Calesti POV.
“Who are these friends?” I ask Adonis again, he brought me to a fire station, it’s not a fire I’m trying to turn off, or maybe I’m trying to start one, better be ready.
“A vampire, two wolves, a dragon, and two cat shifters. I’d say those would be good help against Trent, and the best part, they all hate him, well the wolves hate everyone, and the dragon loves to chomp people. The two kittens we might leave as backup,” Adonis says, his words assuring and not at the same time, I wasn’t sure how to feel about this helper squad anymore.
“Guys! I’m here,” Adonis yells walking in the station like it owns the place, I followed it inside the station, looking around, these are my saving army, I’m not sure how I feel about them.
“Hey,” two girls ran in and hugged Adonis.
“Meet Iris and Rila, our two resident cat shifters,” Adonis explains to me, I only nod and wave to the two girls, who were now trying to search it for candy, as they mumbled the word.
“Sorry girls, I came right from work,” Adonis explained to them.
“Who’s the girl? She’s a new dancer?” one of the girls asks, I shake my head no, I wasn’t a dancer.
“No, she’s not, is the boss here?” Adonis asks.
“She’s on the phone, she’s been on the phone every day now,” one of the girls says.
“She’s half here half in hell,” the other one says.
“Okay, I’ll go talk to her,” Adonis says walking with me following after him.
We moved into an office, there was a tone of papers scattered around the place, the boss as the girls called her was sitting at the desk, talking on the phone, I was still tired, although the necklace is helping, I’m still tired.
“Hey, boss,” Adonis says, making the woman look up, our eyes met and I could see some familiarity in her face, her eyes were brown now instead of red, and her teeth were human ones and not long fangs.
“Cici?” she asks, I nod, and she stood up, threw the phone and came in to hug me, the last time she saw me, she was so mad at me, she yelled at me for causing trouble for Damon, then she tried to claim me, but now she’s hugging me.
“Aunty Athena,” I mumble my fear still taking charge of me.
“Oh my god, I found you, Damon has been going insane searching for you,” Athena says hugging me again.
“Damon, I want Damon,” I say tears starting to go down my face, I want him so badly, finding Athena only added insult to my injuries, I was hurt.
“You know her Boss?” A new voice asks behind us.
“She’s Damon’s girl, the one we were searching for,” Athena explains, they were looking for me?
“So now we get to chomp your jerk of a brother?” the same voice asks, yes, please chomp Trent away.
“All in time,” Athena says turning her attention back to me, she wiped my tears away, kissed the top of my head, and assured me I’m safe.
“Where’s Damon?” I ask her, I want him, why isn’t he here?
“Oh sweet baby,” she says hugging me, but that isn’t an answer, where is Damon!
“Damon, aunty, where’s he?” I ask her, once I find him, he’ll be able to get my powers back, he’ll kick Trent’s bum, and we’ll live happily ever after.
“Damon, he got really mad after you left,” she starts, I nod my head, yes, waiting for the rest to come.
“He kind of started a fight with Lucifer,” she says, uh-oh, this isn’t good.
“But he won,” I say, he’s daddy, he should win, he always wins.
“No, he got punished, he’s locked in hell for the next couple of years, or until Lucifer isn’t so mad at him anymore,” she says.
“Ohhhh…” I say looking at her, this is bad, this is really bad now.
“Yeah, things aren’t so good, but no worries, we’ll solve this up,” she says, but I’m not sure we could.
“Trent stole my powers,” I say.
“And things just got worse,” Athena says with a groan, they did.
“Take me to hell!” I demand from Athena.
“Take you back? Lucifer would just hand you over back to Trent,” Athena says, but I was so angry, I didn’t care.
“Athena, take me back to hell or I’ll find a way there,” I say through gritted teeth, I still got my spell book, I’m sure there’s a hell spell here or there.
“Are you sure you want to go there? It’s hot and filled with bad guys,” the girl says from behind me again.
“I’ve been out of hell for centuries and I don’t plan on going there, sorry bestie,” Adonis says raising both hands in surrender.
