It was a strangely different world and at first she couldn’t understand it, still it seemed to blink in her mind as she was slowly succumbing to the fact that all these strange things happening meant that there was a lot she had to go if she was bent on keeping her man.
Much as all this happening lacked common understanding, it held in her mind possibilities-
Antonia at that moment felt all of this, her mind was near Insanity and her heart she could hear echoing wildly that moment.
He had called her repeatedly but she hadn’t brought herself deep to answer whatever this was about, the more she thought about it the more she found herself slipping slowly away from the truth.
Still she couldn’t get him off her mind.
The bustle of the city filled the air with a stench she couldn’t get away from her mind, as she walked into the suite she looked around it shutting her eyes and taking in the entire vicinity in one glance.
The place is nothing like her apartment for so many reasons, for so many reasons it was so different that she wouldn’t mind staying with her for as long as she could to her. It didn’t matter how long it was going to take, she had it all planned out in her head.
Again she ran her mind through what she thought was a perfect plan.
She’d ignore for a while and then just when he comes looking for her – she knows he will, she’d strike!
Her plans stood clear, she was going to get him to send Laura away, she couldn’t stand any other day with a woman whom she thought was sleeping with her husband.
There was just one way she saw her and that was a fucking hypocrite.
As she sat still there still thinking about how to process everything that was happening her phone again rings –
She was tempted to pick this time, the need to burn in her Soul as she missed him, the phone stops after a while and she sighs.
She picked her phone and typed the first few words.
Antonia: Hey…
The words stalled at the back of her mind, her fingers trembled as she could feel a searing heat travel through her, almost immediately she deleted the message.
Her heart was elated, she sat back and thought it through again. At least she was completely alone, with time to ruminate on her past.
A deep sigh escaped her lips, this time there is time to relive the memories of everything that had happened, she thought it was best she did that than drown in a sea of sorrow.
She picks up a memo that contained the list of events for her entire stay at that trip.
“Maybe I needed to do this all along.”she muttered to herself.
She shuts down the dark thoughts and unpacks instead, it was more distracting enough that she could immediately see her heart was a bit calmer.
Sitting there in the living space that was furnished to a suitable taste, she let her mind wander again with the wind.
This was going to be perfect.
*****
Her perfection had nothing to do with this, he thought as he had bust through the door at first,
He wasn’t flawless, so he wouldn’t blame her for all of this, he had himself to blame as well.
Without her the room stood there void of her presence, quiet yes … Yet he had that inability to get rid of the madness it left behind in his soul.
He could feel the tingling effect of the air-conditioning and hear the reverberation of his boots against the hardwood as he strode down to the garden at first.
It was he favorite place and it was definitely the first place he had thought about, next was the other room that had the best best view of the vicinity-
Earlier he had seen a note confirming that she was really gone, he had grabbed it as he walked past.
Would be back, when all of this Madness is settled.
– Antonia.
He went through it again and again wondering what It was all about.
As he made his way up the stairs, he listened as his heart made every thudding squeak that escaped through its crevices to the air leaving the hint of a dreadful feeling that somehow settled under his skin with a grating texture.
He stood in the middle of the room and rolled his shoulders to push the odd sensation away, lacking the subtleness of a sea after a torrent his heart was troubled.
He searched every room. Mine-Lauras. The
spare rooms. The fucking secret room, all empty.
He was literally panting after it was all done, this was no game.
Something tightened in his throat as he swallowed, he could feel a strange fear that pierced him deep in the fucking chest.
She ran. She fucking made a pussy out of herself and ran!
Some of her clothes were there as well as her bag, and other stuff. Looking at the letter again he thought she would probably get tired if she played sick and returned but what if she doesn’t.
Maybe they would’ve slowed her down and she had decided not to go with them-
He inhaled deeply and made my way down the steps while making a call, the thought of doing something filled his soul.
The ringing sounded faraway-.
“Damien “Christian’s cold tone crept through the line.
“I need you to find Tonia,”he rasped.
Damien seemed surprised at first.”What is the problem?”
“She left a fucking letter and is no where to be found, search every where … The train station, the Ports everywhere.”
Two quiet moments passed-
“And you didn’t get into a fight?”
He held the cufflink that most definitely had been left to pass a message, he found it right on the letter.
“No messages.”He lied.
“Very well then I’d get to that.”
He hung up, and he slipped his phone into his pocket.
He was going to go after her game or not he will , he reassured himself
