Keira POV.
I was in the training, school or not I still have to take care of my pack, usually, I’d skip classes, I still need to have an education. I’m only going daily now to be there with my baby, I’m not leaving him without protection. I asked if he wants to come and spend time with me, he won’t be doing any of the training but he can watch and help me along.
He said no, I didn’t mind leaving him at home, it’s safe to stay at the packhouse, he’s protected by many of the pack members, they all know to keep the Luna safe. If he gets hurt, god help them all, I won’t take that nicely, everyone knows that. Kill an Alpha Luna, and the alpha would go feral, I know the rumours about people worried I’d go feral, that I’m too much cold-hearted to live without a mate for too long.
I had both hands, well paws and teeth busy with training, it’s one on one combat, my favorite kind of combat, well they could try and all jump on me, I always won. I was about to win, as usual when I heard my baby voice, I jumped up, and looked around looking for him but found no one. He just used our bond! It took me a second to understand so, I got back on my feet and went to search for him, if even a hair on his hair is hurt, I’m killing whoever touched him.
Sammy wasn’t very far away, he’s close to me, very close to me, what is he doing here? My baby was being pinned under one of my enforcers, I pushed the idiot off and went to check on Sammy. He was quick to whine and cry into my neck wanting all the attention I’ll give him, he got what he wanted easily, I was worried about him, my baby crying into my neck was the only reason I haven’t kicked the enforcer ass yet.
“Sammy what happened” I ask him.
“He tackled me down” Sammy says still whining, I turn to the enforcer ready to kick his ass but he’s quick to shift back, hands up showing surrender, before trying to explain what happened.
“Alpha! I didn’t know it’s the Luna, they were messing with the rogues, I was just chasing them off” the enforcer says quickly, I turn to my baby he’s still whining, but he wouldn’t meet my eye.
“Sammy” I say through the bond, he kept whining but didn’t say anything else.
I change back to my human form, I look at the enforcer, he didn’t know he’s my mate or that he’s the luna, I had to pull myself back not to go and kick his ass.
“Who are they?” I ask while Sammy was now hiding behind my leg.
“The Luna, and some others of the pack younger kids” the enforcer says.
“Whom?” I ask again wanting to know who my baby friends are.
“Owen, Mateo, and Theo. The trio trouble makers Alpha” he says and I nod, he’s correct they are the trio trouble makers, they’ve been asking for permission to start training with me, but I don’t take anyone under eighteen. I was forced to start my training on a young age, but I want my pack to be adult before I put them through hell in training.
“Tell the trio to meet be at my office before dinner” I tell the poor enforcer who was happy to run away from me, he’s not off the hook, next time he’s on training with me, he’s getting hell for pinning my baby down.
“Now to you Sammy” I say in a firm voice, he didn’t tell me he’s going to be with those trios today, I don’t mind him having friends his own age but hiding things from me is what’s getting him into troubles with me. He tries whining and hiding away but I had a firm hold on his neck keeping him in place.
“Sammy you don’t hide things from me, you don’t leave the house without telling me. And you don’t get near the rogues again got it?” I say in a very firm voice. He whimpers some more but nods his head yes, I could feel that he’s sorry for what he did, but his punishment isn’t over.
“Don’t you dare leave my sight” I order him again before walking back toward the training area, he’s staying where I can keep an eye on him, like it or not.
After the training, I plan on having a word with his trios friends, if they want to still befriend with my baby, they’ll need to learn not to put him in any kind of danger. Sammy isn’t getting out of my eyesight for now.
