“Draven.” She called and held the tip of her gown tightly in fear, Draven ignored her and he waited patiently for her to do what he ordered her to.
“Please Draven, please don’t punish me.” She begged with tears in her eyes and he didn’t utter any word.
“We are heading back to New Jersey today, the honeymoon is over.” He suddenly said and stood up, he walked up the stairs and Xalia sighed in relief.
For a second, she thought she was about to get whipped and tortured, She sighed as she realized she was starting a new life in New Jersey with the stranger she got married to, she never pictured her life outside Atlanta or not being with Kyle.
She is going to be all alone, with no friends or family, just Draven and Henry, such a life.

MANY HOURS LATER
AT NIGHT
Xalia felt a soft tap on her cheeks and she groaned, She heard a familiar voice call her name and she slowly opened her eyes and looked around, She was confused about where she was so she closed her eyes back.
“Xalia.” She heard his husky voice and she opened her eyes, she looked around and finally knew where she was, they were both in a car, they left for New Jersey a few hours ago and she got tired when they landed, she fell asleep immediately they entered the car.
“We are here.” He said and she slowly sat up, she looked out the window and she saw a man dressed in black walking towards the door, he opened the car door and Draven held her hand, he pulled her out of the car and Xalia’s eyes widened in shock at the sight before her.
She had seen multiple mansions before and she had lived in one but this one right here was huge and fancy, She turned to Draven and he gave him a questioning look.
“What?” He asked and she chuckled, she placed her hands on her cheeks and smiled at him.
“Is this your house?” She asked and he nodded.
“Yeah, this is the Wade’s mansion.” He replied and she turned to the house again.
“Oh my God Draven.” She giggled and he rolled his eyes.
“Let’s go in, it’s late already.” He said and held her hand, he pulled her towards the entrance and she anticipated how it was going to look inside.
They finally got in had Xalia giggled, Draven shook his head and watched her.
“I am Mrs. Wade right?” She suddenly asked with a serious expression.
“Well, we got married.”
“Yeah, and so?”
“So technically we are married.”
“So, we both own this right?” She asked with a smile and Draven shrugged.
“Maybe.” He replied and she let go of Draven’s hand, She clapped her hands happily and giggled again.
The maids suddenly walked into the living room and bowed, The door opened and the guards walked in carrying their bags, They handed them to a few maids and walked out back.
“Welcome back Mr. Wade.” They chorused and Draven turned to Xalia.
“Are you hungry?” He asked and she shook her head like a child.
“You all are dismissed.” He ordered and the maids bowed before walking away while the maids with their bags headed up the stairs.
Draven suddenly pulled Xalia to himself and her face came in contact with his chest, She let out a little scream and buried her face in his chest.
“Look at me.” He ordered and she looked up at him.
“What did I tell you about using your words?” He asked and Xalia realized she only shook her head in response.
“I’m sorry.” She apologized and he let go of her, he held her hand and walked towards the stairs.
Xalia was surprised he let her go that easily, They both got to the hallway and Xalia looked around, there were a lot of doors and she wondered how many rooms were in the house.
Draven pulled her to a door and slowly opened it, They both walked in and her eyes travelled across the room, She noticed her bags were at the entrance of the closet and she bit her lip before turning to Draven.
“Is this my room?” She asked Draven and he nodded.
“Aren’t we supposed to be in the same room?” She asked.
“I can’t share a room with my submissive.” He replied and Xalia exhaled, Of course, she is his family’s submissive, was she expecting something higher?
“You should go to bed now, we have a lot of things to do tomorrow.” He said and walked out of her room before she could give him a response.
Xalia breathed out and took off her clothes, she hurriedly went through her bags and picked up a comfortable wear, she put it on and fell on the king-sized bed. She was too tired to admire the room, so she decided to the next day.

THE NEXT DAY
MORNING
Xalia groaned in her sleep as she heard voices, She slowly opened her eyes and screamed in fear when she saw the maids standing so close to her bed.
“Good morning ma’am.” They chorused and she frowned finding it so creepy.
“Step back a little bit.” She ordered and the maids did, She sighed in relief and slowly stood up from the bed.
She looked around her room and noticed there were a lot more maids in her room than the ones standing so close to her bed, She rolled her eyes at how dramatic it looked.
Some maids were cleaning her room, while some were arranging her things.
“We have prepared your bathe ma’am.” One of them said and she nodded, She headed into the bathroom and they trailed behind her. She paused when she noticed that were following her, she slowly turned to them and sighed.
“You know what? You all should leave.” She ordered.
“But ma’am, Mr. Wade… ”
“Get out.” She said and they all walked out of her room, She sighed in relief and headed into the bathroom.

Xalia walked down the stairs and the maids escorted her to the dining, she met Draven there and she played with her fingers.
“Good morning.” She greeted and he made a hand gesture to her, she understood and she slowly walked towards him.
He pulled her to sit on his lap and she did, she wrapped his arm around her waist and played with her fingers nervously.
“Morning Mrs. Wade.” He muttered and pecked her cheeks which left Xalia wondering.
What got into him this time?
