Calesti POV.
“Rise and shine princess,” I heard the annoying demon lord call, it was nice when he tucked me in, but waking up is a choice I make on my own and can’t be forced into it, I groaned in answer, not ready to wake up.
“Come on sweetie, we got a full day ahead of us,” he says opening the canopy, letting light hit my face, I held on to Giggles hiding my face from the morning sun.
“Nu wanna,” I whine instead, trying to get some more sweet sleep.
“Yes, you want to,” he says picking out of the crib and placing me on the changing table. He stripped me naked making my whole body shiver with how cold it is and whine more.
“I’ll be quick,” he promises getting me dressed in a new clean diaper, followed by a onesie that snapped between my things, and a skirt on top, finishing the look with high knee socks to keep me warm.
He sat me up on the table and did my hair, brushing through it, styling it with care, I never look this good on a daily basis when my hair gets too tangled I use magic to brush it through.
Now that he’s done, he carried me down the stairs leaving Giggles in bed, the poor thing should get some more sleep, he placed me on one of the kitchen chairs.
“We’re going shopping today, I don’t have much human food around here, what do you like to eat?” He asks, that was easy.
“Nuggies,” I say all sure of myself.
“What else? Other than nuggies?” He says, I thought about it really hard.
“Pasta, candy! Ice cream,” I yelled the last one.
“Inside voices Calesti, candy and ice creams are deserts,” he explains to me but I always eat them as meals.
“Do you like chicken? Beef? Fish?” He asks.
“Nu icky bones,” I say making a face, I won’t eat any of those.
“Noted, anything else” he keeps on asking.
“Nu weird textures,” I say, he nods again yes.
“Are you allergic to anything? Lactose intolerant?” He asks, but I shook my head no.
“That’s good, I’m making you breakfast, after we eat, we’re going shopping,” he says, I’ve never been to a real store before, I always order my food online, too afraid of actually going, as I said, witches aren’t very loved in our community.
“I’m not hungry,” I say trying to get off the chair, ready to leave.
“Sit your bum down, if you don’t eat, we’re not going anywhere,” he says in a really firm voice making tears start to swell up in my eyes, I want to go now.
“Don’t cry princess,” he says, but too late, he already made me cry, I don’t want to eat now.
He got a plate with food on it, he sat opposite to me and tried to feed me, but I kept shaking my head no, not wanting to eat.
“Just a couple tablespoons,” he promises trying to feed me the oat he made for me, it did include some fruits, ones that I eat, I did have a couple of spoons, and finally was allowed to leave!
“How are we going?” I ask him, is he going to teleport us there? But that’s not fun at all.
“In a car,” he says with a shrug, he cleaned my face, and held my hand out of the house, we took an elevator, I found out that are really up in the sky, the number was bigger than ten, and I don’t want to think about it.
“You drive?” I ask him, I never learned how to drive, my parents never gave me a car, and I was too scared to ask for one, or even try, what if my little me took over while driving.
“I do,” he answers, it took us forever, to get down, we went down below the ground where the parking was, he took my hand again and walked between all the new fancy cars, this building is super fancy, even the cars are. He opened the door to a black car with tinted windows, I expect to sit front next to him, instead, he opened the back door, picked me up and placed me in what I guess is a car seat, I began to scream right away.
“Calesti, Calesti, shush, little thing,” he says landing a slap on my thigh, I looked at him with a big pout on my face now.
“I don’t wanna sit here,” I say trying to push the straps away from me, I could undo them with magic.
“I can call a babysitter then,” he says starting to get the straps off, making me scream out loud.
“What do you want then Calesti? Sit down and be a good girl? Or should I call a babysitter to sit with you,” he says, that’s not an option.
“I wanna go,” I say.
“Then you’ll sit in your seat,” he says making me groan, no fair, but I nod agreeing, I want to go.
“Good girl princess, you can choose some candy when we get there,” he promises, kissing the top of my head.
