Sammy POV.
We took our bags, I had a blue one, while hers was black. It must be filled with school supplies, we got into her car, the same one we came in that day. She drove us toward my new school, I didn’t really like the idea of going into a new school.
Once we got there she came toward my side, opened the door for me, and held my hand while we walked in. I and my wolf were grateful for the support but everyone was now looking at us, I just looked away and walked with her.
She took us toward the office, I didn’t have a chance to talk before the woman there bowed her head for Keira.
“I want Samuel West’s schedule,” she says, I look at her with a glare, I knew I had to take her last name as Luna, but she could’ve waited until I accept her as mine.
She didn’t hand me back my schedule, she read it first seemed to be memorizing it before she walked me toward my first class, she hugged me by force one last time before I walked in the class. Everyone’s eyes were on me, no one seemed to like the new student, me, I wanted the floor to open and swallow me but the teacher decided to torture me.
“Please introduce yourself for the class,” the teacher says
I gulped before giving a short and brief introduction about me, just saying my name, my age, and where I came from. I don’t think they expected me to say who my mate is, with a blush I went and sat down feeling ready for the day to be over. I hate introducing myself in front of people, especially when being the new kid, I sat in one of the seats in the middle, it was the only one available.
One guy, in particular, didn’t seem to be enjoying my presence, he kept sniffing me and growling. This class took forever but finally, it was over, I ran out of the class only to be caught by Faith, my mate Beta.
Faith… please let me go. I’m okay really.” I said hoping she will cooperate and won’t say anything
“No can do little one, alpha’s order to walk you straight to her,” she says dragging me along with her, I sigh and walk with her, wondering why she was calling me little one, I wonder what my mate wants to see me for.
“Hey baby how’s your day so far?” she asks once she saw me coming, she went for a hug but I tried to move away from her. It didn’t work she still forced a hug on me, he face went straight toward my neck marking me again, I whined and pouted not wanted to be hugged and marked.
“Don’t pout, mama only do this for your own good” she whisperers in my ear, I still whined, it’s not doing me any good to be marked.
She walked me to my next class, I was met with the same treatment, introduce yourself, sniffs from here and there. When lunch time came, she picked me from class, holding my hand whether I wanted her to or not, we were still met with stares but one glare from her made everyone change their mind and turn the other way.
“Sit, I’ll be right back” Keira sat me at a table with some other guys, they were all wolves, I could tell right away, all alphas and all sneering at me, great.
The awkward silence and stares didn’t end until she came back with two lunch treys, setting one in front of me and the others for her. My trey had mac and cheese, an apple and a juice box, hers had the same things but water instead of the juice.
The lunch was mostly silent no one dared to look at me not with her sitting this close, the rest of the day passed the same way, walked to and from class, glares and sniffs, until it was time to leave and I couldn’t be anymore greatful.
Not feeling like dealing with anyone else, she lives in a pack house, everyone’s welcome here and some even live with her. I used to live in a private house with my family, it’s up to the alpha to chose where he and his family lives, my father preferred the privacy. I ran toward her room, the only one I can stay alone in, I dialed Alvin’s number right away.
He’s the best older brother anyone can asks for, Beta or not he’s the one I run to when I need anything, he picked up right away.
“Hey little brother how’s it going?” He asks sounding hurt, I know they didn’t want to lose me as their baby brother but I couldn’t let a war start.
“I’m good, it’s all good. We started school today” I tell him, well it’s the truth.
“That’s good Sammy how’s school?” He asks.
“Good” I say not really finding much words to say.
“How’s your mate? Is she treating you well?” He asks
“Yeah, she’s great” I say withfake enthusiasm, Keira walks in the room while I’m on the pbone, she looks at me with a raised brow.
“Gotta go, Love you Alvy” I say ending tbe call before he could say anything else.
