Sophia POV.
“Oh My God!” was Niti’s first comment when she saw me, did she knew? How did she know what happened, maybe she’s just saying so because she saw me get off Vic’s bike.
She just nodded toward Vic before dragging me with her in the school away from my stepbrothers and into a more isolated place. I could hear daddy’s chuckle in my head, this whole telepathy is still weird for me.
“You and Victor? Finally?” she asks.
“How did you know?” I ask the obvious question.
“You smell like him” she replies like it’s nothing and I look at her with confusion, wait how could she smell Vic on me?
“He didn’t tell you? Really?” she asks offended. I look at her but still don’t get it, so I decided to ask daddy about it. I try my best to think about him and send him a message,
“Is Niti?” was all I had to say before he replies. “Yes she’s a wolf baby girl” was his reply, now my mouth does fell open with shock, and she didn’t tell me! And he didn’t tell me! Those two traitors!
“Tell me all about it1 Did you do the?” she ask with a wink.
“Niti!!” I say in a squeaky voice, she just says what and laughs.
“How did you know?” I ask her again.
“You smell like the alpha, well you smell of alpha and just a little bit of you,” she says.
“What alpha?” I ask again.
“The alpha, Victor, your mate” she explains.
“Daddy,” I ask through our bond. “Yes, baby girl?” he replies. “Are you the alpha?” I ask not really believing. “Yes I am” he replies like it’s nothing.
“Did you ask him?” she says with a smirk. How does she know so much!
“No fair Niti! How do you know so much?” I say in a pouty voice.
“You’re just adorable, I bet you’re a little too and hiding it from me,” she says in accusation.
“NITI! How!” I yell, okay she won, how does she know this much about me!
“Alpha Vic is a daddy, you showed some little behaviors, I’m not stupid you know” she says and I nod she’s not stupid at all.
“Come on you can tell me all about it after school,” she says and I nod yes, we need to sit down and talk for sure.
All during class and school hours every time I passed by people’s heads would turn toward me, some would look at me with big wide eyes, others would just nod for me while I passed. Kyle and Niti were having too much fun over my back when they asked to be forgiven over the missed homework, saying they were busy with me. Then at PE Niti said we can’t play, the teacher took one look at me and nodded his head yes letting us sit on the bench while the others had to run laps.
When lunchtime came, I ran toward Vic, all this extreme attention was getting the best of me, I couldn’t take anymore from this. He pulled me into his hands and just growled, it was a low voice but I could hear it, feel his chest rumbling, everyone looked the other way now, no one was sparing us a look finally I could breathe.
“You okay baby?” daddy asks and I just nod my head, I was feeling too overwhelmed right now but trying my best not to slip to my little self.
The rest of the day passed a bit better now, no one was looking at me the same way and Vic told Kyle off about using me to get out of his school work. When the day finally passed I was exhausted I wanted to leave but also wanted some answer from Niti, she’s not one to hide things from me.
“I’m going over to Niti’s,” I tell daddy once the school was over, he looks at me and then at Niti before replying.
“Sure, just stay out of the wood,” he says.
We get into her car and take off toward her place, we did pass to the grocery store and got tons of snacks and ice cream before making it to her house. It was the first time I went to her place, her mother was home, her head did snap up when she saw me walking in, she bowed her for me and called me “Luna”.
I blushed and mumbled a hello before Niti dragged me to her room, we sat on the floor with all our snacks and she began her explanation.
“What does Luna mean?” was my first question.
“Luna is you, the mate of the alpha” she explains.
“How do I smell?” I ask her.
“Like your mate, you always smell like the more dominant one. Vic has been marking you since day one but now you smell totally like him”
“Mark me?” I ask.
“Yes leave his scent on you so other wolves wouldn’t get close to you” she explains, possessive much.
“Also I should warn you, all wolves are extremely possessive that includes our alpha Luna,” she says the last word with a bow.
“Why did you bow?” I say worried.
“Respect girl. You deserve respect” she adds with a wink, I don’t think that’s very respectful.
