Stella POV.
‘Guys, walk ahead,’ I tell my two wolves when they don’t move on their own, I’m standing here waiting for them to lead the way.
“If you’re waiting for them to lead the way, you shouldn’t be doing that, you’re a Luna now, you walk ahead,” his father says and I looked at them again, hoping they’d walk along with me, Milo gave me a small nudge with his nose pushing me forward, I started to walk toward his father.
“Hello, I’m Stella,” I introduce myself.
“No love, you’re Luna Stella now, and I’m alpha Jayden,” he says shaking hands with me.
“Nice meeting you,” I say blushing at him.
“The pleasure is all mine,” he says looking at me and making the blush get worse, I hoped one of the guys would walk in and help me out here, but they didn’t, they left me standing there alone.
“I’m Jasper, his beta,” The guy next to him introduces himself, I have heard his voice before, he’s the one that scares Calesti.
“Nice meeting you,” I say with a smile, he too shook hands with me, I stood there like an idiot, looking back waiting for someone to say something or do something.
“You don’t have to stay with us, you can go and play with the others,” Jasper suggests, I looked back and saw some new wolves running in, but I didn’t recognize any of them.
“Is Cici here?” I ask hoping she’d be here to spend some time with me.
“I don’t think she’s here, but you should try to get to know the rest,” Milo’s father, alpha Jayden says.
‘Come on, I’ll introduce you to the rest,’ Milo says trying to pull me away with his teeth, he’s being very careful not to hurt me, but his teeth were very close to my skin.
We walked toward the wolves, there’s so many of them, jumping on top of each other, biting each other, I was kind of worried about them, were they hurting each other? Or just playing? I’m just standing here looking at them all waiting for them not to eat me.
‘This is Stella,’ Milo says, he’s talking to them and me, I could hear him talking, but can’t hear their replies.
‘They want to play with you,’ Milo says to me, translating.
“Play with me?” I ask out loud, I played with Milo and Theo, but I don’t know if I trust the rest of the wolves and the fact that they won’t eat me alive.
‘Don’t be scared,’ Milo assures me, but I was scared.
The wolves who were playing with each other tried to include me in, they tried to jump on me and play with me like they did with each other, but their pushes and jumps hurt, so I tried my best to get away from them, I pulled back and ended up hiding behind Theo.
‘Wanna try something new?’ Theo asks me.
‘Yes!’ I say right away, I swear one of the wolves was trying to kill me, and if it wasn’t for Milo she would have bitten my head off.
‘Jump on my back,’ he says, and I obey right away, if I jump on top of him, I’ll be the one winning, at least I wouldn’t be losing anything.
‘Hold tight to me,’ Theo orders me, and I do that, placing both hands around his neck, holding tightly to his fur, the girl, I think it’s a she-wolf, I wasn’t really looking to check, too worried that she’ll kill me for sure this time.
Theo started to run, I screamed with fear making Milo turn to us with wide eyes, he tried to yell back at us, mostly Theo telling him to let me go, but I didn’t want him to let me go, I was happy over the fact that we’re getting away from the rest of the wolves, they weren’t that nice to me.
We ran away for a couple of miles and finally, he stopped, letting me down, I was laughing, I really loved the run, I could never run that fast, and we made it away from the meanie wolves.
“Are you going to shift back?” I ask him with a big smile on my face, and she shakes his head no, he is coming closer to me, and the smile falls, was he going to hurt me?
Theo nuzzles my neck, leaving air kisses all over my neck, making me melt in his arms, I loved the gentle touches and kisses, I enjoyed those a lot.
“You’re not that bad Mr bad Boy,” I say to him, and he chuckles a wolf chuckle, it’s kind of scary, and doesn’t sound like anything that should come out of a giant wolf’s mouth.
‘I’m sorry for being an asshole to you, but sharing you has been hard,’ Theo says going back to nuzzling my neck.
“So no more being mean?” I ask him just to be sure.
‘I’ll try,’ he promises me, and I just smile, it’s better than nothing, it’s a promise.
“Who’s that wolf that kept trying to unalive me?” I ask him, meaning the one who kept trying to bite my head off.
‘She’s just playing,’ Theo assures me, but I don’t believe him.
“Who’s she?” I ask him again.
‘Her name is Ava, she used to have a crush on me,’ Theo says and it’s my turn to get angry, I’m the one who’s pissed, the smile on my face turned into a frown, and I was ready to kill a bitch.
‘Why are you so angry?’ Milo voice comes through our bond, I don’t answer him, did she have a crush on Milo too? Do I have to kill a bitch?
‘I think our soul is jealous,’ Theo says laughing, if chuckling sounded funny, this laugh sounded crazy weird.
“I’m not jealous,” I assure them, but the words sounded like they are laced with venom leaving my mouth.
“She’s jealous,” Alpha Jayden says walking toward our hiding spot, how come everyone was coming over, we should be staying alone.
“I’m not jealous,” I say with a giant pout on my face, hoping Milo would come in and save me, but he wasn’t here sadly.
“If you want Milo you should call Milo, or even better use your bond to call him,” Alpha Jayden says.
“How…” I ask him, how did he read me so easily.
“How to call him? You just have to think of him and think of the words,” he says with a chuckle.
‘She means how could we read her?’ Theo says through the bond.
“That’s easy Luna, you need to learn to put your emotions under control, you share too much, you share how you feel and what you’re thinking of easily,” Alpha Jayden says.
“Oh,” I say, I didn’t know that I share too much, I didn’t want to share too much.
‘You can share all you want, we’ll be right her for you,’ Milo says, walking toward me in his wolf form, he nuzzled me the same way that Theo did, and then he nuzzled Theo’s neck, in a more pationate way, in a more loving way.
‘He’s my mate/boyfriend now, you can’t be jealous,’ Milo says and I rolled my eyes at them.
“Yuck, eww, are those readble enough alpha?” I say out loud asking Alpha Jayden for his opinion.
“Loud and clear,” he say laughing out loud, “I like you girl,” he adds making me smile.
“So how do I start hiding my emotions?” I ask them.
“Jasper will be giving you some private lessons,” alpha Jayden says.
‘No! I’ll teach her,’ Theo says right away, and although I wasn’t that good with reading their emotion, I could tell that Theo wasn’t that happy.
‘I’ll teach her,’ Milo says sounding less angry, but he too wanted to be the one teaching me.
“You two are too soft and are her wolves, it’ll take her forever to learn anything around you,” Alpha Jayden says in a final word, and I didn’t get why we had to obey him.
‘Being the alpha means we have to obey him,’ Milo says.
“But you’re the alpha too,” I say out loud, he’s the alpha too, why does he have to obey him too?
“I’m the older alpha, and I’m the one in charge,” Alpha Jayden says, he sounded like the big bad ass alpha, but then a smaller sized wolf came toward him, the wolf jumped into his chest landing in his hands, did Milo have a younger sibling?
“Amelia,” Alpha Jayden says hugging the small wolf.
‘This is my mother, and my dad’s soul,’ Milo introduces.
“But she’s a wolf, I thought souls are humans,” I question.
“After a while they could shift into wolves too, you’ll be able to do it in the end,” Alpha Jayden says, looking into the eyes of the wolf in his arms.
The wolf finally turned into a human, she turned into a young woman, she didn’t look too old, but how could she be Milo’s mother? Maybe it’s a wolf thing.
‘It’s a wolf thing,’ Both Milo and Theo say through the bond.
“You want to say hello,” Jayden says to Amelia.
“Hello, so you’re Stella,” She says standing on her own, coming toward me, she gave me a hug.
“Yeah, I’m her, nice meeting you,” I say hugging her back.
“I can’t wait to get to know you some more,” she says with a big smile on her face.
“Me too,” I agree not sure what to say to her anymore.
“So tell me, are the boys giving you hard time? I remember when I first met Jayden, he wanted to put me in a cage, still does,” she says with a chuckle.
“Theo promised to stop being an A-hole, and Milo has a crush,” I confess to her.
“You got him to promise already? I only managed to get Jayden to promise me that after we got Milo,” she says with a chuckle.
“I’m not that bad,” Jayden growls.
“Right, he’s worst,” she chuckles, we locked arms and started to walk away, she was the one leading the way since she’s more familiar with this whole area.
She kept talking to me, telling me about the life with wolves, we looked behind and saw three guys walking after us, she just shrugged it off and said we should count them as out bodyguards, the ones that would never leave us alone.
“But do they all start like stupid?” I ask her, Theo was psycho, and Milo had me falling for him while kept some distance.
“Yeah, I guess it’s in their wolf gene, they have to be mean first, and then stupid, until they finally learn how to deal with their souls, but they would go insane without us,” she says giving me more information, maybe I do need some classes with other wolves so I’d learn about this new life.
