CHAPTER 113

Book:I Have Your Sons, Mr. CEO Published:2024-9-2

She walked out under the heavy downpour, she was confused as she was drenched by the rain, her heart beating faster each time still trying to figure out what was happening at the moment.
She didn’t know what to do at that moment, if she should just go back home and just forget that’ he had fucking lied.
Again, all that was playing through her mind was what she had said.
Without the fact that her heart was thudding heavily, all wouldn’t have been quiet-
As she continues walking, the entire situation sends a thrill throughout her body as she was unaware of the swerving effect that filled the room, causing goosebumps to pebble on her pale flesh.
“Get it together,”she tells herself.
By now she was at the apartment, she is unsettled at the moment as she takes in the interior of the building, to her it wasn’t the way it should be, it appeared to be much more less sophisticated than she had always seen it.
As a matter of fact it appears in a way that seems blurred.
She was about walking away when she bumped into the hard frame of his body that left a stinging feeling at right at the points of contact, she looked up to see who it was it caused her to spin around, narrow my eyes,
and rub the sore spot
“Ouch.”
He was about apologizing but one look at her and he changed his mind, she looked miserable.
Fleeing his mind was the fact that she had insulted him just earlier, all that he felt for her for this feeling of sympathy… deep as he stared straight at her .
She glared at me while he held a puzzle in his hand, Alexa and Alexis – The twins both ran out and hugged her.
She stiffened but smiled at them.
“Go start up guys I would join you.”
He hands the puzzle to them and watch them leave, as it was she was wearing a black shirt.
He still carried that hint that he was sweating probably from his sweat as his hair was still wet from our shower.
They could hear the boys play and it gave them time to speak, both wanted to speak – at least one eager to listen and the other trying to shy away from the entire situation.
“Drinks?”He asked.
She wasn’t going to most definitely be aware of what he was trying to do, thinking about it, it had been the second time they had sex and in the two occasions he had made her drunk.
She turned down his offer and was about to step away, she wasn’t going to let him just as he turned to leave she stood right there preventing her from getting away –
“Why are you doing this, you know fully well that all of this is being hard on me, I just want to get myself settled… and I don’t want to talk to anyone.”
He still wouldn’t leave, he stood there as though ready to make her more annoyed about the entire situation or perhaps he just thought that letting her go meant he wouldn’t get to listen to what she had to say.
“Explain what’s happening tonight again,”he asked.
That comment got her a bit pissed, she had been adamant about wanting to have her time alone but thinking about it again made her more or less disorganized.
She sat with a thud on the chair, her hair was rough and ruffled as she tossed them over her shoulder.
He attempted to touch her but she flinched.
“Who the hell told you it was okay for you to touch me .”she said, exasperated.
“God, you’re so full of yourself.”
“I was just trying to help.”he sighed, leaning back.
“Don’t why can’t you just let me be, you all are the same so stop acting this way.”
“The same.”He was a bit surprised about what she was saying.
He hadn’t expected that she’d speak in this manner, it felt like she was mad at another thing.
But what could it be?
She rolled her eyes like she was put out, but in reality, his mind was drifting slowly within him as a thought hit him…As it did, he struggled to hold in a smile as he turned to walk into the kitchen.
“You found out yourself right.”He spiked calmly .
“You know, it would have been much better if you had believed me.”
She wished that she had spent another night at the penthouse, all alone to herself or that she had done something different, not what she was doing at the moment.
She wished that she had stayed out instead of coming home , rather she had chosen to stay entertained by smothering herself.
Her guess at first was that it didn’t matter, she had gotten a call from Rain immediately, which she ignored.
Just when she looked like she might pick, he was quick to get it from her hands.
“What are you doing, make this man suffer for what he did.”
“But it is none of your business.”She muttered.
He had handed her back and the phone and fell back so he could look at her face.”Well suit yourself.”Was all he said.
She was going to do that, she’d do this however as she likes and it was no one fucking business.
She headed with her bag to the room, there she dropped it on the dresser and dug through it for a cigarette.
She rarely smokes but she felt like- she did find herself walking away, she was pissed with what it was, in as much that she walked past him to stop at the lobby. It didn’t matter.
She thought about it for a while and stalled at the door then turned, her lips pulling into a frown.”Do you mind sharing a smoke?”
“Yeah “he said nonchalantly as she turned back around.
“Good to know…join me outside.”
