Iris POV.
Papa had me pack a bag, well not me, he made one of my nannies pack it up, and now I’m here standing with Damon and Cici ready to spend my new life with them. The place was a farm, like the one in my books the ones papa used to read to me, they have ducks, horses, and other animals I didn’t recognize, the place was huge, and I’m going to live here all alone, I held Damon’s hand even tighter.
“I’m going to stay here,” I ask Damon, my lower lip trembling now, this can’t be my new house, it’s scary looking.
“Yeah, you’ll have so much fun,” he assures me but I don’t believe him, it’s the lie papa says before giving me a medicine that’s icky or put me in the bath.
“Lord,” a guy says coming toward us, he got brown curly hair and green eyes, forest green eyes, and then his eyes had like a film over them, they went hazy, and then he came back to earth with us, is he possessed or something?
“Wolf,” Damon answer him, and then a horse comes over with a guy on top of it, the horse was beautiful, but kind of scary, I stayed close to Damon while Cici let go of my hand and went to stand in front of the horse.
“Alpha this is Iris,” Damon introduces me, alpha? Who’s that guy, I don’t like him, but now that I could see him, he’s the same guy from the phone calls the one with blond hair and emerald green eyes, the one who was trying to start a war with papa.
“Lucifer’s heart,” the guy says, he’s the one who demanded to have me, to have lucifer’s heart, me.
He got off the horse and talked with Cici, letting her pet the scary horse, I only saw horses in my stories and I’m too scared to go near them. The other guy the one who welcomed us, turned to me, and he got closer to me with a smile on his face, trying to sound nice and look less scary.
“Hello, I’m Nicholas,” he introduces himself, and I just nod my head yes.
“Why don’t we go in until the alpha’s is done with Summer?” he says, who’s Summer? That’s Cici he’s talking with.
“Okay, how about we go and check your new room Iris?” Damon suggests, going inside the house, although the outside felt like we were living in the wild, the inside of the house was very clean and neat, the guy Nicholas, took his muddy boots off before going in.
“This is a no-shoe point,” he says, but that doesn’t include me and my pink mary janes shoes, they are clean.
“You too kitten,” Damon says going down on his knee to take my shoes off, leaving me just in my white frilly socks.
“Her room is upstairs,” the guy says and we start the walk there, I’m short and I got small feet, they had to wait for me to keep up with them until I made it up the stairs.
There were many closed doors, but the guy kept walking until he got into one door, the room was enormous with a giant bed in the middle, and a big bookshelf of books, and a giant desk, what did they expect Lucifer’s heart to be? A giant? I frowned at the room, this won’t do at all. But the guy didn’t stop, he kept moving opening another door in the room, I expect a closet or a bathroom, but instead, it was another room, a smaller one in size, but still decent with a twin bed placed next to the wall, a giant window with a seat right next to it, and a smaller desk placed on the side, it didn’t have much decoration, just the basics.
“This is her room, we weren’t sure what to put and not, but we’ll sure add things now that she’s here,” The guy says.
“Who’s room is the other one?” Damon asks him.
“The alpha, he needs to keep an eye on her, you know,” Nicholas says.
“You’ll have to add a tone of purple and pastels to the room, a tone of stuffies to keep her entertained and a changing table,” Damon says, I agreed with everything except the last part, they don’t need to know that. I turned to Damon hissing at him, why did he say so?
“A changing table?” the wolf asks us.
“She’s diaper dependent,” Damon says, ignoring me, he’s used to my hissing, but I was mad at him, I slapped his hand away from me and took off running, I don’t want to stay here, I want to go back to my papa, the room is terrible, now I have to share a room with someone I don’t know or like.
