“More than you’d think” I answer her, I wanted to talk some more, but the dream shifted, it ended on it’s own, waking her up, before our date ended.
Her eyes opened in real life, she looked around, turning to me, she rubbed her eyes and checked the time, before turning in the other side of the bed.
“That was a weird dream” she says to herself, closing her eyes ready to get back to sleep.
I had to get back to my own body now, I can’t stay here with her, my body was physically exhausted, I needed the rest too, I won’t be able to get inside her dreams again tonight, not with how tired I’m feeling right now.
