“God, I’ve waited so long for this,” Theodore murmured and groaned when he thrust inside me making me moan.
“Yeah well I told you if you won’t let the doctors take care of you then we won’t be having sex until you’re all better,” I replied as I moaned at the delicious feeling of having Theodore filling me.
“You denied me for two months, even though I was perfectly fine after a month,” he said thrusting into me hard and fast.
“The wound wasn’t fully healed, it was just scabbed over,” I argued, clutching on to his back as he drove me to the edge of orgasm.
“I am a strong man, not a four year old that you denied me an extra month for a bloody scab, princess,” he retorted.
I was about to reply but Theodore’s final thrust sent me over the edge, making me lose my voice while making me see stars as I rode wave after wave of pleasure until my body fell limp. Theodore followed with his orgasm right after me, his body stiffening as he grunted, filling me with his seed.
“You better not deny me ever again, darling,” Theodore muttered, rolling to his side pulling me with him until my face met his chest.
Theodore began peppering kisses all over me as I slowly came back to Earth, my body spent. In return, I tangled my fingers in his hair while enjoying the soft feeling of his lips on me.
My mind went all the way back to when I first met Theodore. He was so mean and had been downright terrifying sometimes. I never imagined my life with Theodore being more than just his personal assistant. But somehow, fate had brought us together, eliminating my fear and hatred and replacing it with love. And now, Theodore and I had gotten rid of Ian, who was out to ruin our lives, which had brought us even closer together. I knew now, that I wouldn’t hesitate to kill if someone was out to cause harm to the ones I love. And I knew that Theodore would do the same.
“How are my babies doing?” Theodore asked kissing my tummy, which had grown considerably in the past two months.
“They are sleeping, I think,” I answered with a smile on my face.
“Have you decided on the names, yet?” he questioned, placing a hand on my tummy in a protective manner.
“No not yet, do you have any idea?” I asked him.
“I always liked the name Callum maybe with can name our boy Callum, I’m not sure what to name my daughter, because I can’t seem to find the perfect name for her,” Theodore replied, absently stroking my swollen belly.
“We can name the boy Theo, after you, and Judy for our daughter after your mom,” I suggested.
Theodore grimaced. “Yeah, no we’re not doing that same name crap, I hate it. Our children deserve their own unique name and identity, so we’re going to keep looking for names until we find the right ones,” Theodore stated making me roll my eyes.
Theodore and I visited the OB/GYN two weeks ago, eager to listen to the babies’ heartbeats and even find out the sex of the babies. To say Theodore was nervous that day would be an understatement. He wouldn’t let his grip on my hand loosen, I was afraid I would end up with frozen fingers. When the OB/GYN told us that the babies’ heartbeats were strong and that they looked healthy, she asked if we wanted to know the sex of the babies to which Theodore and I nodded. After a minute the doctor gave us the big news that Theodore and I were having a boy and a girl. After that Theodore wouldn’t stop grinning and when the news reached the Bensons, they threw a mini celebratory party.
“We need to pick out a color for their room,” Theodore said, his gaze not leaving my belly.
“I like the color gray,” I told him.
“Gray is not a children’s color. Maybe tomorrow we can go and find the perfect color and to look for furniture as well, we could buy clothes as well,” he said with a smile on his face.
“Okay, but I don’t think we need to buy clothes, your parents have already bought enough clothes to fit a walk-in closet for the babies, I don’t think we need to buy toys or clothes,” I replied with a smile.
“Yeah you’re right,” Theodore muttered, sulking slightly. “I’m not happy with my family doing all this. They are taking away my joy of being a father by buying stuff for my children. I’m supposed to buy clothes and toys for my children not anybody else. And I can’t even say no to them.”
“It’s okay, we can buy other things for the children. And when our babies will grow up they will always come to you if they want something.” I tried to make him feel better even though I was chuckling inside.
Theodore nodded with a small smile. “I’m never going to deny my kids anything, I’ll buy them whatever they want…except drugs, yeah I’m not going to buy drugs for them,” he said while I laughed out loud.
“I’m not sure whether you’ll be able to deny them if they ask for drugs,” I mocked.
Theodore’s eyes darkened which caused my heart to race. He looked so sexy when he went into his alpha role it made my knees turn to jelly.
“You wanna bet?” he challenged.
“Yes,” I answered breathlessly.
Theodore did nothing but lowered his mouth to mine while his fingers dipped inside me and I was lost in the sea of sensation.
“What are we having for lunch?” Theodore asked, sitting beside me on the sofa.
“Not sure, haven’t decided, is there something you want to eat?” I couldn’t tear my eyes away from the TV screen.
“No, anything is fine, I was just asking, by the way I’m going to take a shower,” Theodore said, standing up.
“Why? You just had a shower two hours ago,” I muttered looking at him.
“Yeah, but I just feel like showering again,” he replied and walked to our bedroom, leaving me with The Beauty And The Beast.
After watching two episodes of Beauty And The Beast, I was eagerly waiting for the third one to start when Julie entered the living room.
“Hailey, there is a woman here to see you and Mr. Benson, shall I let her in?” Julie asked me with a soft voice.
“Mr. Benson is currently busy, and what is the woman’s name?” I enquired with a frown. Who would come to visit Theodore and I? And a woman?
“She didn’t tell me her name, she only said she needed to see you and Mr. Benson urgently,” she informed, making my confusion rise.
Just who in the world was this woman?
I pursed my lips in thought, then nodded at Julie. “Yeah, okay, let her in,” I said.
Julie nodded and walked away, leaving me pondering on the question, exactly who was this woman who was so desperate to meet Theodore and I?
Not long had Julie left that she returned followed by a woman. Once the woman was sitting on the sofa next to the one I was sitting on, did I nod for Julie to leave us. Once Julie was gone, I ran my eyes over to the unknown woman. She had black hair that were cascading down her back in waves all the way down to her waist. She had a heart-shaped face, with thin, dark eyebrows; a straight nose; crimson, plump lips. But her eyes were what captured my attention. She had the most beautiful hazel eyes I had ever seen. And her eyes were what made her look so innocent.
She was wearing a bright red dress with stiletto heels, holding a big red purse in her hand. I thought maybe it was too bright for her to wear a red dress in the morning, but then shook it off. I was no one to judge her dressing style. If she wanted to wear a dress then she had every right to wear it.
“Hello, I’m Hailey, who are you?” I asked politely.
“Where’s Theodore?” she asked with a small frown, her eyes flitting here and there.
At the mention of my husband I had my guard up. Who was this woman? And why was she using my husband’s name so casually?
“He is busy at the moment,” I answered her. “You didn’t tell me your name,” I pointed out.
“I’m Cindy Black, I’m a friend of Theodore’s, I want to see him or his wife, please can you call them,” she said.
My eyes narrowed as my anger flared. So this was Cindy. The bitch who had ruined my husband’s life. She had cheated on her husband in college and nearly destroyed Theodore’s life, why the bloody hell was she here now? And was she blind? Couldn’t she see that I was Theodore’s wife?! But that was okay, I’d show her exactly who she was dealing with.
“I’m Theodore’s wife, Hailey, and my husband is busy, would you tell me why are you here?” I asked, my tone frosty.
Cindy’s eyes flashed as her facial features transformed. From looking like an innocent doll she changed into a witch. A witch out to destroy. However, this bitch didn’t know that I was going to destroy her, before she could even think about laying a hand on Theodore.
“So, you’re the low life he had decided to marry. Sad, I thought he would marry someone who would resemble me,” she sneered.
I cocked my head to the side as if contemplating something. “Hmm, maybe that’s why he didn’t marry someone who resembled you, nobody wants to be reminded of a desperate bitch who had to blackmail them into having sex with her on a daily basis,” I retorted with a sacchrine smile.
“Watch your tone with me,” Cindy hissed and stood up.
“Or what?” I stood up, crossing my arms across my chest.
Cindy’s eyes landed on my very pregnant belly and her eyes widened. “You’re pregnant?!” she shrieked in disbelief.
“Yeah so?” I raised my eyebrows.
“It’s disgusting how a woman who doesn’t deserve Theodore gets him and now is pregnant with his baby, you know pregnancy doesn’t suit you, you look even more ugly with that gigantic tummy; by the way, is the baby even Theo’s?” she taunted.
My eyes narrowed as fury exploded in my chest. This bitch wasn’t just crazy, she was downright psychotic. And she had the audacity to question the legitimacy of my babies! This bitch was only digging her own grave by spewing crap like that.
“First of all, it’s babies, plural, and second, sweetheart, I never blackmailed Theodore into marrying me and getting me pregnant unlike someone I know.” I ran my over her as I said this. “Actually, it was the other way around,” I said smugly.
“You bitch!” Cindy shouted, her eyes wide, anger flashing in the hazel irises. Gritting her teeth, she rummaged in her purse and pulled out a gun. Throwing her bag on the sofa she pointed the gun at me.
“Put the gun away,” I ordered, instantly worried about my babies.
“I’ll put this gun away once I shoot you and your babies,” she sneered.
“Cindy, I’m warning you,” I told her, trying to keep my voice steady. I had to distract her long enough for someone to get here. I opened my mouth to call Julie or any of the other maids but Cindy waved the gun in front of my face.
“Don’t even think about calling anyone. You stole my man and now you’re planning to trap him by being pregnant, I’m going to kill you,” she spitted out. Her face now looking as if it belonged to someone who wasn’t mentally sane.
“Okay, okay, I’m not calling for help, but put the gun down, you’ll hurt somebody,” I said, stepping slightly to the right, so I could get out of the living room.
“The only person I’m going to using this gun on is you. Not only did you marry the man who was destined for me, but because of you my husband is now paralyzed, and you’re going to pay for this. You’re going to pay for taking and destroying my happiness!” she screamed.
“I-I did not paralyze Ian, he was trying to kill Theodore and security came and shot him,” I lied, taking a couple of steps back, almost out of the living room.
“He wasn’t going to kill Theodore, Ian’s not like that,” she defended, moving forward, the gun still pointed at me.
I mentally rolled my eyes. If she only knew exactly how demented her husband was. But she was just as deranged as Ian was if not more so, but I wasn’t going to tell her that, I had more important things to worry about.
“Ian had a gun pointed at Theodore, pretty much the same way you’re pointing the gun at me,” I said to her, stepping a few feet back, aiming to head to the direction of the kitchen so I could get my hands on a knife.
“So what?! He might’ve did that just to scare him, and stop moving before I shoot your brain,” she shouted, making me freeze in my spot.
Cindy strode forward until she was standing just a few feet away from me, the gun was now only a few centimeters from my right cheek.
“Cindy, stop this, killing me won’t bring you anything, it wouldn’t make you feel better.” I tried to reason with her, but the wild look in her eyes told me that she was too far gone to listen to any reason. Just like her husband, Cindy was so filled with hatred and the need for revenge she had cut all ties with her sanity.
“Killing you will give me everything. By killing you Theodore will be mine and I would’ve avenged my husband.”
The sound of a gun shot pierced the air, making me scream and close my eyes. I expected to feel pain, but I felt nothing. Was that what getting shot felt like? You felt nothing? I thought one would feel excruciating pain, but I felt nothing.
Strong arms banded around me while my head collided with a solid chest. I opened my eyes to find myself in Theodore’s embrace. His scent travelled up my nose making me feel safe. His heart was beating fast and he was breathing heavily.
“Darling, are you okay, say something? Are you hurt? Did she do anything to you?” Theodore ran his eyes over me, concern shining in his gray eyes. He ran his hands over my body making sure I wasn’t hurt.
“I’m fine, Theo, she didn’t do anything, you came just in time,” I reassured him.
“God, I swear I’m going kill the bitch,” he growled, kissing me swiftly on the lips.
“Wait, you didn’t kill her?” I asked, I thought he would’ve shot her dead.
“No, I just hit her on the head with the butt of my gun to knock her out. The sound of the gun shot you heard was of her gun which thank the Lord missed you by mere inches. I’m glad she had a terrible aim, otherwise God knows what would’ve happened; I can’t even think about it,” Theodore told me, stroking my belly with one hand while keeping his other hand on my waist.
“So what happens now?” I questioned, looking at an unconscious Cindy sprawled on the floor.
“I’ve called the cops, they would be here any minute.” Theodore looked at Cindy. “My father told me never to hit a woman.”
“Then why did you?” I queried with a small smile.
“She’s not a woman, she’s a bitch, so his rules don’t apply,” he stated with a smirk on his face.
“I thought she was going to kill me, but I was more worried about the babies,” I muttered, tears blurred my vision as the impact of what just happend hit me.
“Hey, no one is going to kill you, you know why, because you can’t get away from me, ever,” Theodore murmured softly, pulling me to him. When he ran his fingers through my hair I instantly calmed down.
“If you hadn’t come-” I trailed off, as tears fell from my eyes.
“Sshh, it’s over, you’re safe, we’re safe,” Theodore cooed softly, kissing my temple.
“I love you,” I said, my voice breaking, as I clutched on to Theodore tightly.
“I love you, too, flower, always.”
