Draven and Henry watched as their men drew out a plan on a map and explained to them how the plan would be carried out. Henry’s phone suddenly rang and Draven gave him a look, he picked up his phone and looked at the caller.
“It’s Allison.” He said and Draven rolled his eyes, Henry ended the call but she called back in a few seconds.
“I will just answer the call and know what she wants.” He said and picked up the call.
“Why the fuck did you end the call?” She screamed and he withdrew the phone from his ear immediately.
“Fuck. Why did you yell like that?” He asked and Draven turned to him while the men stopped talking.
“I am at the hospital.”
“Why are you at the hospital?”
“Xalia got stabbed.” She replied and Henry looked at Draven.
“What? What hospital? We will be there.”
“I will send the address.” She replied and ended the call.
“What’s wrong?” Draven asked.
“It’s Xalia, she got stabbed and she is in the hospital.”
“What?” Draven muttered and rushed out of the room with Henry.

MINUTES LATER
Draven and Henry rushed down the hallway and met Allison sitting on a chair in front of a ward.
“Where is she?” Draven asked.
“She is in there, the doctors said she lost a lot of blood.”
“How the fuck did that happen?” Draven yelled and she flinched.
“Hey, don’t yell at her man.” Henry said and pulled Allison to himself as she shivered in fear.
“It happened in the hallway on our floor, you said no one had access to the place but we were going into the room when a man dressed in black walked out of the elevator, he suddenly ran towards us and… ” Allison trailed off as she recalled the scene. She realised Xalia wasn’t the target.
“And what?” Henry asked and tears clouded her eyes.
“I was the target. He wanted to stab me but Xalia stood in the way.”
“Did you see who it was?” Henry asked and she shook her head in tears.
“I’m sorry.” She cried and he pulled her into a hug.
“It’s fine, it was not your fault.” Henry muttered and glanced at Draven who remained quiet.
The door to the ward opened and the doctor walked out, they all turned to him.
“It’s okay. She is fine. She is sleeping now but you can go in.” The doctor told them and they nodded.
“Good to see you, Mr. Wade.” The doctor greeted Draven and he nodded.
“Is it that famous?” Allison whispered to Henry.
“Of course.” Henry replied.
The doctor walked away and they all walked into the ward, Draven paused as he stared at her pale body. She was sleeping peacefully and the machine next to her beeped.
Allison sat on the chair next to the bed and held her hand.
“I am so sorry Xalia.” She apologised and squeezed her hand lightly. Henry glanced at Draven who just stood and watched her.
He moved closer to him and stood next to him.
“Hey man, are you good?” Henry asked and he nodded in response.
“Do you know who did this?” Henry whispered.
“Yeah, it is Harrison. He just wanted to eliminate Allison for no reason because he knows he can’t get to Xalia.” Draven whispered back.
“Harrison knows they are in the hotel?”
“Yeah, Xalia ran into him a few days ago.” He replied and Henry sighed.
“What are we going to do about this? We didn’t come here for Harrison and we won’t be done until a few days.”
“I know what to do.” He replied and Allison turned to them.
“Why will someone try to kill me anyway? I didn’t do anything wrong.”
“Just lay low for a while.” Henry replied and she sighed.
“I really wish she didn’t step in, she is not so strong like I am.” Allison sighed as she stared at Xalia.
“Please be okay.”

HOURS LATER
It was past midnight already and Henry and Allison were already asleep, Draven sat on the bed and watched her, he couldn’t fall asleep. All he wanted was for her to wake up.
He suddenly heard her moan and she slowly opened her eyes, he felt so relieved but his face held no expression.
“Draven?” She called but it came out like a whisper.
“Hey.” He replied and held her hand.
“You are here.” She said with a smile and he nodded.
“How are you feeling? Are you feeling any pain?” He asked and she shook her head in response.
“I didn’t leave the hotel. I didn’t disobey you, it happened in the… ”
“It’s okay, it’s fine.” He cut her off and she sighed in relief, a tear rolled down her eyes and Draven had a weird feeling. He hasn’t felt that way in years.
“Hey, don’t cry. I am not mad at you.” He said and lifted his hand, he touched her hair and creased it.
Xalia sniffed and he moved his hand to her cheeks, he wiped her tears and moved his hand back to her hair.
Xalia looked around and her eyes fell on Allison and Henry, they were asleep on the chair and she smiled.
“You have been up all night?” Xalia asked turning back to Draven and he nodded in response.
“You should get some sleep.”
“I don’t feel sleepy.”
“Aren’t you tired?”
“No.” He replied.
“You can’t sit all night.”
“It’s almost dawn, it’s 3:00a. m.”
“Draven, come on.” She said and he sighed. He slowly took off his shoes and lay next to her on the bed, the bed was big enough for two people.
He didn’t let go of her hand and they both stared at each other.
“You are going to be okay.” Draven said and she smiled.
“Yeah, I will. As long as you are with me.”
He moved his free hand to her cheek and he creased it.
“You know, I still have your list and I didn’t forget about it.” He said and she chuckled.
“I thought you did.”
“Nah, I have just been busy lately.”
“I know. Does this mean you will get me my Steiff Louis Vuitton Teddy Bear?” She asked with her smile growing wider.
“You are on a hospital bed and all you can think about is a Teddy Bear.” He said and she giggled.
“I want it.”
“I am still thinking about it.”
“Okay.” She replied and smiled.
“Do you know why you being this way bothers me so much?” He asked as he creased her cheeks.
“Why?” She asked.
“Hmm, I won’t tell you anymore.” He said and she laughed lightly.
“Come on Draven, tell me.”
“No Xalia.” He replied and she giggled.
“You are such a baby.” He muttered and pulled her cheeks which made her giggle again.
“My baby.”
