Book:Blackmail by a billionaire Published:2024-8-29

“Good morning, darling, I love you,” Theodore whispered in my ear before placing butterfly kisses all over my neck waking me from my slumber.
“I’m still mad at you,” I grumbled rubbing my eyes.
Theodore chuckled. “Yes, but I’m sure I’ll kill all the anger you have towards me by the end of this day,” Theodore muttered before kissing my cheek.
“Don’t be so sure, Theodore Benson.” I frowned.
“I am sure, darling,” Theodore stated confidently.
Theodore began nuzzling my neck, while occassionally biting sensitive areas making liquid heat pool in my nether regions. His hand slowly travelled down my body and cupped my core; a lone finger dipped inside me making me shudder and moan in pure ecstacy.
“Not fair, Theodore, using s3x to gain advantage over me,” I breathed closing my eyes lost in the feel of Theodore’s finger pumping in and out of me.
“I never play fair, my princess, never play fair when it comes to you.” Theodore added another finger, causing my pleasure to spike.
Slowly and slowly my pleasure built. I buried my face in Theodore’s chest letting him work me up. Theodore added another finger making me gasp at the sudden onslaught of sensation. I felt stretched and oh so full, clutching on to Theodore’s biceps as he continued to build my pleasure. My nerve endings were tingling, my skin enjoying Theodore’s torment. I didn’t care that Theodore was marring my skin with his mouth, my attention was solely focused on his magical fingers and the continuous pleasure they continued to provide-pushing me higher higher, closer to nirvana.
Just as I reached my ultimate high, Theodore withdrew his fingers, instead settled himself between my legs. Before I could utter a word, Theodore’s thickness slid inside me effectively silencing me. I wrapped my arms and legs tightly around him, feeling him touch the deepest parts of not only my body but my soul as well.
After a few deep strokes, Theodore grunted and his body, on top of me, stiffened as he reached his climax. His climax was immediately followed by mine as I was tipped over the edge and experienced an rgasm so intense I actually saw stars flash before my eyes.
Theodore’s caresses were the first thing I felt when I came back to Earth. I raised my eyes to him to see him smiling affectionately at me, love shining in his eyes.
“Am I forgiven now?” Theodore questioned.
“No, still mad at you,” I responded but cuddled with Theodore.
“Tell me, flower, what exactly are you mad at?” Theodore inquired now stroking my hair tenderly.
“Well other than the fact you didn’t trust me, I’m mad that you expressed your jealousy in such a harsh way,” I replied bluntly.
“I do trust you, my darling, it’s that a$$hole I don’t trust, and why wouldn’t I be jealous, there is a man after my wife, I would never accept that,” Theodore responded firmly.
“You know, Ian?” I asked. The way he was talking, it was clear that he knew Ian, personally.
“Yes, I do, I wish I didn’t though,” he confessed making my curiosity perk.
“You know, when I met him the first time, he did say that you and him were old friends,” I told him.
Theodore’s eyes narrowed, sparks of barely contained fury flashed in the gray depths. “Stay away from him, Hailey, Ian is bad news,” Theodore gritted. I didn’t want Theodore to be angry early morning. Not thinking about my actions, I begun peppering kisses on his chest. I wanted to kiss his lips, but my morning breath was not exactly a pleasent thing.
Eventually, Theodore’s body relax making me sigh in relief. Angry Theodore was dangerous Theodore. He buried his face in my breath and inhaled deeply.
“Tell me you’ll stay away from Ian, Hailey, he is not a good man,” Theodore murmured in my hair.
“Why do you say he is a bad man, tell me about him, Theodore,” I requested not wanting to give rise to his ire.
“That’s a story for another day,” Theodore said getting off me and out of bed. “Right now I got to get ready for work, join me in the shower?” Theodore asked with a confident smile.
Despite wanting to know the story about Ian, I let it go, I knew Theodore would eventually tell me. I quickly got up, put my nightgown on then raced in the bathroom, Theodore’s laugh echoing against the tiles. “I’ll take that as a yes.”
After Theodore left for work, I relaxed in the house. Today I decided to make dinner for Theodore. I still had time until I was supposed to meet Amanda, so I thought why not cook dinner; when Theodore would come I would only heat up the dinner and it would be ready to eat. I was rummaging in the kitchen cabinets, looking for ingrediants when Lucy came holding a phone in her hands.
“Mrs. Benson, there is a lady on the phone asking for Mr. Benson, I told her he was at work, but then she asked to speak with you,” Lucy told me softly.
I took the phone and held it against my ear. “Hello?” I started the conversation.
“Hello, I want to speak to Theodore, please,” an uber sweet voice said, causing me to frown. Didn’t Lucy just tell her that he is not here? Or did this lady have a hearing problem?
“I’m sorry, he is not here right now, would you tell me who are you?” I asked the lady.
“Who are you?” The lady asked me again.
“I’m Hailey,” I replied. I didn’t like the fact that she didn’t answer my question. What was wrong with this woman?!
“Oh, you’re Hailey, that’s wonderful dear, I’m Judy, Theodore’s mother.” My heart lurched at hearing this. His mom! This woman, who I was insulting in my mind was his mom! Somebody shoot me! Good thing I didn’t voice my thoughts to her, no wonder she talked like this-like she had some special right to Theodore.
“Oh, it’s nice to meet you, Mrs. Benson,” I said meekly. I was already intimidated by this woman, and I haven’t even met her yet. Because, you don’t want her to dislike you, my subconscious stated matter of factly.
“Oh dear, call me Mom, anyways tell me how are you doing?” Judy asked.
“I’m good, how are you?” I asked in return, wanting to be polite.
“I’m wonderful, okay darling, I won’t take too much of your time, could you please let Theodore know that we have arrived in New York. I had tried calling him on his cell phone and even at work but he is currently busy in a meeting,” Theodore’s mom continued speaking, “do let him know that all of us have arrived, and both of you are going to spend the day with us tomorrow,” Judy informed me.
“Oh of course, I’ll let him know,” I answered feeling anxiety grip me. How would I face his family?
“Okay, darling, I’ll see you both tomorrow, and congratulations on your wedding, take care, Hailey, bye.” With that she hung up.
I put the phone on the counter, worry weaving its web around my heart and mind. I stepped back but gripped my forehead as the world tilted. What’s wrong with me?
“Mrs. Benson, here are the onions you requested, I cut them up for you,” Daisy, one of the maids, told me. The smell of onions did nothing to make me feel better. In fact, it only made my head spin more. I clutched my head seeing spots flash before my eyes.
“Mrs. Benson, are you alright?” Daisy asked, taking a hold of my arm.
“I-I’m fine,” I lied. I tried walking, but it felt like I had two left feet as I stumbled and would have fallen if Daisy hadn’t caught me.
“Come, Mrs. Benson, you sit, I’ll call Mr. Benson,” Daisy gently led me out of the kitchen in the living room and gently sat me down on the sofa.
“No no, don’t call Theodore, I’m fine, really,” I protested, but I knew Daisy didn’t believe me. In truth, I didn’t want Theodore to worry. He was already busy as it was.
Daisy hurried out of the living room, leaving me to dwell on the unnerving fact that Theodore’s family was here in New York and I was suppose to meet them. Never in my entire life had I thought that I would be meeting the family of one of the richest men in the world-as my in laws! What if they didn’t like me? What if they thought I was a gold digger? I didn’t want them to hate me. What if Theodore started hating me if his family didn’t approve of me? Oh God no, I couldn’t have that. I couldn’t have Theodore hating me, I loved him too much.
My anxiety didn’t abate, nor did I feel any better. As my mind was bombarded with what ifs my headache only worsened. My surroundings began to blur; my tongue felt too thick in my mouth; my eyes began to droop; and soon I lost the battle to stay conscious as darkness consumed me.
“Is she going to be alright, doctor?” A familiar male voice asked. Theodore, was he here?
“She’s going to be just fine, make sure she doesn’t take too much stress, I’ve prescribed these vitamins, make sure she takes them,” a smooth voice responded. Vitamins? Why did I need vitamins? Why couldn’t I take too much stress? What was going on?
I slowly opened my eyes only to be met with Theodore’s worried gray ones. His eyes were like two pools of worry and anxiety. Theodore was holding my hand in his in a firm grip. He was perched on the bed next to me, his hair unkempt as if he had run his fingers through it numerous times. I swept my gaze to my surroundings and realized that I was in bed in our bedroom. The duvet covered most of my body, making me feel safe. There were a couple of maids standing along with Julie, who was wearing an expression of worry similar to Theodore’s.
“Wh-what happened?” I croaked.
“Sweetheart, you fainted, Daisy called me and I rushed here as soon as possible,” Theodore informed me. I blushed in embarrassment at hearing this. Great, wasn’t it bad enough that the impending meeting with Theodore’s family was already driving me nuts I had to go and faint. Nice going, Hailey.
“Well, if you have no further questions I’m going to take my leave now,” the doctor said and stood up from the bed. “Mrs. Benson, I advise you to relax and enjoy yourself, try not to stress yourself, it would not be good for either of you,” the doctor instructed. Then with a nod of acknowledgement to Theodore he left the room, the maids except Julie leaving to see him out. Theodore told Julie to make dinner, to which she nodded and left the room leaving Theodore and I alone.
“What did he mean by either of us? And why is stress bad for me?” I questioned Theodore who now had the biggest smile on his face.
“Darling, I love you, you know that, right?” Theodore asked still smiling.
“Yes, but why are you asking me that?” I was now really confused.
Theodore kissed me softly on the lips, his lips lingering, butterflies fluttering in my belly. “You know, now I’m going to love you even more, you have literally made me the happiest man alive, flower.” Theodore kissed me again.
I was sure my face was the definition of confused. Why was Theodore so happy? How in the seventh heaven had I made him happy by fainting? Like how? Maybe fainting had permanently messed with my mind, making me see and hear strange things that couldn’t be true in the normal world.
“Theodore, please explain to me what you’re trying to say, I’m very confused,” I pleaded.
“Sweetheart, we’re pregnant,” Theodore told me, his face radiating happiness.
Shock tore my ability to speak. Pregnant, I was pregnant? How? By having sex, duh, my subconscious stated. No wonder I fainted, sh! t, I was going to be a mom. Could I even handle it?
My fear and worry must’ve been displayed on my face, because Theodore frowned when he saw I didn’t share his enthusiasm.
“Princess, you alright?” Theodore asked with concern.
“Theodore, I’m pregnant, I can’t be pregnant, Theodore, I don’t know how to be a mom, what am I going to do, I can’t have this baby, I don’t know how to raise a child, what am I going to do, Theodore?!” I was now in hysterics. All sorts of crazy scenarios went through my mind on how I would be a horrible mom. In one of the scenario I dropped my baby in the bath tub and watched in amazement as the bubbles swallowed it.
“Hailey, calm down,” Theodore kissed me forehead. “First of all, you’re not pregnant, we are pregnant. Second, you have nothing to worry about as I would be there with you every step of the way, this baby is ours and I’ll make sure to care for both you and our unborn child, do you understand? And third, we have plenty of time to learn how to be parents, I’m not saying we won’t make mistakes, because we will, but we’ll stick together and raise our child as best as we can, got it?” Theodore said all this in less than four minutes. It was strange how his words had instantly calmed me down, making me believe that we could really raise our unborn child.
“Okay, I love you, Theodore,” I muttered softly.
“And I love you, and this unborn baby.” Theodore smiled, gently placing his hand on my tummy.
“By the way, what had you so stressed you ended up passing out?” Theodore inquired after a couple of minutes.
“Uh, well, you see, your mother called and told me to tell you that all of your family has arrived in New York and we are to spend the day with them tomorrow,” I told him in a rush, feeling embarrassment color my cheeks.
“Oh sweetheart, you don’t have to worry about meeting my family, they’ll love you,” Theodore said making feel stupid for stressing over meeting his family.
“What if they don’t like me?” My insecurity creeping in my tone.
“They won’t like you, they’ll love you, so relax, okay?” Theodore pecked my nose affectionately.
I opened my mouth to tell him how it was easier said than done when the door to our bedroom burst opened and Amanda barged in looking ready to kill.
“Alright, tell me what have you done to my best friend before I chop off your balls and feed it to my cat?” Amanda threw daggers at Theodore who looked at her as if she just escaped from prison.
“Relax Amanda, Theodore didn’t do anything, I’m fine,” I told her and sat up; Theodore fixed the pillows which were now resting at my back against the headboard.
“How can I relax when my best friend didn’t pick up my calls, only to have her husband pick up her phone and inform me she has fainted?”
“Mandi, sit down, I’m fine,” I ordered her. Mandi obliged with a huff and flopped on the bed right next to me.
“Tell me what’s wrong? Are you alright?” She asked worriedly making me thank God to bless me with a friend like her.
I took her hand and gave it a firm squeeze. “Theodore and I have something to tell you.” I looked at Theodore who smiled.
All of a sudden Amanda’s eyes filled with tears. “You’re leaving me?” She questioned and a lone tear slipped from her eye.
“What?! No! That’s not what we have to tell you, dummy,” I responded bewildered that she would think I would ever leave her.
“Then what do you have to tell me?” Amanda asked in confusion.
I rolled my eyes while Theodore chuckled. “I’m pregnant,” I told her. Her eyes widened and her mouth dropped.
“Yo-you-you’re pregnant?” Mandi asked in mumble.
“Correction, we are pregnant,” Theodore piped in, I squeezed his hand in agreement.
“You’re pregnant, you’re pregnant!” Amanda grinned, her voice piercing my ears.
“Yes, pregnant.” I confirmed smiling at her obvious display of excitement.
“You’re pregnant, with a baby!” Mandi continued in her high pitched voice.
“What else am I going to be pregnant with, a chicken?” I asked rhetorically earning a laugh from both Theodore and Amanda.
“I’m going to be an aunt!” Mandi cried while clapping her hands together in apparent glee.
“Yes you are.” I chuckled.
“Yes, that’s the best news ever,” Mandi stated.
“That’s what I said,” Theodore agreed with her.
“When did you say that?” I asked him as he didn’t say anything like that in front of me.
“When the doctor gave me the news while you were still unconscious,” Theodore answered while kissing my forehead. His hand was still resting on my tummy, and somehow that gesture was enough proof that Theodore would be an amazing father.
“Okay Lee, now keep one thing in mind, no matter what you say or do I’m going to spoil my nephew or niece rotten,” Mandi stated.
The rest of the day passed with Mandi telling us everything she planned to do with her unborn nephew or niece. While Theodore and I just laughed, and sometimes rolled our eyes whenever she told us a crazy idea. But I was content. I was content knowing that the two most important people in my life would be there with me through thick and thin.
And I couldn’t ask for more.
