Simon POV.
“Come on, drop the frown,” I say trying to get her to smile, I wanted to see a smile, I don’t like seeing her that serious, we’re not doing any business right now, she can drop it.
“I don’t like shooting,” she says but I knew she was lying, she’s really good at it to hate it.
“You don’t like shooting or you don’t like where we are?” I ask her, I have a lot of men that hate coming to a shooting range, they prefer to shoot in their backyard.
“Both,” she says with a shrug, if she’s gonna stay with me, if I’m not going to kill her, I need her to be on my side, and that includes shooting.
“Come on, let’s go,” I say holding her hand, going out of the range, handing them back their guns, we have better ones at home anyway.
“Where are we going? Are you mad?” she asks worried about her ass now, I wasn’t going to spank her again, we’re gonna deal with this in another way.
“No, I’m not mad, and you never have to be worried about me being angry at you,” I say angry now at her, why is she so scared of me?
“Okay,” she says her voice still filled with fear, I turned her to face me, pulling her toward me, and both of her hands went up protecting her face, which made me growl.
“Even if I’m mad, I won’t hurt you, the only thing that would ever get me to hurt you is if you cheat on me, walk out on me again and I’m going to kill you this time,” I warn her, I was still mad at her for doing it the first time, I haven’t forgiven her, but I’m working on it.
“I won’t walk out,” she assures me, I doubt she’d dare to do so, not after what happened to her, god knows what kind of hell Elijah had her living through.
“Good, now come on, let’s go have some fun,” I say holding her hand and walking her toward my car, I opened the door for her letting her get in, and putting her seatbelt on for her, I saw her whined when she sat down and I smiled, knowing the reason behind that whine.
“A reminder to obey me,” I say, closing the door and getting in my own seat now.
I drove us to another location, we’re not going home where my men could hear and see us, we’re going somewhere that’s safe and I own as well, it’s a small house in the middle of no where, it’s a perfect place to play shoot.
“Where are we going?” she asks me, seeing us getting away from the city, even in the middle of the city there’s a side that’s in the middle of nowhere, where else do you think all the crimes happens.
“Somehwere, do you need a coffee or something?” I ask her, we can stop by and get a coffee on the way, I could use a pick me up right now.
“A coffee sounds good,” she agrees with me, I stopped the car and ordered two frape for us, I know she enjoyed my dark coffee, but a frape works as well.
“Here you go,” I say and saw her take a big sip, a smile coming to her face, she liked it.
“This is good,” she says drinking the whole thing, I was happy that she’s happy, and I kept on driving.
It took us an hour to get to where we meant to go, it’s a house that’s surrounded by nothing, it’s well kept and cleaned every other week, I parked the car and opened the door for her, a criminal I might be, but I’m also a gentleman.
“Let’s go,” I say with a smile, I went toward the house, and got us some toys to play with.
“Ready?” I ask her, holding three different kind of guns, shotgun, and even a machine gun, wanting her to be familiar with them all.
“Sure,” she says swallowing a lump in her throat, I only smiled assuring her that it’ll all be okay, she doesn’t have to worry about anything around me.
“Go ahead, I want Saint to try not the vampire Saint,” I say remembering how she said she had to give into her killer side to be able to shoot.
“Okay,” she says, aiming toward the targets I have up, this place is my safe house and playground, I come here way too often. She did her first shot and she missed, missed the second, and the third, I had to step in and help her.
“Look, like this, aim with this eye, keep your shoulders straight,” I say coaching her standing right behind her, holding her arms as they are supposed to go.
“I missed,” she whined when she didn’t hit the target, so we went again, and again, aftetr the fifth time she managed to hit the target.
“Now try alone,” I say putting my hands down letting her try.
“I did it! I did it,” she screams happily turning to me with a smile on her face.
“Good girl, now my turn,” I say hitting the same target without even looking.
“Hey! Not fair!” she whines but I only laughed, we kept on shooting, but the weather didn’t agree with us being outside it started raining.
“Damn, I was getting better at it,” she whines, she wanted to keep on shooting, it’s fun when I get to hug her as she kept on shooting.
“So don’t stop, winner picks dinner?” I say a little bit of water won’t hurt, and I’m up for a little competition.
“But it’s raining,” she says in a confused voice, but she was into the competition.
“It’s not raining holy water, you won’t melt keep going,” I say making her roll her eyes at me.
“Fine, I can’t get sick anyway,” she says with a shrug.
“I won’t get sick,” I assure her.
