Victor POV.
My wolf was finally at peace, he took our mate on a date and even asked her to be her daddy, she didn’t agree nor disagreed yet but that’s a start, all he has to do is wait for her reply. She says yes in the end, even if she’s just a quarter breed the wolf blood in her would make her feel a pull toward me too.
I went to sleep with a happy smile on my face, all I needed right now was Sophia to be in my arms and I’ll die a happy man, my wolf agrees, he wants our mate too. Her smell was still stuck on me which helped my possessive beast until she could decides if she wants to be mine or if she wants to be mine.
There’s no other options, not for me at least, she’s my everything. This night felt extremely long, the morning just refused to come out for me to find out her answer. I thought about going for a run but what if she needed me during the night. Plus I need to be here first thing in the morning when she wakes up to tell me she agrees, she gotta agree, we’re mate for heavens sake, I was made for her.
After turning for the millionth time in bed, the day light was finally starting to show, I looked at my clock to see it’s five thirty am, almost time for the princess to wake up.
I’m just praying that she won’t sleep in tonight when I heard the tiniest knock on my door, followed by my door being open slighty. And in came my princess in all her glory, she had her teddy in her hand, dressed in baby blue pyjamas, her hair was wild but she looked beautiful.
“Everything okay princess?” I ask her worried.
“I couldn’t sleep” she begins and I sit stright in my bed patting a spot next to me.
She ran toward me and took a seat next to me, her head went over my shoulder.
“Something in me kept nagging at me to come here. Now that I’m here, it’s weird Vic, it’s like something insides me just want to stay close” she says her eyes close and her nose getting closer to my neck, she doesn’t understand what’s happening but a part of her, a certain wolf part of her is marking their territory over me.
I let her nuzzle into my neck until she’s satisfied, her eyes flew open and she blush, what just happened wasn’t really a conscious move. I just smile showing her It’s okay, that she can show me all parts of her and I’ll still take her anytime.
“I couldn’t sleep either just thinking if you’ll be mine or if you’ll be mine” I tell her and she chuckles.
“Isn’t supposed a no or yes answer?” she says in a sassy voice.
“I’m hoping for the latter” I say nuzzling her neck now, it was my turn to mark her.
I’ll explain everything about being mates later, I just don’t want to overwhelm her right away. Everything will make sense once she knows what we are for each other.
“I want to be yours” she whisper.
“I was hoping you’d say so” I say unable to hold my self or my happiness I trap her on my bed between my arms and openly nuzzle her neck making her giggle.
“Sophia Marie Nightshade would you do me the honour and be my little girl?” I ask her officially again.
“Yes Victor I would” she replies with red cheeks.
“Ohh no that’s daddy for you little misses” I say fake biting her neck making her giggle even louder.
I was now the happiest werewolf to ever exist, the sound of my mate laugh was priceless to me, it made me smile involuntary. After her last giggling fit Sophia let out a loud yawn, I guess we should catch some Zzz.
“Come on little one let’s sleep a little” I say sliding her and me under the covers, I save her teddy from the floor and hand it over to her. We both fall asleep hugging each others like we’re supposed to.
I woke up to some giggling sound between my arms, I know those giggles, I hug her tighter.
“I think she can’t breath” I hear my youngest brother voice now.
“Maybe we should save her from the beast. Blink twice if you need help” that of course was Kyle voice.
What are they doing in my room, I groan but keep my eyes closed hoping they’ll go away.
“Ohh look how adorbale they look but do you think she can breath” my twin voice join them, is there a meeting in my room that I didn’t know about.
Another giggle from the little one in my arms before she tries to get up, I try to pull her back down.
“Ignore them and they’ll leave” I say to her.
“Really man? We’re here to say congratulations” Alvin our oldest was here too!
This time I do open ny eyes and sit up, all of my siblings were in my room watching me and the little sleeping, we are a close family but this is too much.
“Creepy much guys?” I ask them.
“Anna told us the good news” Kyle says and I look at him with confused look how did she know. I turn back to my littl who was now blushing.
“I needed her opinion” she says casually.
“Yup at 2 o’clock in the morning” Adam adds with a laugh making the little one blush even more.
I guess our sleeping time is over, I have to hear this story.
