“Are you out of your mind? How could you come up with such a crappy idea?” Rosiley was thinking to herself.
“Actually… it’s not impossible,” Sachin said.
“Huh?” Rosiley raised her head and looked at him in disbelief.
“I hadn’t misheard him, had I? He did say that it wasn’t impossible, right?”
Sachin roughly scanned the profit report and went on to say in an unhurried manner, “The Group has done pretty well over the last few years. Their assets are making a profit, and their financial situation is also pretty good. However, they are obviously losing momentum.”
Rosiley understood and said, “What you are saying is that the company won’t develop so smoothly in the future, and they might even make a loss, right?”
“Smart girl, that’s exactly what I mean.”
Having been praised, Rosiley smiled shyly.
With a sign of appreciation in his eyes, Sachin continued to say, “From what we know now, the Group’s priority is in the running of shopping centers. However, with the Internet developing so fast, it has brought many conveniences to people, such as online shopping. As a result, the conventional shopping pattern at shopping centers will undoubtedly decline.”
What he said was indeed a major issue. Rosiley thought about it for a moment and asked, “What do you think we should do then?”
It did not need to be mentioned that he was destined to be the successor of the Lu Family, the head of the Four Major Families, and the fact that he was able to run Thunderbolt Entertainment Group so well already said a lot about how extremely competent he was.
Therefore, he had to have a way to deal with the problem of the Group.
“Don’t stand still and refuse to make progress. You must develop new industries.” As he said this, Sachin typed a line on her file titled— “The development of the Group in the next decade.”
“The Group will expand into the film and television industry and jointly invest in the filming of a significant IP masterpiece together with Thunderbolt Entertainment Group.”
Rosiley went closer to take a peek, and as soon as she saw “film and television”, she exclaimed, “Seriously? A major IP masterpiece?”
“And it would be a collaboration with Thunderbolt Entertainment Group! Was he really not joking?”
She turned her head to look at him suspiciously.
Sachin easily saw through her mind, and said with a smile, “As long as you can get the chairman position at the Group, Thunderbolt Entertainment Group will propose a collaboration immediately.”
This meant that he was serious about it.
A smile of joy and excitement slowly spread across her face, and she could no longer conceal how thrilled she was. She spread her arms and hugged him. “Sachin, I love you so much. You are really my lucky star!”
And she had thought it was just her wishful thinking; never would she have expected him to be genuinely willing to collaborate with the Group.
With this collaboration, she now had a much better chance to win at the board meeting.
Sachin couldn’t help laughing and pretended to ask discontentedly, “If I didn’t help you, would you no longer love me?”
“No way! I would love you regardless of whether you help me or not!” Rosiley rubbed against his shoulder like a little girl.
“That’s more like it.” Sachin embraced her with a smile of joy in his pitch-black eyes.
Rosiley leaned her head on his shoulder with an even wider smile on her face.
She wasn’t lying when she said he was her lucky star. Ever since she met him, she was able to come out of any kind of trouble safe and sound.
That was why she said that he was her lucky star.
The study was quiet and warm, and they embraced one another quietly. Outside the window behind them, the moon had quietly climbed up into the sky, shining the cold moonlight onto the world.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door, followed by Auntie Wu’s wary voice.
“Young Master, Young Madam, the food is getting cold, please come downstairs for dinner.”
Rosiley looked at Sachin and smiled. She pulled him up and said, “Come on, let’s go eat.”
