Evelyn POV
I took my steps as fast as I could, examining everywhere and thinking of how worried Miss Lu would be.
Since I came with Freddie to this place, Miss Lu has been the only person who took good care of me.
Immediately I entered the inner pack house, I saw Miss Lu sitting on the couch staring into space as if she was disturbed about something, that she barely noticed my presence.
“Miss Lu “I called out and got no response.
“Miss Lu ” I called out more loudly and gave her a slight tap on her shoulder as she immediately came back to reality.
“Red, where have been? I was worried about you” she said
“I went out with Lorelei, Miss Lu, I’m sorry I didn’t know you would be worried,” I said apologetically.
“Ok, my child but you should have told me where you were heading.” She complained.
“I’m sorry Miss Lu “I repeated.
“It’s okay, just always tell me whenever you’re going out so I won’t be worried about you.
“By the way did you enjoy your outing ?” She asked
“Yes Miss Lu, Lorelei is so kind, she took me to the common shelter towards the Newcastle and showed me sculptures and explained the history behind them and took me toward the blue …… I stopped talking, I didn’t know if Miss Lu was aware of the blue flower lily, I didn’t know if it was proper for me as a human to also know as it was only useful for the wolves, I didn’t want to implicate Lorelei, I know miss Lu doesn’t like her after seeing the way she talked to her the other day”, I thought as I stopped talking
“The blue what…” Miss Lu asked with all sorts of curiosity written all over her face.
“I meant the blood moon sculpture,” I said hurriedly
“Ohh, that is what supreme lord Scott used to rescue us the whole people of Blue Moon from Skull the most powerful wolf pack “.
“Yeah, Lorelei took her time to explain everything to me,” I said not wanting her to ask any more questions.
“I will be in my room “Miss Lu said as I stormed off and went directly into my room and shut the door
“I thought of how prominent the blue flower lily was, it showed a radiant and vibrant colour that could radiate one’s mood”
“There’s a lot of hidden things in this pack that I need to know, and I’ll make sure I get to know everything”. I assured myself.
Lorelei Pov
Immediately Red left, I went back to take my shift in guiding the blue flower lily. On my back, I thought about Red and how she copes in this pack knowing that she knew nothing about this place, she is just a naive little lady who was caught up by fate and was so unfortunate to meet someone like Freddie.
She doesn’t know anything about anyone now and she doesn’t know people in Blue Moon are not as good and generous as they appear and claim to be.
After Freddie’s father died he handed over the throne to Freddie Although he wasn’t like this before, but situation caught him off and he just had to act according to his father’s order.
He became a monster that taunts everyone in the blue moon and now Red is going to be a victim of his brutality. I pray he doesn’t scare her because she’s just a sweet lady whose past she can’t remember and needs a lot of love.
I know Freddie is not available in Blue Moon now, but I want to use this opportunity to get close to Red and let her know a little About Freddie and not get attached to the friendly behaviour he shows, he isn’t the kind of person he claims to be.
I had been a victim of his ruthlessness and it wasn’t easy to get over his torture, I thought as I immediately remembered Jeremy
Jeremy was the best person who understood every move I took or took the decision I took. He was a very reliable person and I loved him so much.
But fate did not grant us what we wished and it was quite unfortunate that I was left alone while Freddie was there searching for love while he was the one who destroyed mine, I will never let him get what he deserves, I will make sure I destroy him.
If only Jeremy was here to comfort me, Deep down I miss him. I miss his touches, his playful act, his bright brown eyes, the way he looks at me lustfully, nibbles my cheeks and the way he caresses my body makes me want more of him, I miss him so much.
After a long day locked up in a room wallowing in sadness, pain of revenge and memories, I decided to take a walk toward Red’s home to see how she was doing.
I gave a slight knock on the iron magnificent door of the inner pack house doors and heard no response of any sort from inside the pack
I gave a louder knock as the door was immediately opened by Miss Lu
“Good day “Miss Lu I said
“What are you doing here? “Miss Lu asked without even replying to my greetings
“I’m here to see how Red is doing”. I explained
“You don’t have any right to see how Red is doing’ you are not a babysitter neither is she a baby” Miss Lu replied rudely
“Red is my friend and I have every right to look after her and know her state of well-being,” I said calmly trying to reduce the tension Miss Lu was emitting, Even though I was already feeling nervous.
“She isn’t your friend, she she’sFreddie’se woman, don’t even try to interfere in their relationship because it will just turn out to no avail, so just don’t attempt to “Miss Lu snapped at me without remorse
Miss Lu has been a mother-like structure to Freddie and his family since their parents passed on, she knew about Freddie’s act and never chastised him for his wrongdoings, she always condoled his acts and protected him whenever he was supposed to be scolded.
I know she knew About what Freddie did to me and Jeremy and never mentioned anything, she always took Freddie’s side every time, maybe because she wanted her daughter, Claudia to be betrothed to him that’s why she always supported him in whatever he did.
Miss Lu lived opposite my house before she started working in the inner pack house of Blue Moon and was always known for the truth but her desire for her daughter to be the next Alpha wife made her change. People don’t see her like that, but whenever you try to go near Freddie, she’s always an obstacle.
Her child Claudia sleeps around like hore with everyone she comes across, Doesn’t she know she can never be a match to Freddie?
But no she never wants anyone to take that space in Freddie’s life.
“I just want to ask About her well-being, I’m not interfering in anyone’s relationship. You know I was betrothed to Freddie and you think I will be jealous seeing that he has another woman in his life. I repeat I WAS betrothed to him, but not anymore Miss Lu l, we are not together, we are apart now, so what’s the big deal? I am now with Jeremy and there’s no one else that can replace him in my heart. I said letting her know there is no other place for anyone in my heart.
Just as Miss Lu was about to talk Red came down the stairs looking towards me with a broad smile and asked what was going on
“What’s going on here? Am I missing anything ?” Red asked with so much curiosity
“Noth…Nothing Red, don’t bother about it Red, it’s nothing” Miss Lu quickly said before I said anything
“Yeah It’s nothing Red” I said assuring Red that everything was okay
“Are you sure Miss Lu? Lorelei? “She said as she looked towards me
“Yes everything is fine” I said
“Okay, Lorelei, then come in, what should I offer you? I know nothing I cook would be as delicious as what you cook, so just accept what I serve you” Red said as we all laughed
“Red doesn’t make it sound that way, I’m also not the best, there are others better than me,” I said as she began strolling toward the kitchen and started making sandwiches and coffee
I wasn’t sure if she was a good cook, but I knew that Freddie wouldn’t take someone who doesn’t know how to serve him well as his woman, that bastard” I thought as pain struck my heart and made me breathless for a second before I caught my breaths again
“Yeah Lorelei I’m done please come to the dining room and taste the delicious delicacy I made especially for you”
“Red always reminds me of my sister, she was just as innocent as Red with bright green eyes and brown hair with a slender body”
“Lorelei …..” Red called again as I immediately stood up and went straight to the dining room where Red had already served me
“Hmm … it looks yummy,” I said as I immediately felt my stomach rumbling sounds
“Not like yours,” Red said with certainty
I quickly devoured him and I wouldn’t lie it was delicious. I finished eating and thanked Red for the meal
“It was so delicious ” I complimented her
“Thanks, Lorelei, can we take a stroll out of this place, we could as well continue our tour from the other day. Red requested
“Is that so? Well, I don’t see a problem with that” I said as I and Red began to walk side by side out of the building while chatting idly.
After walking for a while we were both puzzled by how quiet the street was but didn’t pay that much attention to how quiet the street was.
“By the way about the blue flower lily, have you caught the culprit who constantly stole the blue flower lily, since I find this even strange I can’t stop thinking about it” Red asked while humming quietly.
“The case of the blue flower lily stills reminds a mystery even to the higherups, but what puzzles me the most is that even if the blue flower lily is quite hidden with a good spell and illusion it still does not stop those who steal the blue flower lily from continuously stealing them,” Lorelei said.
“My taught exactly but….” Before Red could finish her words she was rudely interrupted by a man in red who stopped their front while trying to breathe, as he inhaled deeply while he became once again composed.
“My ladies sorry for rudely interrupting you but we have found a clue about the massive disappearance of the blue flower lily am sure my ladies would be interested in the role lead of this case, if it’s not much would you like to take a look? The man asked.
Instinctively red and Lorelei looked at each other as they quietly nodded.
After the man in red saw this immediately began to lead the way while respectfully saying one or two words which Red and Lorelei would say one or two things once in a while.
After walking for a while both Lorelei and Red reached a dead end in the bushy forest but at this point, red was seriously concerned.
“How are we going to open the path to the blue flower lily since it’s still in the morning” Red asked in concern.
“That’s the list out of all the situations around here we could just open it by spraying moon dust or sand of mist” the man carefully explained.
“Hummm.. I see carry on with opening the path to blue flower lily” Red said as she held Lorelei’s hands just for comfort.
