Bambi POV.
“Say it again,” I say when the freezing phase passed, I had to talk, I had to give him an answer, any kind of answer.
“Would you be mine?” he asks me again this time with a smile on his face.
“Again,” I say a smile starting to break on my face, I never had anyone ask me to be his.
“Would you make me the happiest wolf in this district and be my little?” he asks me this time, the smile got even bigger on my face.
“Again,” I say, the excitement having my heart beating a million beats per minute.
“Do you agree to not be you and me anymore, but to become us?” he says pointing at the two of us.
“Yeah,” I say nodding.
“Say it again,” he says getting up from the floor, trapping me between the counter and his body.
“Yes,” I say nodding even more this time.
“No, no again,” he says making me giggle this time, he’s playing my same game, not calling me annoying or demanding an answer right away.
“Yes, Christopher, yes,” I say with an even louder giggle this time, I couldn’t hold it back, it’s like the sun has come up, my sun did, and I’m the bird singing all happily.
“Ahhh!” he says crushing me in a bear hug, making my giggle get even louder now.
“We should leave this cold place, you’re never ever coming back, you’re mine now,” he says, twirling me around, he’s a possessive wolf, but I loved it, I loved being claimed this way, I never had anyone to claim me until now.
“All yours,” I agree with him, I loved being his now, he carried me out of the cold house, I was finally feeling warm, and the coldness inside my soul has changed into warmness.
He left the house and moved to his car, he had to put me down now, I sat in the passenger seat as we drove us off, out of the saddest district ever, and off to, I didn’t know where we are going, back to the company I’m guessing.
“Where are we going?” I ask him after a second thought, I should know where he’s driving me.
“Home,” he answers me with a smile, he looked like he just won the jackpot.
“What home?” I ask him, I didn’t have a home, we left that one.
“Mine, well ours, it’s ours from now on,” he says making me blush all red, ours? Our home.
We went down to the wolf district, this is where everything started, back, way back when I first took over mom’s job, the house I worked in was around here, and now I’m back here, we didn’t pass by the same house, but I knew deep inside, that I was in peace with that place, in peace with what happened, everything that happened was for a reason. And now here I’m, I’m leaving my past behind me, life was hard, it was cold, but it made me into what I’m now, and now I’m with Christopher.
“This is the alpha’s home,” he says, I knew that, I visited Colin a couple times since he moved in with the alpha and I knew her house.
“Is this where you live?” I ask him, would be living in the same place as the alpha, with Colin again?
“No, but sometimes I sleep over here, everyone who’s high up in the pack does,” he says, and I just nod.
“It’s the alpha, she’s our alpha as you could guess, then her beta who’s Peter, and then comes me as her delta,” he says, wow, he’s so up in the pack ranks, I never knew that.
“Wow, you’re the boss?” I ask him.
“I’m,” he says all proudly, but I wanted to be a boss too, but that would have to wait for later.
“Where do you live?” I ask him again, if not with the alpha, I just hoped he lives nearby so I could still meet with Colin all the time.
“Right here,” he says parking in front of a house, it wasn’t as big as the others, it wasn’t the alpha’s mansion, it was just a two-story house, small and cosy, it felt so warm, with the red roof and the matching red door.
“This is your home?” I ask him, this was the perfect house, I’ve been into a lot of supernatural places, but this one felt perfect.
“No, this is our home,” he answers making me smile from ear to ear.
“I love it,” I say unable to hold my happiness anymore, I was practically jumping in my seat now.
He opened his door first going out of the car warning me to stay in, the smile dropped from my face, that until he came to my side and opened the door for me, and held my hand.
“You never open your own door, that’s my job,” he says in confidence, he’s such a gentleman.
We got to the door, and he opened it, before I could go in, he pulled me back, he picked me up bridal style and then walked in the house.
“Welcome home little deer, let me show you around,” he says still carrying me, first we are met with a small room with coats hung against the wall along with umbrellas.
As he walked in, we met with a living room, he had real sofas, with throw-on blankets placed everywhere, with a fireplace in the corner, I can’t wait to cuddle over there where it’s warm and spend the very long nights, drinking coffee.
“This is the kitchen, I’m not the best cook, but I’ll never let you go hungry,” he says showing me his modern kitchen that looked spotless, I believe him, he doesn’t cook.
“Okay,” I say with a smile.
“You can take anything from the kitchen except the candy, you have to ask me first,” he says reminding me of the rules we agreed on before.
Next, he showed me his home office and the backyard that was open up to the forest, it’s all connected, maybe I can talk him into showing me his wolf form.
He got up the stairs next, showing me the guest bedroom first, then a room that’s meant for my little self it was decorated with soft colours and filled with toys, all the ones I enjoyed back in the company, and finally, we moved to the last room, his bedroom.
“This is where you’ll be sleeping of course,” he says placing me on his bed, the room was enormous, the biggest room in the whole house with his giant bed, a desk, a bookshelf filled with books and a bathroom connected to it, the whole place seemed to be out of my dreams.
