The terrifying cold wave that erupted in the Enchanted Realm was something Yota Koken had experienced firsthand. Even with his Heaven Ninja strength, he couldn’t stay for long.
Thinking about this, Yota Koken sighed, “What a pity. If I could have captured that boy and learned the secrets of Yin-Yang Arts from him, this trip to the Enchanted Realm would have been perfect.”
Yota Koken stood up and looked at the six Earth Ninjas, saying in a deep voice, “You six, join me in seclusion and consume the Everlife Fruit!”
“Yes!” The six Earth Ninjas stood up and bowed to Yota Koken in unison.
The six Earth Ninjas were extremely excited and thrilled because consuming the Everlife Fruit could potentially allow them to break through to the coveted Heaven Ninja realm.
“When I consume the Everlife Fruit and break through to the Divine Ninja realm, I will go to Atraria, destroy the Seven Stars Sword Sect, and capture all the Yin-Yang Masters there!” Yota Koken’s eyes were filled with fervor.
The seasoned Kuki Koken smiled, as if he could already see the Koken family becoming the most powerful family in Orientia, no, in the entire world.
At the True Martial Sect’s location, many people were gathered in the True Martial Hall.
Among them were Amari, the current leader of the True Martial Sect; Elder Dylan; Gage; Walter Rossetti of the Rossetti family; and Elder Redmond, who had lost an arm.
“Gage, that boy named Leo still hasn’t come out of the Enchanted Realm?” Dylan asked Gage with a surprised look.
Gage replied solemnly, “Yes, Master. That boy hasn’t come out of the Enchanted Realm and hasn’t returned to the Seven Stars Sword Sect either.”
Gage’s words made Amari ponder for a moment before he said, “It seems that boy is most likely dead in the Enchanted Realm.”
“The cold wave in the Enchanted Realm is extremely terrifying. If he hasn’t come out by now, he probably never will,” Dylan added.
Their conversation made Walter and Elder Redmond tremble.
Among everyone present, Walter and Elder Redmond harbored the most hatred for Leo.
Elder Redmond had followed the True Martial Sect into the Enchanted Realm just to witness Leo being killed by them. Unfortunately, he hadn’t seen Leo even once before escaping from the Enchanted Realm.
Now, Gage’s news that Leo hadn’t come out of the Enchanted Realm meant he was likely frozen to death there, which shocked Walter and Elder Redmond.
“Elder Dylan, is the Enchanted Realm really that terrifying? If someone hasn’t come out by now, does it mean certain death?” Walter found it hard to believe and thought Leo dying in the Enchanted Realm was too easy for him.
Elder Dylan nodded affirmatively, “The sudden cold wave in the Enchanted Realm is extremely terrifying. No one can stay there for long.”
“When I escaped from the Enchanted Realm, I saw low-level Martial Cultivators getting frozen. If that boy hasn’t come out by now, there’s no chance he’s still alive.”
Elder Dylan’s words made Walter sigh inwardly, regretting not seeing Leo’s miserable death with his own eyes.
Elder Redmond voiced his thoughts, “Not being able to personally cut off that brat’s hands and feet is a lifelong regret.”
Elder Dylan said coldly, “Even though that boy is dead, this matter isn’t over. He killed our True Martial Sect disciples, and this grudge must be avenged by our sect!”
“Elder Dylan, what do you mean?” Walter caught onto Dylan’s implication, his old eyes lighting up.
Elder Dylan sneered, “Walter, don’t forget that boy was an honorary leader of the Seven Stars Sword Sect.”
“According to reliable information we’ve received, the Seven Stars Sword Sect is rich in spiritual energy and has various Spirit Medicines planted there. It’s an excellent place for cultivation.”
“Since that boy is dead, let’s destroy the Seven Stars Sword Sect and use its location as a branch of our True Martial Sect.”
“Sect Leader, what do you think?”
Dylan looked at Amari after speaking.
Amari stroked his beard and nodded, “The Grand Elder is right. Once we’ve consumed the Everlife Fruit, we can prepare to act against the Seven Stars Sword Sect.”
Walter and Elder Redmond’s target was Leo; they didn’t care much about the Seven Stars Sword Sect.
Walter understood that while avenging their disciples was one reason for the True Martial Sect wanting to kill Leo, a more important reason was likely the cultivation benefits of the Seven Stars Sword Sect.
After exchanging glances with Elder Redmond, Walter looked at Amari and Dylan and said, “Sect Leader, Grand Elder, now that Leo is dead, my poor grandson’s spirit can rest in peace. We’ve disturbed you at the True Martial Sect for many days; it’s time for us to take our leave.”
Being a man of the secular world, Walter indeed couldn’t stay long at the True Martial Sect. Amari only made a polite attempt to keep them before arranging for disciples to escort Walter and Elder Redmond away.
Back in the Enchanted Realm.
The light blue blood sphere floating above the center of the ice lake had become very faint.
Inside the blood sphere, Leo’s muscles and meridians had been reshaped. The powerful Spiritual Power flowed through his meridians like rivers.
His dantian was like a vast lake capable of containing all his Spiritual Power.
As Leo opened his eyes again, the light blue blood sphere completely dissipated.
Nine different colored lights burst from Leo’s body.
The lights intertwined around Leo, creating a magical sight.
Leo had been cultivating the Nine Heavens Star Chart, which had nine levels. Now, after absorbing energy from the Giant Turtle’s blood essence, he had reached the fourth level.
Leo stood up from his cross-legged floating position as the colorful lights around him retracted into his body.
A colorful light flashed in Leo’s deep eyes as he released his divine sense.
The range of his divine sense had expanded to nearly ten kilometers.
“Spirit King! I’ve broken through to Spirit King! Hahaha…” Leo couldn’t help but laugh excitedly.
Breaking through directly from Spirit Sect to lower-tier Spirit King was such a significant improvement that Leo couldn’t contain his excitement.
This trip to the Enchanted Realm had brought him his greatest opportunity and reward.
Leo floated above the ice lake, exuding an aura dozens of times stronger than before.
His body had undergone a complete transformation and was now immune to the cold emanating from the ice lake.
Just as Leo was about to head towards the end of the ice lake, his mind suddenly shook violently as a vast amount of information exploded in his brain.
Leo’s floating body wavered as he almost fell from mid-air.
He quickly closed his eyes, mobilized his divine sense, emptied his mind, and began to accept and analyze the incoming information.
Two hours later, Leo slowly opened his eyes and exhaled deeply.
The information in his mind was three high-level techniques gifted by the Giant Turtle’s soul before it disappeared.
