Scott POV.
I’m taking her to work with me, I loved my work, I really enjoy my work, I love the people I work with, but now I’m taking my soul along with me, and I’m worried, I’m scared, I don’t know why I’m terrified, what if she hates the people I work with, or what if the people I work with where the one who hate her!
I heard my two alphas mates talk during the early morning, I woke up to every move they did, I wasn’t used to sharing beds, and especially not with three people, I didn’t expect to be sharing a bed with them three, and I don’t plan on making that a constant thing.
They talked about hugging her, about her being one’s favourite, and I did my best to keep my thoughts to myself, although we have already had sex, and I should add that it was some great sex, but I wasn’t ready to open the bond with them, let them hear my thoughts and hear theirs, they were allowing me in, but I wanted to keep some distance between us, I wanted to stay out of it for a bit.
I felt them leave the bed and finally she moved toward me and hugged me, it was my turn to have her giving me cuddles instead of the other two, I cuddled her back, and took deep breaths, enjoying her smell and how she feels in my arm, she felt like a safety net, she felt like my soul mixed with my two mates, she felt like happiness.
When I got her in my arms, I was happy, I relaxed and went back to sleep, no wonder they were fighting over who got her to sleep in their arms, this was the best feeling in the whole wide world, and I had her right here with me. I fell back to sleep happily, only waking up to small fingers poking my eyes, I tried to move my head and get some peaceful sleep, but the small hands kept going, waking me up from my nice slumber.
“Hey,” I groan, at the person who’s poking me.
“Wake up, wake up,” she whines, the little Bug says waking me up.
“What’s wrong bug?” I ask her, it’s too early to wake up, I think.
“I’m awake, can you wake up?” she says.
“Why? Sleep is good,” I answer her.
“They left, and I don’t want to get up alone,” she says.
“Okay, I’m up, I don’t have anything in here, do you mind if we go home so I can get ready?” I ask her, we’re going to go spend the day over at my work still, but I need to be ready as well.
“I’ll get ready,” she says trying to get out of the bed but she was stopped by my arms around her, I didn’t want to let her go and I didn’t plan on doing so, but when she pushed she managed to ge me to leave her for a bit.
She went toward the bathroom and took her time getting ready, wahsing up, and using the facility, before she came back and picked her clothes, she looked so adorable wearing a sundress, she started doing her hair, and I decided to help her, I did play with my sisters hair before, and I loved styling it for them.
“Let me do it,” I say taking the brush out of her hand and styling it for her, she had great hair, soft and smooth, perfect, everything about her was simply perfect.
“You like it?” I ask her, after I was done.
“Milo and James can’t do that, although James says he’s my daddy, he’s a bad one, he can’t do hair,” she answers me with a big pout.
“It’s okay sweetie, I’ll do your hair and he can help you with other things,” I offer her and she nods with the same pout on her face.
She got her stuff ready for the day, I held her hand as we left the house, we said goodbye to the alpha, Luna, and her brother, I didn’t know she had a brother around here, yesterday was a day filled with so much action that I wasn’t paying attention to anything but her and my two mates.
“This is my brother Finn, I don’t think you two met,” she says introducing us.
“Who’s this one?” Finn asks his sister.
“I had a third wolf,” she says happily.
“And I only got one? How the hell did you get so many?” Finn asks her.
“I’m lucky,” She answers him.
“She’s picked by the goddess, some souls are lucky or maybe it’s us,” I say with a smile on my face.
“You’re a nice one, god be with you,” Finn says as we left, we’re going to have breakfast with the guys, instead of eating here or at home.
We got in my car and I drove her to my place, it’s not too far away, from the alpha’s house, it wasn’t my choice to live so near but I was forced to do so by Alpha Elijah in case he needed my medical help in the middle of the night. He’s one crazy bastard but he loves his Luna and we all stand witness for that love.
“Where do you work?” She asks me maybe just to open conversation or maybe she forgot what my job is.
“I work in the firefighter department, you’ll get to meet everyone,” I explain to her.
“Do you have a pole and everything?” She asks me.
“Yeah, and you can go down on it if you want,” I say with a big smile on my face, making her smile as well, we give tours to kids all the time, sometimes adults come in and ask to look around, half of the guys are wolves like me, so they would know how do deal with my soul.
“Do you fight fires or just save girls from car accidents?” She asks me making me chuckle, we met when I saved her from a car accident.
“Remind me, how did you end up against that tree?” I say with a raised brow.
“My uncle is a terrible teacher,” she says shaking her hand to the memory.
“What the Luna doesn’t know how to drive? When he started driving, after the alpha’s lessons which mostly ended up with them having sex all around town, all the pack was ordered to get out of his way when he passes,” I say remembering those days, they felt like a nightmare but thankfully he got the hang of driving quickly.
“Was he that bad?” She asks laughing.
“Oh he was terrible,” I say laughing as well.
“James promised to buy me a car if I stop trying to learn on my own,” she confess.
“I’ll hold him up to it, after this whole things ends,” I say.
“Oh, Scotty, can I drive the fire truck?” She asks me excited all of the sudden.
‘Hello no!’ I say in my head but those words didn’t leave my mouth, instead I had to calm down and talk to her in a calm voice.
“Sweetie, if James isn’t approving of you driving a car he won’t be approving of you driving a fire truck, plus it’s against the rules to allow anyone to drive them,” I say and that answer was enough to satisfy her.
“You wanna come in or wait for me?” I ask her.
“Come in,” she says following me inside the house, it wasn’t empty, I don’t live alone in here.
“KOOKIE! Where are you,” I yell coming in.
“Cookie?” She repeat confused until a small furr ball the color of white and orange runs towards us.
“Kookie, my cat,” I introduce them.
“You got a cat!” She says excitedly.
“Yeah, this is Kookie, she needs food and some attention while I get dressed,” I say going into the kitchen handing Stella a can of food, pointing to bet bowl and then leaving to get dressed.
I could hear her talk with Kookie, telling her to slow down, and wait until she poors the food, I even heard her scream once and I knew Kookie has found it’s way on the counter.
“You okay?” I call as I was brushing my teeth, it sounded muffled but she understood me.
“I’m fine, no worries,” she calls back and then turn to the cat, she’s only seven months old, I have found her stuck in my car tiers in the wintet and I didn’t have the heart to let her go, she was just a baby who lost her mother, so I kept her.
“Bad kitty, wait for me and don’t scare me,” she scolds the cat.
I finished getting ready and packed some extra clothes to throw in my car in case I stay over another night, or maybe they can come and have a sleep over at my place.
“All ready,” I inform the princess, she had my Kookie, the cat that I’ve raised and still would bites me all the time eating out of the palm of her hand, allowing her to pet her all over.
“I love your cat,” she says.
“Ours,” I say without thinking.
“Huh?” She says confused.
“Kookie, she’s our cat now, everything I own is yours as well,” I say and I see her cheeks tinting red.
“Thank you Scotty,” she says in a low timid voice.
“Come on let’s go, I’m gonna be late for my shift,” I say, we weren’t late, but I wanted her to meet everyone before they go on a mission, hopefully no emergencies or fires go off until she meets my second family in the station.
“Okay, bye kitty,” she waved goodbye to the cat and joins me back in my car.
The station was a longer ride, it’s in the middle of the town, where most of the humans live, but we get calls from the wolves often, sometimes from neighbouring packs as well, for creature who are near immortal we sure as hell are reckless and bored line crazy.
“They are my second family, some of them are wolves just like us, can you tell wolves and humans apart?” I ask her.
“Not really,” she says with a blush on her face, I loved the blushing the way her whole face turns red every time she’s feeling a bit shy.
“The easiest way is by smell, you take a deep breath, there’s this specific smell of wolves, I bet you’re just too used to it being around us all the time,” I say.
“So if people don’t smell like I’m used to they are humans?” She ask me and I turn to her with a raised brow.
“That’s a way to look at it,” I say, not thinking of it that way, but it was a smart thing to say.
“So is it wrong?” She asks worriedly.
“No, you do that and if you’re not sure assume they are humans. I’m introducing you as my girlfriend, and the wolves would know you’re my soul, is that okay?” I ask her just to be sure with her.
“I’m your girlfriend, you saved me from a crash, that’s romantic,” she says with a sigh and I knew she’s gonna fit right in with the insanity that’s the firefighter house.
We have our leader who’s a wolf from a different pack his name is Lion more of a nickname but no one dare to call him his real name, we got his second in command a human who’s also his soul Eliot, three more wolves from my pack Mason, Lucien, and Chris.
I’m the final wolf in the house, and the rest are humans, I made sure to introduce her to the wolves first, I saw her trying to sniff them around, I’ll have yo explain that later, but seeing that she’s my soul she was welcomed right in.
The one and only problem happened to be Laura, a human who has a crush on half of the station.
