Everyone was shocked to find out that Alexa was missing. Laura sat on the ground holding the toy that Alexa was using to play before he disappeared. Her mind was blank and she didn’t know what to do.
Antonia and Christian were also present, both of them just as bothered as Laura was.”Where could he be?”Antonia asked Christian
“Maybe we should check the CCTV footage”Christian brought up and immediately Laura got up from the floor. Why didn’t she think of checking the CCTV footage since?
“Thank God you had it installed,”Antonia said as she rushed into the study with Christian and Laura to check the CCTV footage.
It took a while before the footage played and Laura kept biting her fingers while counting the time, she was so scared but Antonia’s hand kept patting her back as she asked her to calm down.
They finally found the clip and watched it so as not to miss any detail.”Rian?”Laura questioned immediately the camera caught him
“What did Rian come here for?”Antonia asked but Christian asked them to stop talking while he kept watching it. They finally saw Rian carrying Alexa and how his toy fell from his hand in the process.
Laura burst into tears and then tried to match towards the door, “I will fucking kill him”
“You don’t even know where he is Laura, Please calm down. We don’t want to do things we will regret”Antonia said.
“She is right, the cops should be here in five minutes, we will give the clip to them and wait for them to do their jobs”Christian agreed with Antonia.
“I pray Alexa is okay”Laura kept crying but thankfully Antonia was there to console her.
A few minutes later just like Christian had said, the cops arrived quickly and Christian gave them the footage of the house where Rian was seen pulling Alexa. They finally found out that he didn’t just get lost but was kidnapped.
The cops assured them that they would find Alexa soon and just as Christian was seeing them off, he remembered that Alexa said he loved his Rolex wristwatch so he pulled it off days ago and put it on Alexa’s hand.
The wristwatch was special because it had a tracker so he quickly notified the police of this news. Again it was another lead and so they immediately started the investigation.

“Get out of my car right now, don’t be such a child”Rian yelled at Alexa while trying to pull him out. Alexa was telling and throwing a tantrum saying he wanted his daddy, his mummy, and his brother.
He was also saying it was past his lunch time so Rian decided to stop at a nearby restaurant so they could get lunch but suddenly the boy wouldn’t get out of the car no matter how hard he tried.
“Leave me alone”Alexa yelled
Rian kept on pulling his hands while Alexa struggled with him. In the end, Rian was stronger so he was finally able to pull Alexa out of the car.
“I am trying to get you lunch, quit being a whiner and come inside while I am being nice,”Rian told him
“No!”
“I am your father, you just listen to me”Rian was getting frustrated at this point, who knew that a child could cause so much havoc?
“You are not my daddy, my daddy is at home”Alexa yelled and that got Rian a few stares from the passersby.
Rian bent closer to Alexa and whispered in his ear, “If you don’t listen to me and behave yourself, you will never see your mommy again”
The little boy stood still immediately and then followed Rian into the restaurant without any more issues.

The cops finally arrived at the location where the Rolex wristwatch was, it was close to a train station, and right beside it was a restaurant.”If my son is in there, why aren’t we going in to save him?”Christian asked
“We don’t know the situation sir so we can’t just act. We need to make sure that the kidnapper isn’t harmed to ensure the safety of the hostage”The police officer said
“But each minute my son is with that man is more dangerous”Christian yelled at him
“I know how you feel but I am sorry sir, we have to wait”The police officer kept his stand. A sigh escaped Christian’s lips seeing as he had lost and didn’t have a choice but to listen. If anything happened to Alexa, Laura would never forgive him.
“Do you see that lieutenant?”An officer pointed at the little boy running out of the restaurant with an older man chasing after him.
“Prepare to go after them”The police officer ordered
Christian couldn’t believe his ears, “Prepare to go after them? Oh, fuck this!”He yelled and then got out of the car before they could stop him.
He immediately chased after Rian and Alexa.”Let my son go you mother fucker!”Christian yelled and Rian immediately stopped in his tracks.
“Daddy”Alexa yelled
“I will kill you!”Rian reached for his gun to point it at Christian but Alexa was quick enough to knock it out of his hand. The little boy began to laugh seeing as Rian was pissed, he didn’t know how dangerous it was.
Seeing that the coast was clear, Christian launched at Rian and the two of them began to throw one punch after the other.
“How dare you take my child”Christian punched Rian each time he spoke, unknown to him, Rian also had a pocket knife in his pocket which he carefully brought out.
“Hands up everyone!”A whistle sounded and the police officer yelled. Christian was pissed that they just got here since they planned to attack.
“Put down the weapons and step away from each other”The officer yelled Christian got up from Rian and was about to move away when Rian proceeded with his attack.
He was inches away from stabbing Christian when they heard the sound of the trigger, all of them froze immediately as they looked in the direction of the sound to see Alexa, holding Rian’s gun.
He had shot it in the air and was now pointing it at Rian while sobbing.”Drop the gun kid”the police officer yelled
“Alexa, I am okay so please drop the gun”Christian whispered.
Rian stood still because he was scared that he would get shot by Alexa. With Christian talking to his son, trying to calm him down, a cop was able to cuff Rian while the other one took the gun from Alexa.
As Rian was arrested and taken away to the police van, Alexa rushed into his daddy’s arms and the two of burst into tears.
Was this their happily ever after.
