Tajik was split in half by the Mystic Fireblade, collapsing to the ground in two pieces. The scene was shocking and served as a powerful deterrent to the Werewolves. The death of a Wolf Tribe Duke greatly boosted the morale of the elite disciples, and together they managed to kill two more Werewolf Viscounts.
After slaying Tajik, Violet panted a few times, her face turning pale. Given her current cultivation level, controlling the Mystic Fireblade Formation set up by Leo consumed a tremendous amount of her Spiritual Power. “If only Leo were here, he could easily deal with these detestable Werewolves,” Violet thought to herself.
“Useless!” Augustus, who was battling Donovan, cursed angrily upon seeing Tajik’s death. After forcing Donovan back with a punch, Augustus looked towards Oliver in the distance and shouted, “Oliver, let’s end this quickly. Use the power of the holy artifact!”
“No problem, Augustus. Let’s do it together!” Oliver responded loudly.
Augustus turned his gaze back to Donovan, opening his wolfish mouth to summon the Tess Holy Bow. The bow rapidly enlarged, emitting a terrifyingly powerful destructive force. Holding the Tess Holy Bow, Augustus sneered, “Pathetic Atraria Martial Cultivator, the game is over.”
Seeing the Tess Holy Bow in Augustus’s hands, Donovan’s face tightened. He had deeply felt its terrifying power in the Enchanted Realm. Augustus gripped the bow with one hand and drew the string with the other. The Tess Holy Bow had no arrows; upon drawing, it would automatically condense an arrow from its destructive power. As the bow was fully drawn, a golden arrow appeared.
Augustus aimed the arrow at Donovan and released his right hand. The golden arrow, carrying a dreadful destructive force, tore through the air towards Donovan. If observed closely, one could see that the space seemed to rip where the golden arrow passed, leaving a dark trail on its surface.
“Father!” Violet shouted anxiously.
“Clan Leader!” The members of the Coleman family also turned pale.
Locked onto by the arrow of destruction, Donovan felt there was no way to avoid it; even his own energy was being tightly suppressed. Since he couldn’t dodge, he decided to defend. Donovan unleashed all his Aura, placing the Dragonfire Warblade in front of him. As he wove seals with both hands, the Dragonfire Warblade began to spin, forming a crimson shield before him.
The destructive arrow struck the spinning shield of the Dragonfire Warblade. For a moment, it seemed as if time had completely stopped. In the next second, the arrow pierced through the shield and headed towards Donovan. The faces of the Coleman family members turned to horror, some even forgetting to breathe.
Donovan was also shocked; in this critical moment, he could only release his Aura to form multiple layers of protective shields. The destructive arrow shattered each layer of Aura shield one by one. With each broken shield, the golden arrow dimmed slightly. By the time it broke through the last layer of Aura shield, it had nearly faded into nothingness.
Even so, this near-ethereal arrow struck Donovan’s shoulder. He spat out a mouthful of blood and was sent flying, crashing heavily onto the ground more than ten meters away. The impact created a large crater on the ground, indicating the terrifying force exerted on Donovan.
Lying on the ground, Donovan coughed up more blood and was unable to get up for a moment.
“Father!” Violet’s face turned extremely pale.
“Clan Leader!”
“Mr. Coleman!”
The members of the Coleman family, Iron Sword Sect, Seven Stars Sword Sect, and Flood Dragon Gang all turned pale.
While Donovan was attacked by the Tess Holy Bow’s destructive arrow, Harrison’s situation was equally dire. Oliver’s Reaper’s Scythe emitted a powerful black light with an overwhelming force aimed at Harrison. Harrison tried to dodge but found that the black light from the scythe had an incredibly strong suction force.
Despite his efforts to resist this suction force, Harrison’s defenses were breached by the black scythe, leaving a large bloody gash on his chest. With Oliver’s horizontal sweep of the scythe, Harrison was sent flying and crashed heavily onto the ground, spitting out blood. The blood from his chest wound soaked his clothes.
Harrison’s breath weakened significantly as he fell into a semi-conscious state.
Seeing Oliver defeat Harrison, Augustus laughed triumphantly. “Well done, Oliver!”
Donovan and Harrison’s injuries struck fear into everyone’s hearts because it meant no one could withstand the two Wolf Tribe Princes.
With an evil smile on his face and holding the black Reaper’s Scythe, Oliver walked step by step towards Harrison. When he was three meters away from Harrison, Oliver raised his scythe and slashed down heavily at him. If this strike landed, Harrison’s body would be split in two.
At this critical moment, a figure suddenly flashed over and carried Harrison away from his original position.
Bang!
The enormous black scythe struck where Harrison had been lying, creating a massive crack in the ground.
The one who saved Harrison was none other than Donovan. As the Grand Elder of the Coleman family, Donovan couldn’t stand by and watch him be killed; even if it meant worsening his own injuries, he had to save him.
After moving Harrison out of Oliver’s attack range, Donovan coughed up another mouthful of blood. Ignoring his own injuries, he laid the unconscious Harrison on the ground and took out two small white jade bottles from his person.
He poured pills from one bottle into Harrison’s mouth and sprinkled medicinal powder from the other bottle onto Harrison’s chest wound. The powder worked wonders as Harrison’s wound immediately stopped bleeding.
Oliver looked at Donovan and Harrison with a sinister laugh. “It’s useless; soon both of you will be sent to hell by my Reaper’s Scythe.”
As he spoke, Oliver advanced towards Donovan with his enormous black scythe in hand.
Augustus did not intervene because he knew that killing an injured and an unconscious Martial Cultivator was no different for Oliver than squashing two ants.
