Iris POV.
I sat with Zane and Nathaniel, and soon Nicholas joined as well, he didn’t lie to me they are twins after all, and I’m having fun talking with them two, they kept telling me about the farm and how everything goes around here.
“Who’s in charge of dinner tonight?” the meanie alpha comes back in, ruining my fun, I turned to him hissing at him, I hate him.
“Don’t hiss you brat,” he says, but I hiss some more at him, in response this time he growls at me, a low growl coming from down in his throat, one that scared me.
“Meanie,” I say sticking my tongue out at him, with a bigger pout, getting closer to Zane.
“I’ll do the dinner alpha, you wanna help me?” Zane says offering me a hand, he might be the nicest, but I’m not good with the kitchen, but better to stay away from the meanie alpha.
I went with him, holding his hand as he took me toward the kitchen again, I was ready to sit on the counter again.
“Sorry kitten, you’ll have to take the chair this time,” he says making me pout, why chair? I wanna sit on the counter again, he sat me up on the chair and started grabbing pots and dishes, I pushed my chair closer to the fridge, climbing on top of it, the fridge wasn’t very high, and I managed to get on top of it, sitting there.
“Kitten,” Zane says turning to the side not finding me, he then saw me on top of the fridge.
“What are you doing up there?” he asks me but I just shrug, I wasn’t going down, I’m happy here, he went back to making the dinner, while I lay down on top of the fridge.
“What is she doing up there? You’re not going to cook her are you?” Nathaniel or maybe Nicholas asks coming back into the kitchen.
“No, it’s her new hiding place, I can’t get her to get down,” Zane says finishing cooking.
“I’ll set the table,” one of the twins says, and start setting plates down on the table, there was no lilac fork and spoon for me, nor my special cups, I stayed quiet the whole time, but I did make my mind not to eat.
“Time to get down kitten,” Zane says coming to get me down, but I shook my head no.
“Come on, we need to eat, come down before the grumpy alpha comes back,” Nicholas says, he’s right, I don’t want to see the meanie alpha, I agreed to come down, climbing down on my own, and going to take a random seat, there was no special seat for me, and no daddy to place me in his lap.
“There you go baby,” Zane says handing me a plate with food on it, all cut into smaller pieces and a smaller fork than the rest.
The alpha came in afterwards, he looked at me and then at Zane, what’s up with the grumpy alpha now?
“Little brat, you’re in my seat,” he growls at me, I turned to him, he can’t scare me with growling the whole time, so I turned to him hissing.
“Alpha she’s new, she can have seat for the night, tomorrow I’ll teach her where to sit,” Nathaniel says, the alpha growled some more and took another seat leaving me to pick on my food.
I ate a couple of bite of it, not really enjoying it, and hating the veggies, but no one said anything to me, and now I was done eating, I left the table, seeing all the eyes turn to me as I moved off the table, going to find something to do.
“Sit your ass down, we don’t leave the table until everyone is done,” the alpha growls, why does he keep growling? He’s just a grumpy old man.
“Grumpy old man,” I call him, sitting back in my seat, he’s old, I know he’s hurt, papa said he needs lots of hugs, but I don’t want to hug him, he’s evil and grumpy.
“Brat,” the alpha calls me back.
“Evil,” I say.
“Fussy,” he answers me.
“You are a monkey bum-bum!” I say taking off not caring anymore, I ran off, I didn’t want to go into my room, instead, I went to hide in Zane’s room, hiding under his big bed. I stayed hidden for a long time, I don’t know how long, but I might have cried myself to sleep over there, my ears laying low over my head, my tail making its way to my mouth, sucking on it in a comforting motion, I did that sometimes in hell when I and papa fought over me not eating my veggies or fighting over the baths.
