Stella POV.
“Will he always be that angry?” I asked Milo, I didn’t end up leaving, I stayed over at his place, I didn’t want to leave his arms, or leave his place, I was just happy in here, well happier.
“He’s just jealous,” Milo says with a shrug, still hugging me, we have moved from his office to the living room, sitting on the sofa, hugging, and cuddling.
“Why? Didn’t your experiment show that I hold both of your souls? Still not happy about it,” I say with sass.
“The spanking threat still there,” he warns me and I pout.
“You can’t really spank me, I swear I’m a big girl,” I say trying to explain to him that I’m not a child.
“Of course Lil-star, you’re a very big girl, and even my big girl can be a little one, and she’ll have her bum tanned if she keeps saying that she doesn’t want our souls,” Milo says.
“Milo, shouldn’t you be telling me that it’s going to be all okay, and I should be happy about holding your soul?” I ask him, trying not to show how anxious all of this is making me.
“Princess, you’re my treasure, I’d burn the whole world to see you smile,” he promised me, and I believed him, I believed the promise he just gave me, he would do it, no doubts.
“But what about me, why would I be happy?” I ask him, my cheeks turning red.
“Well love, to begin with, you have a wolf, and not just any wolf, you got an alpha who’d be standing right behind you, and if burning the whole world for you isn’t enough, then you should know that I’d do anything for you, I’ll be your best friend, a lover, a daddy, anything you want or need,” he promises me hugging me tighter, I didn’t want him to let go, I was very happy about this hug.
“Milo, what about when I could hear you in my head?” I whisper to him, it happened not too long ago, can we do it again? Or is it just because they were fighting?
“That’s one of being a soul advantages,” Milo says with a big smile on his face.
“I didn’t know there were advantages other than the fact that you’d burn the world for me,” I said with a shrug and he laughed at me.
“No that’s a given, being your wolf, I’d do anything for you, but you got some advantages,” he says with a smile, he pushed me a tiny bit away from him and made me sit facing him now.
“Yeah? And what are those?” I ask him, wanting to know some more about all the advantages I get out of this.
“Didn’t Theo tell you anything?” he asks and I roll my eyes at him, that’s not even close.
“He was busy being a psycho,” I answer him.
“Typical Theo,” he says with a sigh, and so I poke him, over and over again, until he gives me his attention again.
“Yes?” he says out loud.
“Tell me now,” I whined.
“Patience,” he scolds, and I roll my eyes at him waiting for him to tell me the details.
“When you’re a wolf’s soul you can talk to them without really talking, through our bond, we have one now, and you can talk to me there,” he says and I nod, that’s what happened back in the woods.
“Can I do it now?” I ask him.
“You can do it all the time, even if we’re far away from each other,” he assures me.
“What about Theo?” I ask him.
“If you think of me, you’d be talking to me, if you think of him, you’d be talking to him, and you can talk to the both of us at the same time,” Milo assures me.
“How do I do it?” I asked him, I had no idea how to actually do it.
“Well, you did it more than once,” he says and I looked at him with a raised brow, I don’t think I have done that.
“Nu-uh, I didn’t,” I say with a big pout.
“You told me that you love my hugs, that’s why I’ve been holding you the whole time,” Milo says.
“I didn’t say it,” I say shocked.
“I don’t think that you meant to do it, but you thought it so loud that I could hear it,” he says bopping my nose, trying to make it sound like it’s okay and not very embarrassing.
“Can you like read my mind?” I ask him, feeling the urge to cry again.
“Read your mind? Not really, but if you think hug me-hug me, too loudly, I can’t help but hug you,” he says hugging me tightly.
“That’s not nice Milo,” I say with a big pout pushing him off me.
“Fine, how about I teach you how to talk to me here?” he says pointing to my head.
“Okay,” I say still pouting, waiting for him to explain how I can do it.
“You think of me,” he says and I nod, I could think of him, that’s not that hard especially when he’s sitting right in front of me.
“Now think of whatever you want to tell me,” he says and I had to think of something, what should I tell him?
‘Hello, Milo,’ I say through our bond and he smiles, so maybe he did hear me?
‘What are you so worried about, I’d love you no matter what,’ he answers me.
“Milo!” I yell out loud, I didn’t say any of those words, I just thought about messing up communication with him, and that he’d hate me for not being able to talk with him through this stupid bond.
“The bond isn’t stupid, and I’m not reading your mind, it’s what you’re thinking of,” Milo says and I groaned.
“I don’t want to think anymore, this isn’t fun,” I groaned.
“Fine, don’t think,” he says hugging me tight again.
“It’s not fair that you keep hugging me, you don’t know me,” I whined.
“The goddess trusts you enough to hand you, my soul, I know you enough, and you love being hugged,” Milo answers me.
“What goddess?” I ask him next.
“The goddess of the moon Celine, she’s the one who picks the wolf’s soul and decides who to give it over to, and we trust her, and if she gave you my soul, I should trust her,” he says and I nod, that was interesting.
“What else?” I asked him, I loved hearing stories.
“Being my soul means you’re kind of famous, everyone in the pack would want to know you,” he says.
“Does that mean the royals in school?” I ask him.
“The royals in school are mostly made of the strongest wolves in the packs, and it’s not just ours,” he answers me.
“How many packs there are?” I ask him.
“Too many Lil-Star, every alpha can start a pack of its own, as long as he got some followers and his own Luna,” he says giving me a smile.
“What’s a Luna?” I ask him.
“You, my soul,” he says with a smile.
“Oh, but what about Theo? You called him your mate,” I say.
“My mate as in a romantic way,” he says and I turned bloody red, I was good staying out of this.
“I should go home,” I say, it’s getting late, school time is over, and I should be getting back home.
“Why? Can’t you stay?” he whines sounding like a child, look at who’s the little one now.
“No, mom would get mad,” I say with a shrug.
“Fine, I’ll drive you home, see you tomorrow? After school?” he asks me, and I nod my head yes, I’d love to see him after school.
“Milo, why did you take me on a date the other day? You didn’t know that I’m your soul yet,” I say wondering out loud.
“I planned on telling you about wolves, I was putting a good word for Theo,” he says and I nod thinking about it as we walk out of the house.
“I don’t have a car today, Do you mind riding on my bike?” he asked me and I shook my head no, I was good with that.
“Hold tight,” Milo says with a smile and then he starts the ride back to my house, I was happy holding on to him, I didn’t want to let him go, I wanted to keep him always.
‘Traitor…’ the word rang in my head, I didn’t know where it came from, but I heard it loud and clear, I ignored it, maybe I’m just imagining stuff.
We made it to my house and Milo gave me one more hug before leaving, I walked inside my house feeling all dizzy from all the hugs I just received, I didn’t want to let him go, I wanted some more hugs and love.
“Hey, welcome back,” Finn says giving me a raised brow look.
“Hey,” I say with a shrug.
“Where have you been?” he asks me still using the same interrogation tone.
“Out with my friend,” I answer him.
“What friend? Cici was here with me,” Finn says and I rolled my eyes at him.
“Little brother, I have other friends too,” I answer him.
“No you don’t,” Finn says in a cold voice.
“Finn, I do,” I say again.
“Really who is it? You were out with Theo?” Finn asks me.
“No, I was out with Milo,” I say, he doesn’t know who Milo is.
“Milo?” Calesti asks she’s there with my brother and her eyes went wild when she heard Milo.
“Yeah, can I talk to you in private?” I ask my friend.
“Hey, you can talk in front of me, no need to hide,” Finn says as I drag Calesti to my room so we can chat in privacy.
“Why were you with Milo?” Calesti asks me.
“Milo is my… no, actually I’m Milo’s soul,” I say trying to get the sentence out correctly.
“But what about Theo?” she asks me confused.
“Milo said it’s possible, and we did the passing border experiment, turns out I hold both of theirs,” I say, trusting Calesti and telling her everything.
“Wow, both Milo and Theo, way to go girl,” Calesti says with a big smile on her face, making me feel a bit relaxed, so it’s not that bad after all, I could breathe again.
The end.
