Xalia sat on the bed and watched the doctor as he checked her wound, it was a lot better and the pain already reduced drastically. She already took the shot.
“You are good to go.” He said and she nodded with a fake smile, she got off the bed and walked out of the room to see Draven waiting.
Without them saying a word to each other, he walked ahead of her and she trailed behind him. Being lost in thought, Xalia suddenly bumped into a guy and was about to fall, he hurriedly held her hand to stop her from falling.
“Oh my God, I am so sorry. I didn’t mean to… ”
“It’s fine.” He cut her off and smiled at her, Xalia smiled back and they both stared at each other. Draven suddenly stood next to her and gave the guy a questioning look.
“Wade.” The guy called and Xalia rolled her eyes. Of course, everybody knows him.
“Beck.” Draven called back.
“I see you are a friend of Wade.” The guy chuckled.
“She is my wife.” He replied and he looked at Xalia surprised.
“You got married to Wade?” He asked Xalia, looking at him confused.
What type of question is that?
“Well, that’s new. Nice to meet you, Mrs. Wade, my name is Cody.” He introduced himself and extended his hand for a handshake.
“Xalia.” She replied with a smile and tried to accept the handshake but Draven held her hand and pulled her away from him. Xalia looked back over her shoulder as Draven pulled her and she saw Cody smiling at her. He waved at her and she smiled back.
She felt her heart flutter and she turned away from him. Draven pulled her into the elevator and he noticed her cheeks were red. He ignored her and looked away from her.
They got outside the hospital and Xalia met their chauffeur in the parking lot with one of Draven’s cars. She turned to Draven and without saying a word to her, he entered his car and drove away.
Xalia scoffed and walked into the car that was waiting, the chauffeur helped her shut the door and walked to the driver’s seat.
“Such an asshole.” She muttered and closed her eyes as the car drove away.

AT NIGHT
Xalia stayed alone at home all day and also had her dinner alone. She lay on her bed and breathed out, she glanced at the time on her phone and she couldn’t help but worry about Draven.
It was past midnight and he still wasn’t back yet. She found it difficult to sleep and she kept thinking about how dramatic her life had been so far.
She suddenly recalled meeting Cody at the hospital and she smiled. She found him gentle and charming. He kept smiling at her and staring at her, his face had this expression she couldn’t explain.
After a while, she got tired of waiting for Draven when she didn’t hear his car drive in, she closed her eyes and slowly drifted to dreamland.

THE NEXT DAY
Xalia sighed as she ate breakfast alone, she still hadn’t heard from Draven. She questioned the guards in the house if he returned last night but they told her he hadn’t been home.
She was mad at him, but she couldn’t help but worry. After having breakfast, she decided to tour the house. She got to the hallway downstairs and sighed.
She brought out her phone from her pants pocket and dialled Draven’s number. It rang and she sighed as she placed it in her ear.
Her heart raced as she waited for him to pick up the call, he didn’t at the first ring and she called him again. He finally picked up and Xalia’s heart skipped a beat as she waited to hear his voice.
“Draven.” She called after a few seconds of silence.
“Yeah?” She heard him say and she felt relieved, she was scared something happened to him.
“Draven, you didn’t come home last night. Is everything okay?”
“Do you need anything?” He ignored her question.
“I just wanted to check up on you.”
“I’m fine.” He replied and ended the call, she sighed and walked back to the living room. She froze as she saw Draven in the living room. He was going through his phone.
‘He is home already?’ She thought.
“I didn’t know you were home already.” She said and he looked up at her.
“Come with me.” He ordered and walked ahead of her, Xalia trailed behind him. They both climbed the stairs and walked down the hallway, Xalia gulped as she saw him stopping in front of the room linked to the red room.
They both walked in and headed to the closet, he unlocked the room and they both walked in.
“Draven.” She called and he didn’t give her a response, he took off his shirt and walked to his shelf. Xalia watched him and didn’t say a word.
She wondered why he was mad at her. She deserves to be mad at him, not the other way around.
“Take off your clothes.” He ordered without turning to her. Xalia obeyed and took off her clothes including her underwear, the room was cold and she wrapped her arms around herself.
“Kneel.” He ordered and she obeyed. He turned to her holding a leather bondage, she looked up at him as he moved closer to her.
“Put your hands behind your back.”
“I didn’t agree that it should be used on me.” She said, staring at the leather bondage.
“Just put your hands behind your back.” He replied coldly and she sighed before she did.
“Open your mouth.” He said as he moved behind her, she did and he wrapped it around her mouth. Xalia shivered as his hands touched her bare skin.
He trailed the bondage belt down to her waist and tied her hands behind her. Xalia hissed in pain and closed her eyes.
“It’s too tight, Draven.” She muttered and he loosened it a bit. He walked to her presence and bent in front of her, she stared at him and he stared back at her.
Tears started to cloud her eyes and Draven looked away. He sat next to her and ran his hands through his hair.
“I know you can’t talk. Just listen.” He said and Xalia sniffed, the position she was in was uncomfortable and her arms were hurting.
“We are getting divorced in two months.” He said and Xalia froze, he glanced at her to see her reaction but he noticed she had no expression on her face.
“The reason isn’t necessary.” He added and he heard her groan, he lifted his hand and loosened the belt a bit, he removed it from her mouth and she sighed.
“Why?” She asked.
“You will no longer be useful to me.”
