“What do you mean by that? The head of the rogues is also the one responsible for killing your parents.” He asked, still surprised at what he was hearing.
“Yes.” Ellie replied, while Alex just ran his hands through his hair. Everything really correlated, but who and why exactly the person had done all this was what he didn’t understand.
“But you should have told me everything.” Alex said, holding her hands, not caring about the other two people looking at them. “That was because you hid the information about the moon crystal pack. They’re all my family, Alex. And it’s not wrong for me to know about them.”
“I’m sorry.” He apologized, knowing he was wrong. Ellie also nodded before she heard Callum ask, “But you’re a dark witch. How did you help her to see a vision? Only a white witch could do that, right?”
They all looked at her for an answer, but Agnes only smiled. “Let’s just say I got lucky.”
“You’re not a dark witch.” Alex said, more in the form of a question, but Agnes just sighed. “I don’t think we should talk about that right now, Alpha.”
“And why shouldn’t we? You’re not a dark witch, which makes you more suspicious.” Alex retorted, but Ellie just held his hand, seeing how uncomfortable the woman was. “She has really helped me, Alex.”
“I am a dark witch, on the path where I’m wicked and cunning, as you said before. And I’m the only dark witch who can help humans see the past, but I can’t see it myself like a white witch. And it’s fine. If you don’t trust me, Alpha, I understand why you don’t, but what I’m after is to also catch who the culprit is.” She said, which made Alex finally relaxed. “There’s also a witch who’s working with the rogues, and the witch has been disguising herself to steal poisons from the dark forest. They’ve stolen a lot of our poisons, even the ones that can corrupt a werewolf.”
Alex kept listening before sighing. “And you also don’t know who Lady Aurora’s stalker was?” He asked, to which the woman also nodded. The room became quiet until Callum excused himself due to temporary paralysis because of how he had been sitting.

“Maya, wait. Where are you going?” Darren asked as he ran to meet up with her, but the girl was so fast. He finally caught up to her and pulled her back. “Where are you going?”
“Why? What’s your business with that?” She said, pushing his hands away. But to make it worse, Darren brought his face closer to hers. “Are you okay? You look so tense.” He went to the supreme to see her, but got really worried and scared when he heard that she had gone to the dark forest. He had always known her as someone who likes taking risks, and he was worried she might hurt herself if she kept up with it, but there was nothing he could do. She is so stubborn.
Maya felt sweat starting to form on her forehead. She quickly moved back away from him, but Darren just sighed. “Why did you come here? You should have told your brother; he was so worried.”
“None of your business again. You should go continue whatever you’re doing with that witch, rather than meddling in my business.”
“Continue what I was doing? Were you jealous?” He asked, smiling, which got Maya to raise her eyebrows. “Jealous? Jealousy is a feeling I can never feel, Mr. Darren.”
“Are you sure, because I can hear your loud heartbeat? And I’m not sure if it’s trying to tell me something.” Darren said, walking closer to her, but Maya just stayed rooted.
“You don’t know what you’re talking about.” Maya said calmly, staring deep into his eyes, but Darren just smiled. “I told you the last time I wouldn’t give up, and I won’t. So you don’t have to get jealous.”
“I told you I’m not jealous.” She retorted before Darren put one of his fingers on her lips. “Shhhh. You talk too much.” His face was moving towards hers, and his lips were just an inch away from hers.
Maya also did not know when she closed her eyes; her heart was beating so fast. She didn’t even know what to do. She just stayed in that same position until his lips touched hers. As he kissed her lightly, she didn’t even move. It was as if something was holding her back, not until her hearing became elevated.
Before she could think, she heard, “Maya!” She quickly pushed Darren away as she tried to get her senses back together. Callum!
How dare you! Callum dashed towards Darren and was about to punch him when Maya quickly pushed him back.
“Callum, please.” Maya begged, but the man didn’t look like he was listening to her. “How dare you take advantage of her!” He kept shouting, while Maya also kept pushing him back to avoid them from fighting because of her, but it got worse when Darren said. “Relax, Callum.”
She didn’t know how to stop them. How can they keep fighting all because of her? Not knowing what to do again, she screamed. “Callum, please stop. I was the one who kissed him.”
Callum finally stopped to look at her. “The both of you should just stop, okay?” He was surprised when he got out of the hut, and he didn’t see anyone. He used his sense of smell to trace them to where they were, but was shocked when he found the both of them kissing. He couldn’t stop his anger; he just dashed towards Darren to punch him.
The three of them took a deep breath before Callum grabbed Maya’s hand. Looking at Darren, he said, “This conversation is not over. Let’s go. Alex must be waiting for us.”
Maya also did not say anything. She just followed him in silence, while Darren also followed behind. Maya felt so embarrassed, but she just kept all her emotions in. She was so angry at herself for acting so weak. “How could you allow him to kiss you?” She thought.
They all walked back to the hut only to see Alex and Ellie, who were already standing outside, talking to Agnes. “Where are the three of you coming from?” Alex asked, wondering where they were coming from.
We… Um… Maya stammered, not knowing the perfect excuse to give him. But just when she thought her brother would suspect something, Callum said. “I thought I saw something strange moving in the woods, so I told them to accompany me.” But his eyes were on Darren, as if he wanted to attack him.
Alex did not say anything. He just turned to Ellie. “We should go now.” Ellie also nodded before bowing her head a little to Agnes, who had been quiet since. They all left the hut but not before Agnes screamed. “I hope I see you again, Luna.” Ellie also looked back and smiled.
They left the dark forest. Different thoughts ran through each of their minds as they walked back to where they packed their car, but before they could get there. The atmosphere suddenly felt strange.
Rouges! Maya said, as a wolf was about to attack her, but she quickly dodged and turned to her wolf form.
The other three also changed into their wolf form, but Alex was guarding Ellie from the rogues. He fought them as they came along his way until he got busy. Ellie, who was watching the werewolves fight, was already so scared, she didn’t even know where to run to, because different rogues were thrown her way.
She was about to hide behind a tree when she felt something strange in the air. One of the rogues was staring at her like it was about to attack her. She moved back slowly, hoping the rogue would pounce on her, but strangely, the rogue just turned away from her. It was more like it wasn’t planning on hurting her.
As soon as the rogue werewolf turned, Ellie saw that it ran towards Alex, who was still fighting with some. She got so scared that it might hurt him. Without thinking, she ran towards the wolf. And as soon as she almost got closer, her eyes turned green. She pushed the wolf and hit it against a rock, making its head gush out blood.
Other rogues that saw this quickly fled and ran for their lives. “Ellie,” Alex called out as he walked up to her and hugged her despite the blood on her hands.
The other three just stood watching the both of them.
