Lu couldn’t get to understand what Jordan had said. He moved away from his seat and walked to the fridge in his office. His almost bright face faded into an angry one as he noticed only bottled water in the fridge.
Still yet, he decided to ignore. First thing first, he went back to his chair and took his seat again.
“Why would Davidson cover up for me?” Lu asked confused.
The look on Jordan’s face seems like he wants to smack his boss’s head. He just asked a question he doesn’t understand and the man is asking him the same thing back!
“I just asked the same question,” he said in a low whisper.
He swallowed as Lu glares at him, he placed his shaky hands in his pant pocket and walked left and right to the office. He has begun to feel more comfortable in the place as his shoe made a pop sound as he walked about.
“Remove your shoes or stay one place,” Lu said in annoyance “I am trying to think” he added.
“Okay” Was Jordan’s short reply as he walked to the other side of the table.
He rested on it and waited for Lu to finish his thinking. He didn’t seem bothered as he brought out his phone and began to scroll through it.
“In whatever you are thinking, try to add bringing Davidson back to this place if you want him alive,” Jordan said, he placed his hands on his thighs and shrugged “Just saying”
“What do you mean ‘just saying’?” Lu intoned.
“I traced the car and it lead straight to his house” Jordan left his position to where Lu said, “The last place where a CCTV camera saw the car was in front of his house ” he tapped random keys on the laptop “This was early this morning, now it’s nowhere to be found” he changed the screen face.
Lu went rigid for a while, his heartthrob for Davidson. His plan of saving him from any trouble had been spoiled by him.
“You don’t mean it,” Lu said dryly, he buried his head in his large palms and began to shake “I sent that son of a bitch out to be saved and he went ahead to kill himself?”
It sounded more like a rhetorical question as Jordan only stared at Luciano speechless. If there was anything else to do, Jordan know better to leave the office than remain close to his boss.
The once blue eyes that look peaceful now look like it’s the devil’s invitation. No sign of love or anything good, all Jordan could see was pain, anger, and rage.
He moved away from Luciano and walked towards the door. He had barely reached the door when he heard Lu clear his throat.
“We are going to see Arianna,” Lu said.
The look on Jordan’s face was priceless, he tilted his head to look at Lu’s face well before he crossed his hand behind him. He walked closer and grinned from ear to ear.
“Have you forgotten something, Sir?” He asked as he took two steps forward “We can not let her know who her real captor is”
Still, Lu just stared at him blankly before moving out of his table. He walked past him with his determined face, Letting the young man know he is in a mood where nothing can change his mindset.
He didn’t bother to go and freshen up or something, he just grabbed his phone and walked out of the room. He let Jordan close the door for him, something he had never done before.
On a normal occasion, he would make sure to lock it by himself but now he wants to speak with Arianna urgently.
About a minute ago, Lu felt overconfident. He already had everything planned how he would yell at her, scare her, threaten to kill her if she doesn’t call her father, and tell him to hand Alita over.
He couldn’t just withstand the shock on her face when she see what she had been waiting for.
“Luciano?” Arianna said for the fourth time after staring at him in silence “Why?” She asked.
Although she wasn’t sure of why she was asking the ‘why’ she just feel like it’s not normal to be kidnapped by her cousin. The same cousin she has had a crush on for years even till now.
From her previous sitting position, she stood up to meet his stern face even when her head could only meet his chest.
“I kinda know I would be kidnapped but not by my favorite cousin” She shrugged “Like who won’t kidnap me when my father is planning on buying a girl up to my age to be his sex slave” she rapped.
If Lu know how to use the reverse button on humans he would have used it on Arianna. Even how surprised and sad that he apprehended his cousin, he still couldn’t believe Zeno wants Alita as his sex slave.

“What do you mean a girl about your age?” He managed to ask.
Arianna stared at his blue eyes for a long time before she scoffed. She sat back on the bed and crossed her leg together.
With the look of things, she wasn’t prepared to talk. At least not when Lu knows she wants something, something she had been asking for since they were kids.
“Please say something, Arianna” Lu pleaded “You know I won’t just take you for no reason” he added.
“I get it” Was Arianna’s sarcastic response “Luciano the most feared man in the whole of Italy won’t just kidnap me from my party to watch me seal my lips until he knows what to do” she looked away from him after rolling her eyes.
She double-rolled them again, so hard that they might fall back into her head if she doesn’t stop.
“What do you want?” Luciano asked “Your favorite cupcake?” He suggested.
Arianna sneered, she glared at him before collapsing on the bed. Her legs were still crossed as she used her folded wrist as a pillow.
“Fine!” Lu said angrily “I can send you some money to your account” he tried to sound cheerful but failed badly as Arianna stayed still “Common !!! Say something?” He yelled in his fine Italian accent.
Seeing she had pushed Lu enough with her silence, she sat up and gazed at him. Her small palm tapped the left side of the bed indicating that she wants Lu to sit with her.
Obediently like a good child, Luciano sat close to her, his face would not leave hers as he sat and wait for what she would say patiently.
“I don’t know much” She started “But if you want to know the Little I know you will have to pay for it” she smirked.
She licked her lower lips and placed her left palm on Lu’s zipper area. She seems to enjoy the way he visibly tensed and moved away from her but she remained calm.
“I am not asking for much,” she said “Just a long kiss and I will tell you everything you need to know” she smiled.
With the disgusting look on Lu’s face, he stood up and dust his body, He cleared his throat awkwardly and places both hands behind him.
“We can’t, Arianna” he bluntly said “You are my little cousin” he added.
“We both know how we want to have each other for so long” she stood up and walked toward him “Just a kiss for five minutes and I will tell you everything you want to know” she hold his face.
Her arms rested on his shoulders as she lean closer to him. Her small body was almost lost in his as he wrapped his arms around her and lifted her a bit.
“We can go more if you want” Arianna whispered as Lu’s face moved closer.
Immediately their lips touched, and a faint moan escaped Arianna’s throat. Her eyes flutter before it finally closed.
