Married.

Book:Dark Knight Published:2024-9-6

Simon POV.
We’re going to stay here, it’s not up to me, nor to Sophia, Elijah decided so, it’s either we stay or I end up dead, he doesn’t really need me, and he could hurt Sophia again, I’ll never let him hurt her, not again.
“Is Logan around?” Sophia asks out loud, the brother she told me about, the one we called before, the one who had some information for us.
“No, he’s not, he’s out on a mission,” Elijah answers her in a cold voice that matched mine, I knew he was hurting her, so I held her hand tighter.
“Okay,” Sophia says sounding sad.
“What’s with the pink toys?” he asks, looking at the pink gun she had on her.
“A gift,” she says holding it up, shooting, she didn’t hit the vampire lord, I wished she did, but she didn’t, she made sure it was very close to him.
“A pink gun,” he repeats, not commenting on the fact that she has just shot near his head.
“Our wedding gift,” I say, making him smile, it’s a zombie smile really.
“We’ll get to our room now Lord,” I say ending the chat there, wanting to get out of his sight and get our plan back under control.
“AJ, show them the way,” Elijah says, talking to AJ as he was still working for him.
“What room should we go to?” AJ asks, looking at me for permission instead of Elijah.
“Give them Nun’s old room and the second guest bedroom, and work it through AJ, I don’t have to run everything in this house myself,” Elijah says angrily now.
“Let’s go,” AJ says leading the way away from Elijah, we got to another room, he first showed my man their room, and then we all moved to Sophia’s room, saying he’ll share with Lucas.
“This was your room?” I ask her, she spent time here before.
“Yeah, but I didn’t spend a lot of time in here, Elijah would only let me come to sleep after he had so exhausted that I’ll fall asleep standing,” she says.
“It didn’t start that way, first he was nice, he’s always nice at first until you trust and believe in him enough before he shows his monster side,” AJ was the one to talk out this time.
“I shouldn’t have mentioned that we are married,” I say, I regretted that move.
“He would have known in the end, he wanted you both in here,” Lucas says defending me, forever my friend.
“But why does he want you two here, he sent us, he sent Sophia over for her to get in your bed, he plays with emotions, all vampires are heartless,” AJ says.
“Hey, I’m not heartless,” Sophia whines at the comparison.
“You hardly count as one, you’re young and haven’t spent long with your own kind, the older ones, they don’t have hearts,” AJ says.
“Stop talking about my wife’s heart before I rip yours out, now back to our topic, they are bored, they are having a war for fun, we are getting ready for a war that I have no idea how it would go,” I say, I’ve been getting ready for the war as humans do, not as vampires.
“They play the long run, and the slow game, the cold war was started by bored vampires,” AJ explains to me.
“We have either been getting ready for the wrong kind of war or we should make it our own,” I say with a smile on my face, we can make this into a war that would start and goes fast and furious style.
“I say take it slow for now, wait until he reveals the real war, understand where Rain comes into this, they are going through a war, we should know where we come into this,” AJ says.
“Fine, we’ll stay here until he decides to reveal his plans,” I say with a groan.
“Hey, why don’t I show you my favourite spot in this place,” Saint says, holding my hand and dragging me out of the room.
“I’ll keep Lucas entertained then,” Aj says with a shrug.
“Don’t do anything I would do,” I say out loud, I would try to kill the vampire Lord.
“We won’t,” Lucas calls out.
Sophia led the way, she dragged me out of the house, to the outside, we went toward the backyard and then to a hidden spot, we went there and took a seat.
“How did you find this spot?” I ask her.
“Hiding from Elijah,” she says and it did make a lot of sense, I would hide from that maniac as well.
“Sophia,” I say pulling her closer to me and kissing her on the lips, she tried to push me off first, but I didn’t stop, I kept on kissing her, until she gave into the kiss, kissing me back, I pushed her toward the tree, pushing her shirt open, giving her more kisses.
“Simon, don’t,” she says but it was too late, I was ready to do a lot of things to her right here.
“You know, if Elijah catches you he’d probably ask to get in as well,” a new voice says, one I don’t recognize, I don’t know anyone in this house, so everyone is new to me.
“Eww, Logan! He calls himself my maker and father,” Sophia says.
“So he’s the famous Logan?” I ask taking a step back and looking at him, he was bruised badly, he looked like he’s been through hell and back.
“What happened?” I ask him.
“Daddy’s war,” Logan says with an eye roll.
“Saint, can we trust him?” I ask her.
“Logan, how does it feel ending this war?” she asks him.
“Gladly,” he answers us.
“We need details, about everything,” I say ready to have a seat and talk with Logan.
“I need a drink, or two,” Logan groans, holding his stomach tight.
“I’ll get them,” Saint says taking a step toward the house, she knows where those are.
“And who are you?” he asks me now that we’re alone.
“I’m the Lil-Sinner husband,” I say with a smile on my face.
“Way to go Sophie! You’re a hottie,” he says making me laugh again.
