Keira POV.
I got called out from class, it was the last one of the day, I had such a great day with my baby yesterday, he and his wolf finally calmed down by the end of the night. But still, an alpha job never ends, I did leave Faith in charge and did some work over my phone.
For now, I was called down because of an accident, they didn’t call my beta, they called me right away meaning it’s something big, I left Faith to take care of Sammy before going over to where I’m needed.
I got there and saw some of my enforcers looking guilty, they don’t look guilty unless they really messed up, I knew this was something big, I got in and took a walk around, I could smell blood, this wasn’t good, I’m used to smelling blood, my enemies blood, I turned to them wanting answers.
“We lost a girl…” one says and I froze, what girl? One of mines of theirs.
“Whom?” I ask when they don’t answer right away.
“One of ours,” they say, they don’t need to tell me any details, I don’t need to know whom before I got angry, so angry I was ready to snap their heads off. I was about to eat their hearts out, but first I need more details on how did the rogues got in, we have patrol all the time.
“We….” One of them says.
“Alpha…” the other add.
“They took us by surprise,” the last one says and I lost it, I was ready to kill all of them, they were smart enough to run away from me, I was pissed off now.
I couldn’t help how angry I was, I wanted to kill someone, to kill something, to take my anger out somewhere but I couldn’t find anything. I took off after my running idiot patrol enforcers, after teaching their sorry asses a lesson, I was still pissed.
It wasn’t until I heard Faith’s voice that I turned to her, she had Sammy there with her which made me even angrier! Why did she bring my baby, I told her to keep an eye on him not bring him over here!
I was extremely pissed now, my baby took a step toward me, I growled wanting him to go back, but he still ignored my growls and got closer to me. He went down on his knee as Faith did, I didn’t want my baby to submit like that for me, I stopped growling and got closer to him licking his face.
Sammy smiled at me and pulled up, and went straight for a hug, his scent was enough to calm me, I licked his face and neck marking him as mine, now I was calm enough and wasn’t letting him go.
“Mama stop” he giggles trying to push me. I didn’t let him go, I just helped him to his feet so he can stand up.
I pushed him toward the wood with me, inviting him on a run, he smiled and nodded before shifting to his wolf form.
Once he was in his wolf form, I jumped on top of him, licking his face and neck, grooming my little baby, he whined and tried to push me away but to no use, he’s mine now.
After some more whining, few licks back, I allowed him to get up, he needed help to get up but this time I didn’t allow him to run ahead, I made him run next to me the whole time. Every time he tried to pull away I felt my anger rise until he came back and kept the beast at bay, I have to check on patrol and get the dead girl’s funeral ready.
But for now, I’m enjoying my baby company, he’s a naughty little thing, jumping up and down all around the place. I had to growl and pin him down few times until he got the memo of not getting away from me. Now he’ll stay where I can see him, skip a few steps ahead but then stop and look back making sure I’m still close.
His newest game was to jump on top of me and try to bite down my neck, it was a cute game, thinking he can get me to submit to him, I did allow him to get close to my neck a few times. But I jumped back at him pinning him down, he pretends to whine every time he got pinned down until I let him go.
Our game helped me calm down, Sammy was getting exhausted now, it’s time to head home, I pushed him back toward the house, he was falling asleep on his feet, yawning sleepily. Finally, we made it home, I shifted back and carried Sammy upstairs to bed, he can nap while I organize a funeral and a new patrol shift.
