Nathaniel POV.
‘Iris wants you two to come along,’ my alpha orders me and my brother, I looked at him, and he nodded his head yes before we both answered the alpha telling him we were on our way.
“Have you noticed it?” Nicky says, he doesn’t need to end his sentence for me to understand what he’s saying, we’re always on the same page.
“I did, and he’s too,” I say with a chuckle, we might be laughing now, but if what happened yesterday and this morning keeps on going, the house would be turned into a war zone.
“You need to have a talk with him,” I inform my brother, Seth is jealous of Iris, and Nicholas being his favourite would be the best person to talk to him, not that Iris isn’t jealous back, but she loves us all so far, she doesn’t have a favourite yet.
“I will later,” Nicholas says, getting ready to leave the house, ready to go and catch up with Iris and the alpha.
“Where are they?” my brother asks me leaving the room, getting his shoes on, when I saw the purple boots the alpha got her, my heart melted just a little bit, I was very happy that he got them for her, now she’s not spending her whole day hiding.
“Alpha took her on a ride over Summer,” I inform him, we could get our own horses and follow them, but it’s not just the farm we have to take good care of, we need to take care of the pack, and until their ride ends, we could go and check on them.
The farm is enormous, the house belongs to us, it’s only us who live there, but the rest of the territory belongs to our pack, to the man and women living on the territory, and it’s both of our jobs to check on them, make sure they are always good, fed, and warm before the winter begins.
“Hey guys,” I say coming in their place, the pack has been afraid for a while now, they’ve been staying away from us, avoiding the alpha at all cost, a broken-hearted alpha is a scared one.
“Delta,” the guy says bowing his head to me, I just smile at him, I can’t believe how happy Iris has made us in such a short time, she just managed to get us all smiling and happy now.
“How are you guys doing, how’s everything?” I ask him, checking on the rest of his house members.
“We’re all good, but Delta, may I ask…” he says and then stop, he wants to ask about the alpha, I knew that, I shared a look with Nicholas, waiting for him to say something.
“You can ask,” Nicky assures him.
“We saw the alpha with someone, is he… is it?” he asks, he saw the alpha with Iris and he’s asking if she’s it, I just smile, a big wide smile on my face, she’s definitely it.
“She’s ours now, better show her some respect,” I say making him chuckle, I’m talking about a little who hisses at the alpha, and that’s a big no-no, you never try to challenge the alpha, but she did that since the first day she came over our home.
“Will do deltas,” he says with the biggest stupidest smile on his face, he’s just happy that the alpha is happy again, and he’s not trying to kill anyone.
“We’ll be going,” I say and start the walking in hope to find Iris. I miss her already.
“Daddy, daddy, twinie daddy,” Iris says running toward us, the alpha walking after her, did she just call us?
“Did you just call me?” I ask her picking her up by the waist, throwing her up in the air and then catching her.
“Daddy, make me fly, make fly,” she says, I didn’t mean to throw her so far up in the air, but since she’s so small and light, she just up in the air so high.
“Just cause you called me daddy,” I say throwing her up again, hearing her giggle get louder, her flying felt the same as my heart flying up with happiness that now she’s calling me daddy, well she’s calling all of us, daddy, if she screams, she’ll get all four of our attention.
I bet Seth won’t be so happy about that later, but for now, she’s all that matters for all of us, all of the pack actually she makes the whole pack happy now.
“We should get Zane as well,” Nicky says, Zane is the only one who hasn’t heard his new title yet, but I bet it’ll make him really happy just as us, but for now, the little is mine and my brother.
“Alpha, go check on the pack, we have her,” I say ready to play with her for the whole day, we’re not going home until the nighttime.
