Ashlynn POV.
I’ve been here for a week now, I’ve been trying to get used to things around here, I got a new phone now, Aspen bought me one since my last phone disappeared during my kidnapping, but we’re good now.
“Hey Eli,” I say with a smile, taking a sip of my coffee, it’s been really quiet around here, it’s different than back at home, the only pack I have here is Eli and Aspen, even if he’s not a wolf-like us two, my wolf counts him as my alpha and obey him, he’s also my mate. But the quietness and calm around here kind of get boring.
“Hey sweetie, what are you up to?” he asks me, coming to land a kiss on my lips, I kissed him back, why not? When you have two hot mates, you spend most of your day just kissing them or maybe trying to drive Aspen crazy, which is always fun.
“I’m bored, I woke up and Aspen was gone,” I say with a frown, he left without me, without saying good bye even.
“Yeah, he’s super busy, you know trying to end his job here so we can move away,” he says with a big smile, Eli was really excited about leaving.
“You know, if we do end up joining a pack, you’re gonna have to start concentrating on my lessons,” I warn him, although I’m trying to teach him more about wolves, about how we do things, my mate is more interested in my hair, in kissing me, in playing around. He is a pure brat when it comes to learning new things, but that doesn’t mean I’m giving up on him or on teaching him new things.
“If we do, then you’re gonna have to always be close to me, to make sure I don’t say anything bad and get myself into troubles,” he says making puppy eyes, going in for another kiss making me laugh, and push him away, he can’t kiss his way with me and Aspen the whole time, although cuddles do work with Aspen.
“You’ll have to learn or I’ll tell daddy to spank that bum of yours until you learn,” I warn him, which made him pout.
“You’re becoming evil,” he says with a pout, he was adorable.
“And you are a brat little boy, aren’t you,” I say, he nods proudly.
“And proud! What are you going to do today?” he asks me, I didn’t know what to do, I wasn’t big on going out shopping, or going out on my own, this whole city is new for me, and I have no idea where to go, I don’t know what to do either.
“I don’t know, sit home and be bored?” I ask Eliot, he got work to do, he works with Aspen, but he never leaves the house super early, probably because he hates waking up, but if I try to wake him up, he does wake up right away worried that I’m in my little space and alone, but if I’m big and just waking him up to annoy him, he’ll try to cuddle me back to sleep.
“Be bored? We can’t have our little princess bored the whole day!” he says pulling me in for a hug, our relationship is really physical, we hug, we kiss, and we touch the whole time.
“Then what will we do?” I ask him raising a brow at him, if I’m not going to stay here and be bored, then he got to come with me somewhere.
“We’ll go out of course,” he says,
“Where would we go?” I ask him instead, I don’t know anywhere around here.
“Out and about, we have the whole city to concur,” he says making me giggle.
“Okay, let’s go out and take over the world?” I ask him, ready to take over the world.
“Let’s go!” he says all excited.
“First my coffee,” I say raising a finger at him, the world got to wait until my coffee is over.
“Enjoy it, love, I’m going to call daddy and tell him we’re going out,” he says, I nodded sure, we don’t want him to get worried about the two of us.
I finished my coffee slowly, before going toward our room to get ready for the day, I did get some extra clothes, I don’t understand where these things come from, I didn’t go shopping, and neither did they, but the clothes are now in my room.
I decided on a skirt and a sweater, ready for the day, this place is cold, much colder than the island or back home, I had to put on some tights under my skirt to keep me warm, I brushed my hair and made myself presentable.
“Looking beautiful love, the city is waiting,” Eli says coming in the room, checking me dressed and ready.
“How are we going?” I ask him.
“Well dear Aspen suggested to send Marco our way,” he says with an eye roll, he’s still mad at Marco for not telling him what he is.
“And what did you say?” I ask him, I’m pretty sure he said no to Marco coming over.
“I said no thank you we’ll take the freaking bus,” he spits, mad.
“Okay, the bus it is,” I agree, I don’t mind taking the bus either, I nodded readily to leave.
We held hands and left the house, together, getting in the elevator and then out of the building, he was showing me the city, we did take the bus, after all, I saw new people, most of them humans, the whole bus experience was different than my life back at home. I expected Eliot to take me to the mall maybe, but instead, he got us stopping in the middle of the city, we both got out and started walking on the streets, he’s just showing me what the real city is made from.
“This is where I used to sleep before I found Aspen,” he says with a smile, but what he’s pointing at is an alley, an empty alley.
“Oh baby,” I say my heart breaking a little wanting to hug him.
“Hey, it’s okay, it’s what made me into me,” he says with a smile, I just smiled too.
“My strong baby,” I say with a smile.
“Come on, I’ll show you how I used to have fun around here,” he says pulling me with him into an empty square space, there was pigeons there, he ran with me behind him, scaring them all making them fly away, making both my and his little side laugh out loud.
